41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to setup a PRISMA using BE Controller ? on: November 11, 2014, 12:58:08 PM
I think the expected draw is 250w per board, so you would probably want to make sure that you can deliver 300w per board or so, which likely means using both PCI-e cables.

The jumper switches on the boards set the board id number.  It doesn't matter if they are sequential, but it makes it easier.  Directions for setting them and running the 3pin wires are in dogie's asicminer tube setup thread.  Sorry don't have link.

I've not set mine up yet, but I will be doing so today, I presume to plug it into the BE controller would be like any other tube setup.  Remember only one of the uart ports on the BE controller works.

thanks!  i really like your idea with the spacers.  Where did you find all those?

i found them here:

http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6261180047.html

edit: Keep in mind these boards are undervolted to 0.74v - 0.79v and without headsinks they will get hot, but the 2 fans keep them at aprox 45 degrees celcius

similar standoffs are available on amazon - some with prime shipping.  just takes a bit to find the exact one you want.  but start out looking for M3 standoff

good luck
If you don't want to buy something, you don't need to come and crap all over a thread.  I posted the price, if you don't want to pay it, then move along.  If you want to send someone an offer - do it in private like everyone else.  Sorry I'm not willing to spend $40 in shipping to sell you these at that price you requested.  If you low ball someone, at least offer to take everything.

46  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 09, 2014, 09:08:22 PM
I've bought some used X3's and one is not functioning.

Did someone look into what exactly is the problem with the AP188 PSU ?
I trying to see if i can have it repaired locally.

Ordering a new AP188 PSU from BA costs about USD255 !!

I'm thinking of using an HP DPS1200W PSU and use that instead of the AP188 unit.
Anyone done this ?

What is wrong with it?  Fault light blinking on the PSU?  Solutions to that have been posted on the BlackArrow forum - as well as on this forum.

47  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 16x Ant Miner S1 - Underclock Undervolt - USA only on: November 09, 2014, 09:05:18 PM
the psus are $10 on ebay

You are correct on what those Dell DPS cost.  $8-$15 unless you buy from an overpriced reseller.  That's all I value them at.

So what does the PSU company have to say about this turn of events and how much did BA extort from them?

Gotta wonder about that, don't ya.

someone should give our friends at Aplus a call.....

I contacted Aplus when I thought that I needed a replacement PSU - you can believe it or not - get a reply out of them... He suggested it might be the miner causing the fault, and sure enough - it was a dead hash board

6 with 2 psus for .5 shipped?
no.  .2 of that would cover the cost of the PSU and shipping.  Sorry I'm not going to sell s1's for .05 BTC i.e $17
50  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 16x Ant Miner S1 - Underclock Undervolt - USA only on: November 09, 2014, 01:27:24 PM
16 left.  Yes we will blow the dust off of them before shipping... not that it seemed to matter to these

52  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: How much is a BTCGarden AM-V1 worth? on: November 09, 2014, 02:26:12 AM
consider an asicminer tube is basically the same watt/gh - they were .77 btc new for 800gh.  So you are at 600gh, so .6 btc new would be about right, depreciate from there.

prisma is 1.4th at a better efficiency and about 1.4 BTC so far as I've seen.

That's on the presumption it's the 610gh unit, not the smaller 300gh one.
53  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SOLD] AM Prisma 1.4TH on: November 08, 2014, 01:53:12 PM
I didn't think it was an auction... I'm hoping i can just plug it into a BE controller and it will magically print money... If no money pops out, at least it will act as a space heater.

I wanted to mess with the usb adapters as well.  I was hoping to find a way to make the tubes play with USB.

Since it was your example   -- and presuming shipping isn't INSANE and escrow is ok...
Terraminer @ 10 @ 0.1

More info on the KNC super jups if you have it - I didn't know that they hit 7TH each
57  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS 16x Ant Miner S1 - Underclock Undervolt - USA only on: November 08, 2014, 02:48:57 AM
Up for sale is 16 Antminer S1 underclocked and undervolted running between 100-140 GH and pulling between 160-190W at the wall (only way I have to measure).  Some of these are at 275 and some are at 267.  I have not spent time stabilizing them, just making sure the HW was less than 1%.  For every 3 purchased, I'm including a dell DPS 750 power supply and wire harness (i.e. 14 gauge wire run from the PSU to the terminal blocks on the miner).

Shipping via UPS ground or priority mail depending on which is cheaper.

Looking for .12 BTC per miner + shipping - or .42 BTC per group of 3 including PSU and shipping.

These are all used of course... Set to DHCP and already all set to undervolt and underclock.  Want them reset to stock clock/ip/etc no problem - just let me know.

These are also up on ebay so the quantity available might change as sales are there as well. Bought some other miners to replace these on the shelves.

Payment can be sent to 1CZq8cdnKqSaZ9XSxjh4ozxPXozTLmwRzf - followed up by a PM with more information, shipping address, email, etc.

Domestic USA shipping only.  I won't ship international or to a package forwarder.

If you have any questions send a message.

none of the 8 i have had psu issues even though they were shipped as far back as early september.  Granted we run them on 220 PDU in a rack.
60  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 08, 2014, 12:46:14 AM
the latest story is that the piece of shit can't be shipped without getting physically damaged, which is obviously a physical design flaw, as if these people didn't realize they'd have to ship these things and other manufacturers are not managing to actually ship their products.

None of the 8 units I have were damaged in shipping.  just as an aside.  In fact based on the way the cards are held in place, it'd be kind of hard to damage.
