1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 28, 2017, 04:56:31 AM
Not at all since bitcoin's market value is volatile that may fall and rise unexpectedly. It is actually a good timing for everyone who plans to invest in bitcoin if its market value will go down because it's really expensive to buy bitcoins now by just looking at the graph.
I am not also surprised if BTC's value went down a bit when BCH's market value was pumped up in the past few days because BTC is known to rise whenever it goes down.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverments to go AGAINST Bitcoin on: November 28, 2017, 04:50:41 AM
In order for the government to go against Bitcoin they will have to ban the whole internet of the country. There are already countries who banned bitcoin other than china, so this is just a normal event on the cryptocurrency world. Also there are some countries already who trusted bitcoin and make it one of their currency, and one of them is Japan, so rest assured, bitcoin will still live and will keeping booming as always and will sooner lead to revolutionary period throughout the world industry. Other factors the government can use to go against BTC is to Ban mining, ICO, Ban exchanges
etc.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: November 28, 2017, 04:40:46 AM
I do not see how can anyone be worried about bitcoin, bitcoin is looking very solid right now, despite all the fud going around the forum in the last weeks the price still hit an all time high and there is still time left in the year for bitcoin to grow even more, the only circumstance that should worry us is if another crash like the one provoked by Mt Gox were to happen again.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hate BCH? on: November 28, 2017, 04:19:23 AM
I have no idea why people hates Bitcoin Cash and I thought why would a large scale miners were shifting from Bitcoin's to Bitcoin Cash and whale traders were trying to pump because they believe in Bitcoin Cash.
Bitcoin is the most valued cryptocurrency today but doesn't mean it's the only cryptocurrency that should be the highest valued coin but every other cryptocurrencies has the right also to pump because that's what cryptocurrency was made for.

is the current market cap 14 millions or? coinmarket cap must be showing this wrongly, because the graph shows increase, but the number decreased recently acually:)

Circulating supply and Total supply are the same, 111,422,038 coins. Coinmarketcap is wrong on the circulating supply number.

http://aschd.org

Top of screen you can see the 111,422,038 and translated to "Total supply quantity"

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH Touch 500$ in new year? on: November 28, 2017, 03:49:28 AM
Temporarily for a short timespan, since it's merely +25% ranging up from $400, that's almost "nothing for crypto". On the other hand this might only happen because of https://techcrunch.com/2017/11/07/a-major-vulnerability-has-frozen-hundreds-of-millions-of-dollars-of-ethereum/ and the frozen wallets affecting several ICOs.
Developers from affected projects might be able to postphone expenditures until situation got solved, than having to recover company funds by market selling ETH.

Learn as much as you can, read everything about bitcoin and altcoins, understand the blockchain technology.
Participate actively in this forum. Ask questions, reply to others and try to build up a higher rank account.
Then you will probably start with bounty campaigns that can (sometimes) pay quite well.
This is really what is needed. There is just so much to learn and skipping any point of learning at some point is what leads some people in making bad decisions.

OP can start from beginners thread as that is one part to start learning a whole lot from about using the best of the forum, understanding what bitcoin is all about and seeing how every opportunity can be utilized. There are so many things to tap from which involves being smart.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel ICOs try to raise too much? on: November 28, 2017, 03:38:30 AM
This is the time of the greed. ETH ICO raised the nice amount of money and also gained the trust of the fellow investors. That particular ICO started a chain of other projects raising funds to cover the expenses of their projects. Many developers in this situations are starting false campaigns that are closed after the end of the ICO shutting the door to investor and scamming everyone involved. There are many scams and many of developers see the easy money that they can gain easy with investors backing their projects. Many of them want too many funds covering not so promising projects and to evade investing in that kind of projects only solution is to make a deep research and invest smartly and with caution.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: November 28, 2017, 02:09:48 AM
The forecast of quotations of the etherium for 2018 allows a twofold increase in the value of the crypto currency. Next year, the etherium course is likely to overcome the $ 1,000 mark, experts predict. However, the digital currency market remains unstable and needs large-scale improvements. As a result, analysts predict a significant level of volatility. An additional factor in the growth of the etherium may be conflict among bitcoin developers, which will affect the behavior of investors.

Despite the rapid growth in the cost of the airspace in 2017, experts note the risks that may lead to a new collapse of quotations. The main risks for the digital currency market remain the unpredictability of speculators, technological problems associated with the rapid growth in the number of users, and changes in the policy of central banks.

