There's always a risk in investment or trading, but there's no clear answer which performs the best. You could mine a coin today and the price soars sky-high tomorrow. You could trade an altcoin and gain 10x / lose 10x tomorrow. The bottom line is you need to do your due diligence before you start to invest. I myself lost almost 1k in a so-called bitcoin cloud mining program.

writing presentation and the new whitepaper with the new design and advancements The whitepaper is going to be amazing  Ohad has been hard at work on this for ages. Just to counter the excitement: I doubt it can compensate the treatment of early investors. I bought 2 years ago for nearly the same price in dollars and the ico is still not over. The promised weekly 2% raise in price of his selling (wich means a 7fold increase in 2 years) is bypassed by using bittrex only and not caring about the price there. There stood somewhere, that the not sold token would be burned, ... but with an ico forever, this will never gonna happen probably. Speaking in BTC its a loss of about 75%. Thankfully I didn't buy much... I feel you, I cut my loss because I needed some liquidity last year. Ohad is no doubt a super techie and I do respect him but something has to be changed... |

That depends on what you consider as an official launch. Listing at exchanges? The release of the Moonlite Explorer source? You can mine moonlite right now: 1) by posting commands on the Internet (no software needed for that), 2) by recording commands on the Mooncoin blockchain (you need a Mooncoin wallet and 29.5 million MOON), people already are doing it.
