Holy Sh!t - reading through this bizarre heap of malformed English with little sense to plain out wrong statements, one thing comes to ones mind: Cloaca Maxima Burst needs a proper dev team. it currently has a real co-ordination problem. there is no ceo leading it, its a jumbled mess. Stay away from burst for now folks, and pray that the dev team gets its shit together so we can have a green, fair crypto currency.
nicwenzel, by the time you wrote this shit the PoCC was already active for 6 months in Burst, there was already https://dymaxion.burst.cryptoguru.org/The-Burst-Dymaxion-1.00.pdf white paper. Nowadays we have a meme for "you people": https://i.imgflip.com/2cshku.jpgGuys! We need system like masternodes with rewards! *facepalm* Seriously? We are about 400,000 times more energy efficient than Bitcoin (more give than take) – while offering same or better security (BURST 192bit vs. BTC 128bit), better scalability and better decentralization. With the current price, the cost for one ordinary transaction can go as low as US$0.002 and the cost for a multi-out same transaction can go as low as US$0.0000014. This is micro transaction Sparta! This is important to know: We do have 80 tx/s on-chain, but – given community consensus – we could easily do 1000 tx/s too. “Easily” as in “next day on TestNet” and “within a week on MainNet”. There simply is no need for this at the moment, but we do have that option. More here: https://www.burstcoin.ist/2018/06/23/the-economy-of-scale-next-steps-for-burst/

It's interesting you should mention Burstcoin (the reason why I stumbled across your writeup in the 1st place) as "not quite what you have in mind".
Yet Burstcoin does pretty much what you try to achieve. The common pot you threw PoC and PoS in ("PoC/PoS") also shows little understanding what PoC actually is.
If anything, PoC can be more compared to PoW than to PoS. You could think of it as "condensed PoW" - where you do the PoW once (an act called "plotting") and then use Space to just look up your work.
On average every 4 minutes for ~ 30 seconds. Pretty much of a heart beat.
As for energy efficiency, Burstcoin is currently about 400 000 times (more give than take) more energy efficient than Bitcoin.
Nevertheless, feel free reinventing the toroid at 2h/week pace.

Nxt - Database inconsistent with code, probably trying to run older code on newer database java.lang.RuntimeException: Database inconsistent with code, probably trying to run older code on newer database at nxt.db.mariadb.MariadbDbVersion.update(MariadbDbVersion.java:552) at nxt.db.mariadb.MariadbDbVersion.init(MariadbDbVersion.java:36) at nxt.db.mariadb.MariadbDbs.<init>(MariadbDbs.java:23) at nxt.Nxt$Init.<clinit>(Nxt.java:249) at nxt.Nxt.init(Nxt.java:202) at nxt.Nxt.main(Nxt.java:193)

Leider. Nach 21 Stunden bei mir [INFO] 2018-06-06 09:10:50 brs.BlockchainProcessorImpl - processed block 405000 [INFO] 2018-06-06 09:10:54 brs.statistics.StatisticsManagerImpl - handling 2.22 blocks/s account cache hit ratio now/total:98.89%/98.81% [INFO] 2018-06-06 09:14:28 brs.statistics.StatisticsManagerImpl - handling 2.34 blocks/s account cache hit ratio now/total:98.92%/98.81%

Rico, what is your opinion on this blog by Siacoin's lead developer? Do you think it is possible that some solo miners in Burst are exploiting the time memory trade off "attack" by using ASIC miners on Burst? The State of Cryptocurrency MiningMaybe if after the hard fork to PoC2, we see a significant reduction in total mining capacity, it would be proof that Burst was exploited, no? We analyzed the won blocks in the high scoop range for any suspicious patterns like being won by certain individuals and have found nothing. If someone is using PoW to time-memory trade, he's either hiding it very well or not existing. I don't think anybody is using SHABAL ASICs for that, as the $1M upfront cost (minimum and only in case all went well very fast and on the 1st try) seems not economically viable given the current Burst MktCap.

- Dynamic Fees, Burst Transaktionen ab 0.00735 Burst (bisher immer 1 Burst minimum)
- Multi-Out aka 1:N Transaktionen, nochmalige Erhöhung der Tx-Kapazität (s.u.)

Hi rico666, I have another question that begs an answer.
Some people in the community are maybe under the impression that the PoCC has contacted the exchanges about Burst's pending hard fork. If you already did, then did the exchanges express support for the hard fork and will we be expecting an announcement from them soon? Just double checking lol.
With that said, I saw Bittrex's announcements and support on Syscoin's blockchain 3.0 hard fork and Tron's mainnet launch coin conversion. I am assuming that they will do an announcement about Burst if they support the hard fork.
All relevant exchanges (Polo, Bittrex/Upbit and others) will support the "hard fork". Which technically is a hard fork, but practically an upgrade. As others already mentioned, there will be no 2 new coins. This "Pre-Dymaxion HF" will boost Tx capacity quite significantly (4-40 times depending on Tx types) without putting more strain on blockchain space. E.g. a 40-fold Tx-increase will put only a 3-fold increase on block size (~178KB versus ~49KB) 178KB for 9600 transactions is pretty nice IMHO. -> https://www.burstcoin.ist/2018/04/30/weekly-burst-report-34/World Domination. Fast.
