201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: December 25, 2018, 06:51:22 PM
Investing without proper research can cause some loss if care is not taken. There are times that people just invest in a coin because they see it growing or better still pumping, instead of investing in a coin because of its future prospects and value. Some of these coins are cheap at the moment and they will likely grow any time soon.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to start ICO on: December 24, 2018, 11:26:11 PM
Am I missing something??? Why can't devs launch ICOs only when market is stable to avoid not getting listed ,I'm hearing 6months from few projects before getting listed ,this is very annoying. Start ICO when market condition is pretty stable ,it won't hurt and would be better for every one ,there won't be any complains from bounty hunter side too
That is truly what bores so many bounty participants. Notwithstanding, bounty hunters should also try to do their research. There are hundreds of projects out there and you can get good ones from them, that won't waste your time and resources.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 55K loss, how to get back into the game on: December 24, 2018, 11:21:34 PM
Folks, what a terrible year 2018 has been so far. I invested around 60K and now left with 5K. I did terrible mistakes and I hope there would be a turnaround sometime next year or so. Any suggestions?

Now you see it as a game? If that is your observation, i think it will be good you opt in for trading, but it requires some skills.
If you can't, you should then hold, but know the right time to sell and perhaps buy back, should be of utmost concern to you.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking about sell? Or invest more? on: December 24, 2018, 11:17:54 PM
The challenge faced by some people, is knowing the right time to buy and hod. Most of what we have had this year, have been more of downtrends than uptrends. The uptrends were so short that it was hard to predict what would happen next. Not until this month, that lots of opportunities opened up to buy.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you afraid of the current market situation. on: December 23, 2018, 11:02:43 PM
At this point, there is no need to be afraid. I do not expect anything worse, rather it will be good. The market is moving uptrend, therefore, we are still in the recovery stage.
It is even glaring that the situation around now is better that the previous.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transferring tokens from wallets to exchanges on: December 23, 2018, 10:34:43 PM
I recently received tokens from my first ever bounty campaign and I was wondering if it's possible to transfer tokens from my MEW account that doesn't have any ETH yet to an exchange site like Binance?
You will always need gas fee, which is mandatory foir every transaction. The gas is not always  much, depending on what eth gas station brings out.
There are also some platforms that do not use gas for sending and receiving coins,  it is free.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think that Bitcoincash will replace Bitcoin on: December 23, 2018, 10:27:23 PM
I think regrettable that Bitcoin cash will replace Bitcoin in the future (1-2 years), at least in price
ç

Bch cash is an improved version of btc, and has 8mb blocks, in the future, if cryptos uses in day of day of real life, btc isn't optimized to make so transactions per second, and i'm afraid.
No matter how much the support that bitcoincash has, it does not have what it takes. Bitcoin will still continue to take the lead.
It has been a known fact from the onset that bitcoin is slow in transaction and that to me is not a problem.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: December 22, 2018, 11:59:15 PM
I noticed a just ended bounty campaign and a participant got 80K tokens. I was wondering what h will do with that token. I want to know what happens when bounty hunters gets more or huge tokens during campaigns.
Most bounty hunters sell their tokens and they do that to cater for their needs. There are some who hold, then sell whenever it rises. To me, i would say that most times is the best. Although, there are some tokens that dump after listing and then refuse to rise to the initial price.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many people are still here to hunt bounty? on: December 22, 2018, 11:58:44 PM
Quite a lot of people have left the bounty. I am here and start this work again. Do I want to know your opinion?
Some people left because of the bear market. Most ICOs during the bear do not succeed. In fact, those that reach soft cap, find it hard to do that.
Now that the market seem to be going uptrend and recovering, some of then are now returning.
I wasn't seeing much of accounts wearing signatures, but now, they seem to be increasing.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should I start buying ICOs again on: December 22, 2018, 11:58:15 PM
Whatever ICO you intend investing in, make sure you do your research. If i were you, i would invest in ICOs that are based on infrastructures and platforms. Those are the ICOs that have the tendency of succeeding.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Influence of Bounty Participants on: December 21, 2018, 10:30:19 PM
Lately there have been many who argue about bounty participants, some argue that the more bounty participants the better the new project will be. and there are also those who argue that bounty participants must be limited so they can avoid the number of dumper when a project is completed.

