Hey, I have an Avalon Mini 60gh and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile and safe to remove the top panel off the unit in an attempt to make it run cooler. Would this work and would it be safe to do without my miner being damaged?

89  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ASICMINER CUBES - 2btc ea - 31-38ghs on: November 15, 2013, 05:27:51 PM
WTCR is a rip off. There is no way to get a good price on ASICMINER gear if you live in Canada since the GB's wont ship here.
Try cloud mining instead actually having the hardware since you can sell your gh at any time or buy more and it starts mining for you instantly. It pays into your account every block and you get paid in BTC, NMC, IXC and DVC. To start mining just click in my signature below Smiley

Why don't they just go to https://cex.io/ instead??  Quit spamming your fucking referral links everywhere asshat (hopefully the mods will take action on your dumbass)

the last couple threads i have been in have you spamming this nonsense... stfu already
My apologies, wont happen anymore Smiley

Sell all your hardware and switch to cloud mining, its much better. You can sell your gh at any time or buy more and it starts mining for you instantly. It pays into your account per block and you get paid in BTC, NMC, IXC and DVC. To start mining just click in my signature below Smiley

I think its alot safer to cloud mine than to actually own the hardware since you can sell your gh at any time or buy more and it starts mining for you instantly. It pays into your account per block and you get paid in BTC, NMC, IXC and DVC. To start mining just click in my signature below Smiley
93  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ASIC 49 port 2.0 usb HUB with minepeon on: November 15, 2013, 04:26:18 PM
I think instead you should start cloud mining, its alot cheaper gh at CEX.io than it is to buy usb miners (whether its blue/redfury or 336mhz). At cex you can buy or sell more Gh whenever you like and it starts mining for you instantly. It pays into your account every block and you get paid in btc, nmc, ixc and dvc. 94  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Grrrrr Help plz on: November 15, 2013, 04:23:26 PM
I have been trying for days to set up any kind of bitcoin miner on my mac. I tried rpc miner, followed all the instructions, entered bitcoin.mining.cz for url. 8332 for port account.worker for user and my workers password and only get an error mssg.

I've tried setting up other clients, but I'm not good at dealing with terminal stuff and cant get anything to work. This is more for my education and future mining. Im not concerned with speed or hash rate, I just want to get a client running. Can someone give me a macmining for dummies walk through on how to get a client running. I'm looking for a cpu miner for now. I know it's slow and not very profitable, but that's what I want to do.

On top of everything else, I downloaded Bt-q wallet. It took over a day to catch up, then I got a database error, it took another day to fix it and then got another database error. And on top of everything else I had bitcoins on input.io and lost some of that. TF sent me 1.3 of the 2 btc balance I had. Anyway my bitcoin experience has not been a happy one and I'd appreciate any help. Thanks
If you want mine easily, just cloud mine at CEX. They have all the hardware, you can buy/sell more gh of speed whenever you want. They pay out to your account also, every block (you get btc, nmc, ixc and dvc).

95  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it worth it to get back in? on: November 15, 2013, 04:15:14 PM
I would recommend cloud mining through cex.io. You can buy and sell more gh of mining speed whenever you want and they have maintain the hardware. All you have to do is pay and then get btc, nmc, ixc and dvc into your account every block. To start just click on my signature below Smiley
96  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: nitrominer real /scam info needed on: November 15, 2013, 09:05:00 AM
Yeah, looks like a scam to me. If you want to start mining cheap without having to worry about the hardware then click on the link in my signature and you can start cloud mining. It much easier and you can start mining in minutes Smiley
97  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Best miner for the money? on: November 14, 2013, 09:30:54 PM
Try cloud mining its much better. You can buy and sell gh whenver you want. For me it turned out to be much better than using actual hardware at your home. Just click on my signature to get more info Smiley
