Fake as in scams, there are definitely a lot of these about.  You have to make sure you do your research before investing, don't buy into something simply because you saw someone mention it on Twitter for example.

It seems that a lot of folk are now saying that bitcoin is actually a good thing, just look at Rockefeller and Soros now looking to trade as if they haven't already done so privately, when the big boys enter big things happen.

Yes, it has been a hard lesson learned that I should hold, each time I have gotten out of a coin completely a few months later it sky rockets and that has happened on more than one occasion so this time I am holding all.

It does play a part in deciding whether or not to invest into an ICO, there are other major factors also but the team behind it will influence or should influence participation in an ICO.

It is the time to get into ETH for sure but to go all in on anything is an extremely risky thing to do even though ETH will go up it is a risky move to hold all your eggs in the one basket.

People will always need funding for projects and so far an ICO seems to be the best place to go, we will see more rules and stricter guidelines but I think the process of funding through an ICO will still be in place.

It's all been terrible the last few months for the majority of coins, bitcoin at some point should stabalise and start moving the other way, if anything this could be seen as a prime time to buy bitcoin and alts.

I like the Tesla example, he had inventions coming out of his ears but didn't have the finance to bring them all to fruition, by seeking capital he did encounter issues and sacrifice, I believe he had invented wireless electricity and pretty much what we use now as Wifi but his way would have been available to all which meant the big corporations would not make money from it so they would bury this idea and others.

I suppose that's one of the downfalls when going to the big boys for funding, this is why currently starting an ICO seems to be a great way to raise capital from the people.

People should know when investing that their investment isn't always going to go up and the chances are that they will lose money in the short term, I think there were a lot of people that came into Crypto the end of last year when bitcoin was at it's peak and they would have thought that they would make a lot of money quickly only to see the price of bitcoin now, this will be a hard lesson for a lot of people.

I don't think so, even with bitcoin cash pretending it is bitcoin and especially with the new people joining they may get some momentum from that but long term it will not become bitcoin no matter how hard they try, it's just another fork like many others.

Not everything will be listed on Coinmarketcap, they have a minimum daily volume level for coins and also I believe there are rules in place for adding exchanges also.  I have a few that are not listed on there and it does not mean that they are good or bad, it just means they haven't yet been picked up so there may be some gems in those you find.

That would be an extremely popular site if there was one, I think the closest we have to an up to date list is Coinmarket cap and then from there you just have to work it out for yourself, maybe someone could do something like this but maybe it would not be relevant to everyone and I would imagine it would be a lot of work.

You can never tell what it is going to do, I had no idea we would be in the red for so long but today is a good day for the greens, will it last I certainly hope so as Blockfolio has been ugly for months.