I have questions
1. How influential is this bounty participant for a new project?
2. If the bounty participant is restricted what will affect the success of a new project?

Well, this perception might be wrong, because bounty participants are not the only and main cause of dump. Have we even talked about private investors, promoters, even the team of the project. Not all bounty hunters dump.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: December 21, 2018, 10:30:06 PM
If the multi currency wallet is a hardware wallet, then such is good, because it is the safest. I can't imagine saving my assets in a multi currency wallet that is not safe, that might be a risky one and i won't like it scattered allover.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is KYC For Bounty Hunters Good? Lets Share Our Views! on: December 21, 2018, 10:23:27 PM
It now seems that so many people are now conscious of kyc. Well, i think we are now tending towards that time, where every project would be demanding for kyc from their participant. Well, it is a good approach, but everyone should do their research, to ensure that the project is not scam.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: December 21, 2018, 08:48:31 PM
You are definitely a newbie on the ico market.
Yes, that what you described above is a good and must be implemented in a "perfect project", but hystory says that the main thing to prevent a dump after the first listing is a token metrics. The less tokens in the circulation means the less probability to be dumped. Also there must be unsatisfied demand created before listing, this is the main factor for token grows at the first times. And also there must be a smart market making pre-paid and ordered on that exchange if it is real and the exchange can offer this.
Also there is exist some other options that could prevent a token dump but this information is not for all.
You sound very much knowledgeable and owing to the fact that you have been in the crypto space for quite some time, can you please, tell us what the other option is?
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trouble of Altcoins on: December 19, 2018, 10:07:55 PM
The growth of cryptocurrencies that we have seen in the last two days is another manipulation aimed at shaving the remaining hamsters.
We do not need to conclude on that yet. Since it ius not a sudden increase, it us happening gradually. If it is sustained, it might be the time for recovery and if not, in the next one or two weeks, we would know. We should also be careful of how we engage ourselves through buying and selling.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: seling or holding your altcoin ? on: December 19, 2018, 09:40:25 PM
If the price of altcoin is going downtrend, the best to do is to wait to see what the bottom would be and that is if you can identify it. If you are fortunate enough to do that, then buy from the bottom, most especially the good ones and wait for the bull run to come or for it to grow.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will replace ETH! on: December 19, 2018, 09:34:26 PM
A coin that would surpass Ethereum, will not depend on eth and neither will it be dominated by it. If you notice vividly well, if ethereum falls, this same ADA will fall with it and if it rises, it will also rise with. So a coin that behaves this way, cannot replace ethereum
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut losses on: December 19, 2018, 09:27:29 PM
Sometimes when we are told to sell the coins we have and take our profits, we behave like it is not good and useful to us, until we eventually lost.
Although, i lost part of my investment during the initial bear market in this year, but afterwards, i sold them off, so as not to incur more losses.
I then decided to keep part of the fiat, which is what i am now using to purchase the bear market.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: December 19, 2018, 09:19:52 PM
Hi.can someone tell me if KYC is ok ? what could be the effects of doing it especially in bounties/airdrops, they are requiring to pass KYC before joining
I think you are not comfortable with doing KYC for bounty or airdrop. Personally, i do not do it for airdrop, because i feel even if it is genuine, they only pay stipend. Then for bounty, i must have first confirmed if it is genuine or not before doing the KYC.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum lowest price on: December 18, 2018, 11:51:09 PM
Last year ethereum also experienced a decline as it is now, but to my knowledge does the price not fall as badly as this? how could this happen? what is behind it?
Ethereum is not the only coin affected, every coin in the market is one way or the other affected. So, the reason will surely be channelled towards some sorts of news.
Has it gas always been, media has huge impact and effect on cryptocurrency.
