1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk's Tweets... on: March 03, 2021, 12:24:39 PM
one of the biggest investors in the crypto world his influence is very significant in the world of crypto maybe because he has a lot of money to invest and can manage the market conditions When Elon Musk makes positive and negative tweets it must be very influential so I personally stick with the flow if elon musk makes a positive tweet about a coin i buy it right away

Who would've thought that the world's top richest man in the world known as Elon Musk was now a part of the community and now was already an investor of cryptocurrency? He is indeed an influential man that whatsoever he would going to shill will definitely goes trending and yeah, the soaring of DOGE was a living proof about it. It's just hard to read between the lines if his intention of shilling DOGE was a to seriously promoting it or he did it for meme only.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get mad when the price of your cryptos go higher after you have sold on: March 03, 2021, 10:28:14 AM
Everyone has experienced something like that, but there are some people who can go through it. if that happens to me, I will improve my trading plan, I will see the chart and the moving average price at that time. and looking for news about crypto. I am looking for momentum to buy, and determine at what price I should sell

Because no one had made a perfect prediction when it comes to cryptocurrency. At the same time, there is no reason for us to get mad when after we have sold that crypto coin the price gets higher than the price when we have sold it because we have a reason why at that price we sold our crypto coin. And i guess it was enough to justify why at that certain value we decided to sold it, sometimes it is due to the call of necessity and so on.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't be used for transactions? on: February 28, 2021, 03:26:51 PM
Why not? Bitcoin can be used for making transaction for sending funds to others as payment or other purposes. I believe that you send your crypto funds to others to make it cash. By following this way, you can send it as making transaction and you can send it anywhere in the world. So no hassle there as I think.

Bitcoin could be used in any transaction if ever the company, or the person he/she were going to transact with are okay with it. It should be mutual decision in both parties especially today which there is no third party that will interconnect with the two main concern of transactions like in real businesses, the remittance center or the exchanger where available on their area or where does both parties could easily access with.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currently i am quit from market and come in 2024 on: February 28, 2021, 02:47:15 PM
The price of bitcoin is falling now so even altcoins in the coinmarket are affected by the fall in the price of bitcoin so for me this is the time to buy altcoins with potential and longterm I am sorry for your statement but if you buy bitcoin and altcoins now and leave it for 3 years I'm sure you will make a big profit.

With Bitcoin yes as it's been test by time, while with Alts not sure unless you sort it up.

Investing with project with solid foundation which in the long run ill bring you pure development and real usages,
from that event you'll find yourself harvesting the profits that those coins will give you 3 years is long enough to see
which project aside from Bitcoin that will flourished and gained huge benefits.

I guess OP's decision to leave and take all the profit that he/she can have as long as the bitcoin market just don't dropped it's market value in its lowest then it is what he/she thinks is the best decision he/she could ever made  to spare from the huge lose ahead. We couldn't question his/her decision coz we all have our own percerption when it comes to the current situation of bitcoin market value. So far, i'm still hoping for a good market feedback despite of price dropped happened.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2021, 01:59:12 PM
A loan to buy a cryptocurrency is not the best solution. I would even say that this is a crime against risk management. However, this can be done by following certain safety rules.
1. Borrow only the amount that you can pay off without any problems, even if you lose all your bitcoins.
2. As soon as after the purchase the value doubles, sell half of your bitcoins and repay the loan.

At some instances of life where some of our colleagues couldn't afford to buy or have their own kind of bitcoin right away then this could be their best way to have it, taking a loan to buy bitcoin. But in my own opinion it isn't the best solution since i am afraid to the mere fact that this was a total taking of risk. I am afraid to the fact that it can be lost with just a glimpse. I didn't mean that taking a loan for the sake of bitcoin wasn't worth it, but i guess it should take seriously, should need a wise decision.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 28, 2021, 01:02:01 PM
I have been watching NBA since I was a kid but there is one thing I had learned. Everything will change in just a manner of time.
Players, rosters, coach, management and trades.
Also the outcome of a game can change so fast in NBA that you won't believe. I was watching a game recently between Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets where it looked like in the last minute like GSW will win and the worst case scenario would be a tied game for them but things turned as green lost his cool and got a foul which then lead the Hornets winning in the regulation by 102-100 I think was the end score. There was controversy and some thought referees were at fault.