My own way to spread knowledge about bitcoin is to do things I usually do with bitcoin and let the people around me know tgat I am using bitcoin. After that I will just easily introduce bitcoin to those who are already interested. If they will start using bitcoins then both of us will learn at the same time and can earn more bitcoins.

Yup this way it's good to go as we will be publishing bitcoin with practical approach. I mean just imagine who wasn't want to enrol into bitcoin if they saw me how easy it is to earn and spend the bitcoin in the marketplace. If I just show someone how I earn money with forum by just posting my knowledge to others and that too weekly basis then they will be amazed by that and will take closer look for sure. Hope so everyone actually engages with this kind of publishing as we might just involve more than enough investors to let bitcoin survive for great prices in the future that to come.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: November 27, 2017, 04:23:48 AM
Why not think about the bitcoin as new fresh start if you started it as newbie. I mean you could always catch up the prices of 8200 dollars as the cost which you saw it for the first time and you never know that it was worth fe dollars in the past. IF you think it that way then I'm sure you will find it nothing. Im suggesting you to get into bitcoin now and see for yourself that this price was nothing in the past when you see it from the future because by that time it would cross 50K nark for sure. This is not a joke but a true instinct that many of the crypto users have got and it will be truth one day. So. better you get in and learn many ways to earn it or trade it.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: November 27, 2017, 04:17:46 AM
China cannot kill bitcoin for just banning cryptocurrency exchanges. it would take more than that to at least break bitcoin talk-less of destroying it.
Bitcoin now show the world what true decentralization means after China. Bitcoin is now fully recovered after all that happened with which, yet on the to set the new all-time high. I can't imagine how bitcoin price will be in the next 5-10 years, regardless of what other people are saying about bitcoin.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) Mobile Lending App Announced (ELIX On CoinExchange) on: November 27, 2017, 04:04:16 AM
Go to the website and read the creation of batches of elix, all the information regardless supply has already been given since the beginning of the project some months ago, the information is there, and has been repeated many times it's not worth telling to people anymore now, you will only get a "read website" answer, which you should do now, there will be an AMA, but those won't be answering about the max supply, the AMA is for questions that are still unanswered, concerns and the state of the project.

How will your tokens gain in value?  What's in it for ICO investors?

It has everything to do with the quantity of invention assets in circulation. As inventions become listed on the blockchain and businesses buy them, there is an increase in price and they must be purchased with LOCIcoin. When they buy the coin from the coin holders, who are ICO investors and inventors, there is an opportunity to increase the value of each coin in a speculative market.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: November 27, 2017, 03:26:18 AM
They're not dying at all but the markets are still extremely volatile at the moment. The recent talk of banning ICO's in various countries hasn't helped and also the input from various high profile bankers. As others have said though do your research fully in any investment and only pay what you can afford to lose. If you are a nervous wreck though when you see a bunch of red arrows you may need to consider investing in something more stable.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: November 27, 2017, 12:31:17 AM
Collateral is a must, and most of the time the offered collateral is the forum account here in bitcointalk. That is why most of the users who can get loan is the higher rank and no newbie can get a loan.
That is why loan is very risky method to earn bitcoin, much better to give loan personally which you know the person who applying and you can chase them if they do not pay.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: November 25, 2017, 01:12:31 AM
There are many reasons for the popularity of bitcoin. It is not easy at all to enumerate all of them. Bitcoin as you said has very stable market and moreover is the very first and old digital currency. The most important factor for its popularity according to me is the increasing price of bitcoin. It is observed that bitcoin is continuously creating new histories by achieving unbelievable targets in price.

Well there is a probability for that to happen but i don't think that it will happen right away. You see bitcoin took a lot of years to be in where it is right now. So i think ethereum will take about a couple of year to take over bitcoin.
But bitcoin is not going to remain static either, in this year many people were predicting that ETH was going to surpass bitcoin in market cap and suddenly out of nowhere bitcoin grew a lot and now there is a huge difference between BTC and ETH and the same may happen again if ETH gets close to bitcoin once again.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: November 25, 2017, 01:04:07 AM
Agree, the last events in Bitcoin forking have shown how much might the miners have. IOTA does not have that centralization of the mining power since mining is distributed in the way that only entities that send transactions have to do PoW for two transactions.

Also you never know then China is prohibiting Bitcoin mining. There are rumors about. It would hit Bitcoin and other PoW coins very hard.
