41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on SEC meeting on: February 06, 2018, 06:53:58 PM
I think it's good, a little more regulation further legitimizes cryptoassets and if we can strike a balance here it bodes well
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is what i buy during the crash. on: February 05, 2018, 11:02:15 PM
It's Ether, Neo, Stellar for me
43  Other / Politics & Society / Re: indonesia on: February 02, 2018, 09:36:45 PM
you probably meant indonesian right? there are not that many indians living in indonesia (compared to, say, singapore).

Singapore and Malaysia are having sizable Indian minorities because Tamil laborers were imported to those counties during the British colonial rule. Indonesia was under the Dutch colonial rule and there was no need for importing laborers from elsewhere. Even then, you can find small Tamil minorities in cities such as Medan and Jakarta.

although Singapore itself is such a tiny country that absolute numbers wise I'd be extremely surprised if there were more Indians living there vs. Indonesia. Percentage wise maybe!

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February and March? on: February 01, 2018, 08:05:03 PM
Current (https://tokensale.current.us/) if you like music and Mark Cuban
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: February 01, 2018, 07:38:49 PM
Of course.. I don't go into the nitty-gritty details but definitely look out for projects that make sense, have a reputable team and advisors. You are putting your dollars to work, so there has to be some discretion!
48  Other / Politics & Society / Re: indonesia on: February 01, 2018, 03:05:00 AM
~US$1tn in GDP growing at ~5% and accounting for half of Southeast Asia's digital economy, it's absolutely one of the most attractive places for investments, entrepreneurship and living
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform! on: January 31, 2018, 04:09:20 PM
I am using EtherDelta but facing problem that token/coin transfer from MyEtherWallet to EtherDelta or vice-versa is time consuming and very expensive.

I feel the same too... and I also use KuCoin and Binance
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo going up, is it good? on: January 31, 2018, 03:42:30 PM

52  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Working Abroad is a lot of sacrifice. on: January 30, 2018, 04:09:28 PM
From present/past colleagues I've worked with, other than leaving friends and family behind, the next hardest thing would probably be fitting into the culture. Even having lived for years somewhere as cosmopolitan as NYC / London etc., they find that culturally there still is a difference that cannot be bridged.

Absolutely... one of my favorite quotes is that "no one becomes poor from giving"
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to crypto. Should I buy Tron TRX? on: January 29, 2018, 07:05:51 PM
TRX is really volatile - if you are in just for the short term for speculative trading then I think it's fine, but to hodl probably not. There are better alternatives out there like XLM / NEO
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: January 29, 2018, 03:11:17 PM
Sorry to hear that.. just be really careful when you sign up for bounties and extra careful when it involves monetary investment (i would stay away from those)
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most underrated ICOs to invest in right now?? on: January 29, 2018, 02:55:21 AM
Right now as per my portfolio , the best selections are arkblock and wepower. they have best teams and concepts. those are quite good examples for the best ico's. i have investe on bluzelle also so it will a great potential also.

These two seem really popular. I will add Republic Protocol to that list.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market starts to rejoice ?? on: January 28, 2018, 01:40:29 PM
I think for now, the entire cryptocurrency market is turning green.
But the price of the USDT has been falling, which is not a good sign, which could mean the outflow of money is serious.

Maybe this is why..

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying coffee with cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2018, 03:26:57 AM
Well.. there is a cafe in Singapore that accepts BTC or its own token for payment. I'll be curious to know how it is doing

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALtcoins Prices on: January 27, 2018, 08:18:33 PM
Definintely. I think there will be a pump this Chinese New year which is a good opportunity to sell coins that you're holding. This January has been a " roller coaster" for all of the cryptocurrencies due to peak it reached last year. I see a good probability of increase in prices this February.

I'm not sure I'm as optimistic about Chinese New Year contributing to a pump. Rather, it should bring about a little less volatility from the Chinese given that regulators are on vacation and things slow down a lot during this period.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ArcBlock - a Future I want on: January 26, 2018, 07:21:47 PM
There has been a lot of hype on this project - in fact, so much hype that I am starting to get a little skeptical. I think everyone who is thinking about getting into this should also take the time to look at the claims of this being a scam just to err on the safe side.
