121  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-E Nonce Generation on: November 10, 2014, 04:45:36 PM
We are having problem with this exact issue. Does anyone have a more comprehensive tutorial on how to communicate with the BTC-E API without getting the following response every time:

{success=0, error=invalid nonce parameter; on key:0, you sent:'', you should send:1}
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks that allow Bitcoin business? on: September 12, 2014, 03:13:58 PM
Yeah I knew about Fidor, and so does everyone else. If that bank for some reason changes its mind, then what? All Bitcoin business are bust? We need at least 10+ banks to keep floating.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Banks that allow Bitcoin business? on: September 12, 2014, 12:50:59 PM
With the myriad of Bitcoin exchanges out there, there must be quite a large amount of bank allowing Bitcoin companies to operate. Does anyone have any substantial list of what banks are friendly towards Bitcoin?
124  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nice website, visit and like it ;-) - thebitcoinpage.com on: September 10, 2014, 03:55:13 PM
If you keep this up to date and keep adding relevant links and statistics and in general make sure this keeps growing the website is definitely on the bookmark list.
125  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Could I somehow use Bitcoin as a value checker? on: September 08, 2014, 04:35:47 PM
Say that I have 3 values. We call those 3 values X, Y and Z.

My 3 values go up and down every day based on manipulation from third party services. The values get added to and subtracted from all the time.

Instead of writing a verification system to keep my values in check from abuse, can I somehow use the Bitcoin protocol to save my values in real time?

Mind you, I am not talking about buying Bitcoin here, or converting my values to Bitcoin, but simply use Bitcoin as a point of verification to make sure that if my values are manipulated, then I have a timestamped storage of what X, Y and Z was at a given time.

128  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: bitcoind-ncurses: Terminal front-end for bitcoind on: July 13, 2014, 08:10:12 PM
This is a pretty good project and certainly helps those of us that use BitcoinD and would like a better overview of things. Nice work, very nice work actually!
129  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How would something like this work in mining? on: June 27, 2014, 09:51:04 PM
But cant a chip like this one, be made into an ASIC version, yet keep doing what it does the way it does it? Its not based on the von Neumann bottleneck, so it should get to the solution differently (faster?)
130  Bitcoin / Mining / How would something like this work in mining? on: June 27, 2014, 09:21:52 PM
I cant say I am a hardware engineer or even come close to understanding how to approach to solve double SHA256 via ASIC processors or the like. While I have mined myself, I am a novice in regards to hardware and its architecture.

However this: http://cognimem.com/ just poses the question of, how it would do in Bitcoin mining (giving the correct software was made for it)? Would love to hear from an expert how and if something like this would be beneficial for mining? Or is it a dead end completely?
131  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Myth: the Payment Protocol is bad for privacy on: June 02, 2014, 09:12:58 AM
I dont get it, how does X.509 give us issues with anonymity piotr_n?

You dont really define what the central authority is and what data that central authority retains due to X.509 being implemented in Bitcoin. At least make your case solid by explaining the problem in details instead of screaming out with a tin foil hat on your head.
132  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Bitcoin merchant script on: May 20, 2014, 08:47:38 AM
Yes, I certainly can. What I would like it to do is:

- Be able to allow merchants to signup and gain access to API's and tools (plugins) so that they may accept Bitcoin on their website/shop
- Be able to login to admin panel and view all these users and administrate the accounts. Full admin panel basically.
- Give a best BTC/USD or BTC/EUR or BTC/Fiat price upon customers clients checking out (robot that checks price via exchanges) engine
- Give them the ability to take the money out in fiat as well as BTC