But what we must know from such incidents is that a game can change within moments of such brain fade by a player and even under normal circumstances I have seen teams comeback from 10+ deficit within the last quarter itself so betting on underdogs is a good idea in sports and leagues like NBA.

I am also an avid fan of NBA and i know that every NBA fan have their own favourite teams and definitely were happy to watch everytime that their favourite team are on court. But i do agree, and one thing for sure happened that i have observed while watching was that the quality of game of the player even they are known as the ultimate basketball player were not consistent all through out. Though its a big factor that you have already know the capability and potential of the players and the team when it comes to sports betting but that doesn't give a 100% assurance.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Better than before on: February 27, 2021, 09:59:00 PM
Do you think guys, the market we have right now is better than the market we had 4-5 years ago? Is the bull run/pump that we have are better compare to 4-5 years ago? I can't fully quantify the data/graphs because of the complexity and complicated market situation. Maybe in top coins it is obvious that the market is better than before but how about the altcoins.

I must say yes we have been witnessed the continuous rising of bitcoin from the first mknth of this year up to the third week of this month, and here the price correction comes and we are now dealing with it. It is somewhat a better than before because i remember seeing the continuous downfall of bitcoin price in the market after the most awaited celebration to end and to start the year wayback 2017-2018. But as what we also been witnessed, altcoins are following the trend of bitcoin, which i didn't observed on the past what have been happened to altcoins way back then.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your predictions for the next Alt to pump after what happened to Doge? on: February 27, 2021, 09:05:56 PM
That's a bad idea. I don't want to follow what influencers said, some of them endorsing the product, they don't real of enthusiasm, same as scheme pump and dump of telegram. for smart people use the technical analysis price, don't buy the coins when marketing said, I don't believe McAfee and another influencer.

and Elon, they only tweet doge for fun.

Well i would disagree on the idea of following those influential people as always whenever they are shilling for a certain altcoin. In some other way, if we will consider the high price hike of DOGE that was happened because of shilling of Elon Musk and by just tweeting by him which i bet even him only did an experiment if he can attract many traders of DoGE by using it in his social media wasn't also bad. But as i have said, i guess he was also experimenting that time to check how influential he is, and yeah he was proven it already by giving DOGE a 400% price increase.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will ETH be worth ten years from now? on: February 27, 2021, 08:21:11 PM
I think, within the world of the cryptocurrency anything can happen, the ups, and downs of a coin depend on the showcase, in the event that the showcase request increments, of the course the cost will go up, as well as ETH, in case devotees or dealers require a parcel of the supply, of the course the cost of ETH will hop tall , I think deciding the esteem of the eth for long haul am exceptionally troublesome, but my theory is that ETH exact prediction is hard but it can say that will rise 10x times or more.

The last time i checked the market value of ethereum were at $1,200 and it is higher enough compared to the time i remembered its value when i first landed here in this platform and getting know more about cryptocurrencies. It's market value didn't flactuate that much unlike bitcoin but all i can say that Ethereum were more better than any kind of altcoins. For any reason, i guess predicting a 10x higher of etherem price today ten years from now were justifiable but we couldn't know what will going to happen in ethereum next, because remember it is still a cryptocurrency, a volatile currency and unpredictable.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it really a benefit that nobody controls the price? on: February 27, 2021, 03:05:40 PM

Nope, Bitcoin price does not fluctuate because of a big number of people trading back and forth between altcoins and BTC. Bitcoin is so volatile because it is a pretty new asset class and investors are not accustomed to. They don't know how to evaluate it so the price moves mainly due to speculation. Nowadays we see big companies like Tesla and Microstrategy hoarding BTC as a hedge against fiat and for capital appreciation.  This trend could change the violent moves of BTC especially on the downside.

Another factor is the low liquidity in the markets. Institutions with deep pockets cannot get their hands on BTC yet, but only with very low amounts that do not impact their yearly performance significantly. That's why you see investment funds like Blackrock only "dabbling" with Bitcoin - because they don't want the market to get in a buying frenzy, at least not yet.

