1  Local / Développement et technique / Re: Comment on peut faire des recherche style sql sur la blockchain? (Ethereum) on: September 08, 2018, 08:30:41 AM
Facilement je ne sais pas mais par "quelque part" je peux déjà te dire que ton point de départ c'est un full node ethereum.
Le plus simple serait que des blockchain explorer sur ethereum te propose ce dont tu as besoin, c'est possible.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DERO: A secure, private blockchain with Smart Contracts. on: January 02, 2018, 02:36:16 PM
How DERO could be a private blockchain when its node implementation is opensource ?
If someone run it it does not connect to your network ?
If it's only for transparency issue well no one can know if you actually run the opensource code.  Huh
3  Local / 한국어 (Korean) / Is there any clouds computer storage that could handle mining ? on: July 31, 2017, 09:18:29 AM
Hello there,

I’m wondering is there is AWS EC2 like services in North Korean to play a little with storage mining pay in KRW.
Are you aware of such services ? Could you provide some example please ?

Many thanks.

If I  understood well, only transactions that are made while hard fork (around 12h pm gmt on August 1st) could never be confirmed. Once forks are separated, everything should be fine again in each fork.

If there is an hardfork, transactions could be nicely separated which makes it clear without messed it up.
If I'm right, only when there is a chain split (which is not hard fork), things could be tricky because at some point one of two branch will just be wipe out by the other which has achieve more computing power/ has the greatest difficulty of POW

Waves is currently stable or even be in a uptrend, given that btc is also clearly on a uptrend that's definitely healthy

Where are the "omg waves sucks" kids now?
Wait until node mainnet release to do that (even if I want to say the same sooo much  Grin)

My thought is that, even if the pump is somehow "control", if it's actually the anticipation of the release then if the pump don't stop until this it will be a skyrocket for suuure.
Guys take a sit and hope for the best !!!

When will WAVES be exchanged in Poloniex.com?

Watch the recent video with Tai Zen.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXo49HfQxu4

Sasha says he has known the guys at Poloniex for 6 years.   So i am 99.9% confident Poloniex will add Waves, i suspect code is not 100% secure or something, probably 99% but poloniex want to make sure things are 100% before they add it. Remember its new code new system, so it has to be well and truly tested.

But it will go to Poloniex, thats for sure.

I don't agree when you said "i suspect code is not 100% secure or something", if it's already deploy you can be sure or at least trust developper that they had test their code again and again. What I understand so far is that poloniex used to implement coin in a specific way and that wait waves to "prepare their code", thing about how to correctly run waves node if I understood.

What was the price at the ICO ? when can I found all those info ? I will take the train in the following days
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin intrinsic value equals Bitcoin's Scripting Language ? on: April 14, 2016, 07:48:23 PM
There are many script instructions that are simply math or stack manipulation that were written for versatility or future use. To eliminate potential bugs and undefined states, some non-money transfer instructions as originally implemented by Satoshi have been disabled. Transactions including them would be invalid, and modified or non-Satoshi clients including them in a block would result in an invalid "fork" block, ignored by the rest of the network.

You can see which instructions are disabled: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Script#Splice
Well, it makes sense ^^ I've notice that some instructions was disable and I asked myself why, now I have the answer, security purpose ^^
But does that imply that we can play with every other instructions and assume It will be verify and accepted by a miner (with the appropriate fee ofc) ?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin intrinsic value equals Bitcoin's Scripting Language ? on: April 14, 2016, 03:12:19 PM
Hello people,

I just started today to get into bitcoin "core system", specially about the "Script" language which permit to insure that transaction are valide.
By this well made video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qz7XehSBCc
The man explain that :
  • there is 5 standard script
  • standard script are the one accepted mostly by miners
  • Others custum homemade script are likely to never be accepted on a block

Which makes me wondering :
  • If transaction script equals "smart contract" and miners don't accept "custom script", Bitcoin intrinsic value is kinda limitated right ?
  • How can we know which miners or pool-mining accept custom script ?
  • Is there a statistique about the acceptance of a custom script ? How calcul that !?
  • Why miners don't accept non standard script !?  Huh
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: linux bitcoind and bitcoind -daemon on: April 14, 2016, 02:55:21 PM
Hello,

bitcoind <- bitcoin deamon = core value of the software (bitcoind -printtoconsole -debug=1)
bitcoin-cli <- bitcoin command line interface = allow you to "query' the blockchain that you had download previously with bitcoind. You must run bitcoind to use this command (obvious ?) (bitcoin-cli getmininginfo)
bitcoin-qt <- Graphical bitcoin software = bitcoind + graphical interface (You can find a graphical console embedded in which you will use bitcoin-cli command)