To answer your second question: Yes, we do have banks we work together with and that we rely on. We furthermore have a large sum of money in deposits. To be honest, my problem has been finding developers that I can take seriously, and are not either complete scammers or live in a fantasy world thinking they can code this.
133  Economy / Services / Hiring developers! - 15.000$ budget (can be extended) on: May 19, 2014, 10:52:17 PM
I am looking for very experienced developers that can prove the work they have done. I am looking for people to make a Bitcoin merchant a client of mine. If you are skilled in working with Bitcoin, please feel free to get in touch with me on PM. Only serious offers though.
134  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Bitcoin merchant script on: May 19, 2014, 10:47:20 PM
I would like to buy a ready made Bitcoin merchant script that has already proven to work in a live environment. My budget is as high as 15.000$. I am looking for something similar or as close to Bitpay as I can find. If anyone can develop such or has code for such, I would be interested in talking. Only serious offers please. Any scammers that cannot prove concept will not see one BTC
135  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Want to buy a merchant gateway script on: March 27, 2014, 02:13:37 PM
Bitfreak is a person on this board?
136  Bitcoin / Project Development / Want to buy a merchant gateway script on: March 25, 2014, 12:18:32 PM
I am looking for a fully custom working merchant gateway script and I am willing to pay top dollar for getting the code. If anyone sits on code that handles transactions in Bitcoin, please feel free to hit me up.
137  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Opensource Bitcoin implementation of a gateway? on: March 24, 2014, 04:00:28 PM
I know of Bitpay, Coinbase etc. But are there no open source gateway scripts that already have all the code done when it comes to handling the Bitcoin daemon and connecting to the block-chain? It seems weird that an open source project has no open source implementation of a gateway script for those that would like to run their own Bitcoin payment service on their websites outside of commercial companies such as Bitpay.

139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Satoshi on: March 06, 2014, 09:53:24 PM
So, moving the very first coins that were created wont cause suspicions?

Especially now?

that's assuming Satoshi has only one BTC wallet address.

I'd be up for helping Satoshi, if Satoshi needs help, although if this guy is the THE Satoshi, he may or may not need/want our help in a public way.  He's not a criminal, has done nothing illegal and is sitting on a mountain of money.

All he needs to do is what anyone needs to do when the wolves are at the door and you're plenty liquid.  Get a good legal team and beat the crap out of them.  Sue the shit out of everyone for every damn thing you can think of until they get tired of it and go away.

If he wants/needs our help he can let us know.  He started the forum, after all, so he's got to be smart enough to come here and know he has support if he wants it.  There are plenty of people here, I know, that would step up and help this guy if he needs it.

IF and that is a big IF he is the real Satoshi Nakamoto. But he most likely is NOT, and now we have a fame craving journalist bitch that puts this poor old mans live in great risk. How many hear could actually think straight if the whole god damn world wrote about your entire life, family and pretty much made you famous overnight because of some retarded person that calls herself a journalist. Just look here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1zqp2i/if_you_believe_the_report_about_satoshi_nakamotos/

THIS IS NOT OUR SATOSHI NAKAMTO! Its an old man, that is sick, had a stroke and is in danger of dying. The stress alone inflicted by this whore is enough to kill an athlete in his prime.
140  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Cannot catch up with the blockchain - block download too slow on: February 21, 2014, 04:01:26 PM
I am actually afraid my problem is something completely different. I think I am affected by this: http://arstechnica.com/security/2014/02/dear-asus-router-user-youve-been-pwned-thanks-to-easily-exploited-flaw/

For some reason, pre installing the upgrade, it was running like this yesterday (slow). After upgrade, it raw flawless. Then I noticed that some dude on the Ars comments pointed to this (the last comment in the Ars article): http://dnlongen.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/breaking-down-asus-router-bug.html

I then did the manual software upgrade on my router, and I was back to my insanely slow speeds (which is weird). All this happened real time, and the speeds triggers in the Bitcoin block download happened the same moment software upgrades happened. From slow to fast and then back to slow after applying the manual patch.

I need to check this on another network for sure, to finally get a full picture of the situation. But it would not surprise me these router attacks affect Bitcoin. Thats what all attacks are about these days, no?