Let's not forget the law that plays the market of bitcoin or even in any kind of business in real life the "law of supply and demand". We are so delighted that we becoming a huge number of traders but on the other hand, the more that we increase in number especially the new joiner to our number are whales who can afford to avail as much bitcoin as they want, expect that the market value may vary accordingly. Bitcoin were made in a limited amount, and if the supply of bitcoin in the market has shortage it will definitely give an increase variation of market value and otherwise to the abundant supply of bitcoin.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: February 27, 2021, 01:55:49 PM
Every trader usually waiting for it, everyone believes that it is a good sign to invest or buy more once bitcoin and altcoins are dumping. Once the price is dumping, I also used to buy more and hodl it until the season of bull run comes, that's why it is good to have a target price to sell, to earn more profits.

Count me on to those who are waiting for a price correction but i didn't waited for a bitcoin to dump like what have been happened way back 2017. Every trader were literally waiting for a price correction especially those who are aiming to buy bitcoin. And i guess the bitcoin's market value of $45000 if a trader could afford were not bad to consider as a good timing to buy. However, to those who are still waiting for a lower price correction than it i guess it may take time to wait or maybe it shouldn't happen anyway.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First crypto Bank in the world on: February 26, 2021, 04:16:31 PM
im not indian but i find this great and my salute to the indian country because no matter how the complicated the status of crypto in thier place they still end up with a plan like this  whilst ours and other countrys that have a normal status of crypto didnt have the courage or they havent think of this idea but its nice that you posted this because they may get a glimpse of this and also may start thier own . cant wait for this to happen but for now i think ill continue stacking sats and btc so that when that moment comes when we have a btc bank i have lots of funds to store in it Wink

I do already have suspicions that one day we will going to have a crypto Bank, and finally it went on reality however i didn't expect that it would be risen first on India for I am expecting that it would be materialize first in the US country or somewhere Americas or Japan. However, whether where it were built or risen this was still a good news for the crypto world. It doesn't matter anyway where it was, and i do hope that each country could also have a crypto Bank already in future.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the Key on: February 26, 2021, 03:30:13 PM
I Has Been Wins Against the Market
I've succeeded to sell my cryptocurrency at a big profit
I'm hold 4-5 years, now only have NXT, XRP

Important lessons that can be taken:
Patience is the Key

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5099918.msg49331794#msg49331794

THANK YOU,

Its nice to hear such an inspiring and a successful selling of cryptocurrency. Of course the one who have a patience and look for a positivity of a coin that they are holding and will going to sell always have the possibility to harvest a good and prosperous basket of fruits. There is no such formula that need to be followed to become a successful trader but patience will always a virtue. For me, there is no need to be always in hurry when it comes to selling our crypto coin not unless you're in total need and need to sell that coin right away, but if not, better to stay it in you hard wallet while waiting for a amount that you think enough for you.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: February 26, 2021, 02:56:58 PM
Hurry has lead many traders to failure because many of them never took their time to find out the really information concerning the market pump before selling their coins. I don't rush when other traders are rushing to supply in the market because it has reduced so many traders to zero level in the profit making.
It is good to watch the market price very well before releasing your coins to market which will really help you as a trader to achieve something good from your investment.

If we feel having our uncertainties when it comes to buying or selling our coin at that certain moment or certain amount, i guess we should take time to analyze properly why are we feel that way. It is true that being in a hurry has lead to failure in many ways. We should take time to think deep and think twice to be in a hurry if we have a certain period that need to meet, coz if there's not, i would say that life in cryptocurrency especially in trading while on your top priority was to earn a profit then it shouldn't be take it easy and hurry.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will satoshi make a altcoin, giving us a second chance to get rich? on: February 26, 2021, 02:03:50 PM
For sure people will no doubt to transfer into that coin knowing that Bitcoin's creator did make some coins which is better than btc or version of it which means it do
shows about the death of bitcoin in that case and its really impossible to think of it even if we are saying about "what if's" on here.
Making rich is someones own action and it isnt a responsibility to those who do create coins or satoshi himself. Be wise if you do like to get
rich and dont presume out that devs/creators will really be making that kind of offer or opportunity for you.

