61  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GCash is planning to add cryptocurrencies! on: August 11, 2021, 04:09:41 PM
62  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GCash is planning to add cryptocurrencies! on: August 10, 2021, 05:35:58 PM

The firm had 46 million registered users as of July 2021, with 2.5 million merchants and social sellers, up to 15 million daily log-ins, and up to 10 million daily transactions.

2021 on: August 06, 2021, 05:01:37 PM
As of now, nasa $42K+ na ito.

2. Ever since magkaroon ng bad reputation ang pilipinas due to scams eh humina ang activity dito. Atska most of the users here I know, ay busy na din lalo na ngayon may AXIE, I have my own Group in Telegram na para sa mga trusted users, and majority of them are playing Axie Infinity.

66  Other / Archival / Re: Question to Merit Sources on: July 22, 2021, 10:49:38 PM
But I would like to hear other opinions on this matter. Opinions of others merit sources. How often do you use the ignore button and do you use it at all? After all, if you ignore active users that you do not like, you cannot evaluate their posts, which means that your objectivity is no longer so objective ... or not?
Yes, I Do, and When Needed, I don't really have a list, I just hit the button whenever I feel like doing so.
Lastly, that's the reason why we have a number of sources all over the place, If you are already ignored then I do not care at your post anymore, even if those are contructive ones, I am not capable of giving you any. My Smerits, My Rule.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 22, 2021, 10:36:08 PM

some fighting games for instance but playing axie already had an element of playing a gambling because you need capital to get started and you are using your skill and maybe some luck to win and earn cryptos in the game . bringing the game into esports can make the game more trendy tho which is good for the game developer and to the investors  .

Axie Infinity has a huge success in blockchain gaming and they are so popular now in the gaming industry, they are already sustainable and wants to sustain their success by adding esports events, I think that will be good for the Axie community, it's another way to make a profit on both sides, but I doubt if Axie management wants to be classified to be totally gambling sites because they are catering to all ages.

This is not about Axie being acknowledge as a Gambling Site lol, I think you haven't gone into ESports Betting yet. Kindly re read the topic and notify me if its not clear.
Btw, its nearly impossible to consider that as a gambling game lol, as its features are almost just like a kid's game.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 22, 2021, 05:48:45 AM
What the subject means is, Axie is planning to take the game to a higher level by dedicating servers to their future E-sports events. The gambling part is like the common and usual betting on other games on E-sports. To explain it literally, the community will place a bet on bookies.
Now the question is, if the possibilities comes over soon, which platform would be the first to add Axie Infinity on their lists.  Cheesy Cool

Axie or any game is not responsible if youngsters will be involved in gambling. That discussion is out of context. Regardless of any games, those youngsters will encounter, they will learn to gamble in different ways.
and besides we're on the internet, no one can tell whether you are a kid or not.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 21, 2021, 11:29:32 PM
Future betting is possible but I wonder what would be the criteria of choosing Axie participants? We all know that Axis has different characteristics and there are users who successfully breed good ones. Even it's a strategy-based game, a good set of skills has the advantage.

But before that plan, they should fix first all the problems and bugs for smooth gameplay. Smiley I know they can work on it as they should but for how long they will achieve close to at least 90% to 100% smooth gameplay experience either on PC or mobile, we don't know.
Knowing that this game is still in its alpha stages as of this moment, problems like this will definitely occur like overloaded server and the like. Even I can't play either the adventure or the arena  Cry

Anyway Axie Infinity will host some Esports events in the future so maybe some online gambling sites might consider adding this but I think they should prioritizing first the current problems that they are facing but overall, seeing this at Esports is already good and you can already see a good future within the game. Still early to tell though if gambling will be added on AI but maybe it will.
If you have a Laptop or PC , play there as it goes smoothly just a few hours ago, everything goes fine already, if you still have issues reinstall both MAVIS and AXIE app, that'll fix the issue as it fixed mine earlier and been playing non-stop up until now.

~
It had been mentioned that e-sports would really be on different server which means that it wont really be overloading out or adding on the current server that it had on this moment.

Possible for gambling but its too early to say since there would be lots will really be needed to be arranged on before going into this thing.
If that's the case then we really might see some gamblers out there making side bets as there is no official betting for this yet, right?
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 21, 2021, 11:25:39 PM
As we all know ESports has been one of the features of Online Gambling, and recently Axie Infinity had announced the Upcoming ESports Events.
~
Will this be the path that might lead to Gambling?
Still early to tell because Axie infinity is still on early phase and there are still lots of things to be implied on and now that they have current server issues or lag then its better that they one they should focus
on rather than on esports but it would really be good to look at if this one will really push through but for now it wont really matter much.
yeah, still early but the fact that the community is going big in just a short time, possibilities that it will happen soon is pretty high (IMO), and the issues has been fixed, we can already play smoothly on PC just now that is, ha!

Im seeing this to be applied on next year or on Q1 of 2022. This game is play to earn and gambling through fighting those axies? Still in question on how could it be done.
yeah I think?, besides that's how it was.

@Trainers

Hello Esports fans!

Today we are announcing that Sky Mavis is deploying a dedicated server for Axie esports while we work on scaling our primary game servers.

The server is target to be live at the end of the month, and to support this roll out, we are committing 5,000 AXS ($145,450) from the play- to-earn allocation pool in prize money for community tournaments taking place this year.

We are accepting event proposals from July 15th - July 29th from community tournament organizers and will publish a schedule for the rest of the year, after approving select events.

We will review all of the event proposals submitted by August 6th, 2021 with the goal of coming up with a master schedule for the next four months.

