If you have nothing to add or offer, very hard to get into crypto.

Ummm, yes I know its very very hard and I wouldn't jeopardize anyone economically if after setting everything up I feel that it's not a good idea i'll launch it as a demo/test currency and offer all the pre-mined coins for free.

at this point i am not sure about anything just going ahead because i am getting a lot to learn.

Well, congratulations you are indeed an enthusiast to cryptos, i hope you will achieve what you wanted, but for me pre-mined isn't a good idea most of the pre-mined coin doesn't make any success XRP is an exception we know the bankers has the money.

Thank you, I have a lot of free time Grin 4 months for next exams.
and yes I know that pre-mining is not a good idea I will pre-mine like 1/100 or something of the total supply that's what i have thought for now, i hope i'll learn and make a better decision by the time I finish.

Creating your own coin/ blockchain is a very serious work mate, if you are looking for a token that can be possible as it does not involve any technical knowledge or programming skills, further you can do your own research or hire a developer.
thanks for your opinion, I need lots of them Wink
Hiring a developer makes the whole point moot, I wrote whatever was on my mind but it's not carved in stone though I would love to get support or help from people who know how all the developing goes but making it myself is the point.

So Yesterday, I successfully set up the environment using this guide:
https://bitzuma.com/posts/compile-bitcoin-core-from-source-on-ubuntu/

I got some errors which were fixed by installing additional libraries, refer to doc/build-Unix.md in bitcoin git for it.

Today I have made my crypto daemon and qt pending few changes, I am using current litecoin version.

I have noted every step so far and will paste every step after I'm done with all the changes I want and testing etc etc

ah, yes this is the guide I used to install ubuntu:
https://linus.nci.nih.gov/bdge/installUbuntu.html

Bitcoin news is everywhere tv, facebook, insta so after all bitcoin bitcoin bitcoin  a month ago high on coffee, mid-exams, I had this revolutionary moment when I asked to myself "hey, why can't I launch my own coin?"

well, hello genius you are 5 years late :|

But since I have been thinking about it for over a month now, the thought has consumed me and hence, I still want to do it.

Things to make:
1) A cryptocurrency can be a 100% clone.
2) An exchange.
3) A mining pool.

Resolve: to complete 3 above in 45 days.

Problems:
1) 0 programming knowledge, have been reading and reading for 2 days now, finally was able to have the environment setup.
2) 0% financed (have decided to put 100% of my extra cash into this - giving up beer for this)
3) 0 team (1 man army)

Reason:
Well like everyone else " I believe the coin will be the future ....."
I believe bitcoin is the "The Coin" not because it is perfect but because of its original, it has survived 8 good years but still a lot of people are scared, skeptical, unaware, afraid of the crypto world because it is so confusing. It's not easy to learn unless we dive into it.

Real reason:
Awareness, to spread among Indians awareness about cryptocurrency, to make them enter into a domain which they don't trust( i will register my company and all so that they know the person behind everything which is going on etc etc)

Is it a fun coin like doge? No
Will I pre-mine?: Yes
Will I crowdfund it?: Yes
is the coin revolutionary?: No, its a clone!
Is it a ponzi scheme/Scam?: No :p

So what are the plans for the coin then, will i pocket everything I raise(if I raise)?
Stepwise plan(Really Really optimistic plan):
1) Get a team if I can!
2)Develop a good and sound environment for the coin to survive.(see things to make above)
3)Raise utility of the coin - implementation for microtransaction - talk to a lot of people to start accepting it - start locally.
4)If the fund raised are reaaaaaallly good - R&D for ASIC mining - open source (after recovering costs+ 10/20% profit).
5)IF Okayish good -  Set up mining farm - give 70/80% dividends back to initial investors ofc(at stake)
6)IF not so good - well, spend it on management etc.
7)IF 0 raised  - give more hard work.

okay, wrote everything on my mind.

btw, Sumit - India - 25