Maybe if Satoshi will going to create an altcoin it would have a different characteristics kind of cryptocurrency compare to bitcoin. He wouldn't make or create a kind of altcoin that would be superior than bitcoin right. It maybe below to what bitcoins standard has. But on the other side i didn't think so that he would create another one in case because if i were him i would definitely focus to bitcojn today due to high demand on the society.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: February 26, 2021, 01:08:27 PM
~ Being a good manager is the key for sucess in financial life, having fun, but not neglecting the responsabilities at same time. And it's totally achievable even through signature campaign earnings, depending where you live.

Yeah, for some people, especially for young people, managing their sig campaign earnings can be a good practice for managing their finances in the future: one part you invest(in our case you just hold a part of your earned BTC), another part you spend on necessities, and another part you spend on entertainment.

I always dream to know more about wise spending and proper managing of my earned profit here in signature campaign which i am dreaming also to save and alot even a quarter portion of my earning to stake or to gamble. Of course i always set on top of my priority to save for my future needs but then not that as much because i'd also have needs to meet, and not also mine but on our family. For now i am saving for future gambling of mine, which i suppose need a proper allotment.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: February 25, 2021, 05:29:58 PM
It's still not quite right to say bearish because bitcoin is currently struggling at $ 50k and I think this is just a short correction and we'll see the movement after that, I just think that when bearish happens then the decline must continue, but it's still struggling.

I think that altcoin is still a bit corrected as well and how it will push forward depends on the significant movement of bitcoin, but we must know that this influence will not be long. I believe in what is happening now bitcoin will experience a bullrun after this.
That means it's not really bearish.

I bet that the price correction happened was not a basis to simplify the bull run is over. I bet that this might only a price correction and anytime soon may hit back to gain its past market value. As of now, since price correction takes place, it is the right time for an investor to invest in bitcoin if and only if they could afford to buy bitcoin at the amount of $ 45000 because for me, if i were going to ask, this price correction was too high to avail or invest in such kind of amount.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much lower you think BTC can go in this drop ? on: February 25, 2021, 04:41:59 PM
In fact, when a correction occurs, all traders will be confused waiting for the price to be on target or take positions when there was a correction yesterday. we see bitcoin will experience correction again. If I had said yesterday that the price of bitcoin would not exceed $ 50,000, it turns out that my expectations were wrong, and it was under $ 50,000 a few moments later it stagnated. So there's an intrinsic factor that has recently fueled the saturation of the bitcoin market. Apart from political and strategic movements in America, we have seen a lot of ridicule and trying to bring down the price of bitcoin.

I do believe that what happening on the market value of bitcoin today was only a price correction, however i am also doubting of how much lower does it would goes on. I am hoping that this might only take on a range of $40000-$43000. Honestly, i don't have any idea why all of a sudden price decreases at this point. But to be honest if i am going to wait for a price correction like this and would going to buy, i guess i would wait for a much lower value of bitcoin than this.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end the dollar’s reign? on: February 25, 2021, 03:38:01 PM
Bitcoin can not end any currency, since bitcoin is as yet very little famous among us. Half of the world doesn't know what actually bitcoins is and those who know about bitcoin accuse it of a scam. Also, how would we purchase bitcoin if the cash gets end?. We won't be able to exchange. For me, dollars or any cash ought not to end. It might make a few issues and hurt the bitcoin itself as well.

As i have also bet so, bitcoin do have its own significance in an area where it belongs but that doesn't mean that it will surpass or worst end the dollar's reign because dollar still a fiat currency. Though we couldn't predict when the dominance of dollar currency in the world market would lasts but still dollar was a fiat currency and it also excell in an are where it belongs. Maybe bitcoin could become one of the currency exists in the world hopefully.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who controls the bitcoin price? on: February 24, 2021, 10:57:24 PM
I know demand and scarcity plays some important role but I think btc price has a central point of control like the whales and wall street perhaps,
If price is truly controlled by demand and scarcity then why do we experience dump or bear season, does that mean people don't demand btc anymore or btc is no longer scarce?

Whales and wall street do plays a vital role when it comes to the bitcoin price movements and in fact people or community of bitcoin who believes in it, patronizing it, investing and trading it are one of the reason why bitcoin price are sometimes on ceiling and sometimes on floor kind of price. At the end of the day this bitcoin market value wouldn't move on its own if there were no people using it right.