Our team is hoping to schedule about 10 events during this four month period, with the goal of spreading the AXS across multiple regions and skill-levels.

Please see all of the information here:
https://axie.substack.com/p/axieesports

P.S. There’s a leek inside!

Will this be the path that might lead to Gambling?
72  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange won't release bitcoins unless I verify identity. Advice appreciated. on: July 21, 2021, 03:08:11 AM
Hey mods, if I'm posting at the wrong place, please move this to the right section. Thanks.

Anyway, I deposited about $1000 worth of bitcoins on Paxful when ID verification wasn't required, but now Paxful won't let me withdraw unless I go through ID verification. Because I don't want to hand over my ID, my bitcoins are stuck.

I've spoken to a lawyer who suggested I get a lawyer in New York (where Paxful is based) if I really want to take it to small-claims court, and I want to hold off on suing for now because people here might have easier solutions. If anyone has any ideas, please help me out. Thanks.

My Only suggestion is to go through the ID Verification, as this is for the security purposes, and afaik you are at the limit of transaction which had to do KYC.
BTW, I'm with Paxful and Currently handling USA and South African Communities. Reach out to me if needed. Else, if you still insist on going through without it then sad to say you can't get the funds whatever means you take
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Anyone Who Still into SOVRYN? on: July 19, 2021, 04:10:08 PM

74  Other / Meta / Re: NFT Board Soon? on: July 19, 2021, 03:47:31 PM
There's already existing thread with same discussion and the answer is no since NFT could be placed on Altcoins board depends of the discussion itself whether it's ANN or Bounty etc Why not an NFT section ?
Kindly give me the link so I can just read them, I was out for a long time so not updated here in META lol.
Edit: didn't notice there was a link on your reply lol.
Edit 2: Man, that was freakin' a long time ago! Tongue anyways thanks!  , I think I'll leave this be as the NFTs are a bit hot today
I still do not know why people are attracted to NFTs
I personally don't care much about NFT art and that stuff, but gaming is one of the industries where I can see NFT playing an important part.

As a gamer for more than a 30 years (and some of the games I played at very competitive level and made decent amount of money with it) I see enourmous potential in that combo, even though current attempts were mostly fail as they focused more on crypto traders and speculators instead on gamers, but that will change soon. Add on that the fact that gaming is by far the biggest  of all the entertainment industries with a huge room for growth, I expect  NFT & Gaming to be a pretty much standard thing in the future.

With all this being said, I don't think that NFT needs separate board, it's fine as it is.
Would you think most of the NEW Company will use these NFTs now? as you can see due to the demand that Axie Infinity has caught there are kinda a number of new Games has been created. Would you also think the other online games will perish?
75  Other / Meta / NFT Board Soon? on: July 19, 2021, 01:20:13 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do think NFTs aren't considered on ALTCOINS right?
so if time comes, will we be expecting a New Sub-Board here for NFTs? or leave it be on the ALTCOIN Discussion?
 Huh Huh Huh
76  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: XNC - Xian Coin says Goodbye??? on: July 19, 2021, 01:17:43 PM
Muhkang Target ni Xian ang mga Gaming ngayon like Axie, nagpost na din sya about Binamon. Parang yung loob ko eh nakampante ng bahagya na hindi ako nakapagpasok ng pera sa kanya, buti at inuna ko ung emergency situation that time instead of investing to XNC, Thankful ako ngayon lol,...
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: July 18, 2021, 02:02:33 AM
yes of course we can live without bitcoin but many people changed their lives because of it. Bitcoin is not just for transactions, we can also earn from it because of the volatility that's why people like bitcoin. I don't want to quit doing bitcoin because it's an opportunity to make money.
the fact that it's just a currency yes, it's true, and yeah, you are quite right about it.
It already changed so many lives up until now, even me I was able to afford meals that I really can't from the past lol.
Seriously, if crypto and Bitcoin wasn't there I won't on my place right now.

I just saw this thread and it caught my nterest, so I'll just leave one of my random thoughts here,...

It ain't gonna attract more users, as for the better one is still here in this current forum, much user-friendly IMO. And I also don't think the New Forum will get much exposure that this old one, If I were to choose, I'd better stay here

79  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / XNC - Xian Coin says Goodbye??? on: July 17, 2021, 04:12:50 PM
After makapasok ng bahagya sa Crypto "daw" ay napagtanto nya na isang investment scam and XN, so pano kaya ang mangyayari sa mga naghold? And for the rest na sinabing for illegal activity usage and coin nya para kumita?

Nasa Ibaba ang Pahayag ni Xian Gaza...

Quote

After experiencing cryptocurrency trading for the very first time in my entire life, I therefore conclude na isang "crypto scam" ang Xian Coin... from the point of view of crypto enthusiasts and crypto traders.

Now I fully undestand everything. Xian Coin (XNC) is a clear investment scam sa industriya ng cryptocurrency.

Instead of using ERC-20 Token, dapat ang ginamit ko pala ay stock certificates. Why? Because from the very start, Xian Coin was meant to be a crowdfunding campaign for my businesses and group of companies. An asset-backed investment that will grow over time. With that said, eh bakit ko ginawang centralized digital currency?

It was a very impulsive decision. Nagkamali ako.

I would like to grab this opportunity to humbly apologize to the entire crypto community of the Philippines.

Effective September 2021, "XIAN COIN HOLDINGS" shall be legally registered as a limited company in the Kingdom of Thailand. One (1) Xian Coin is equivalent to one (1) share.

To God be all the Glory.
