That's OK but what is volume exactly? If only 704 USD traded in 24 hours over a 2M USD cap then how can it pump the value of the coin by more than 1.5x?
Because the pump that is being shown here is for 24 hours only. When we say volume has risen by 166% for 24 hours then it is in regards to a day before prices. The graph tells us that one day before this pump occurred the volume was down to 166%. The initial value was less than 166% than the current volume. Its easy to pump that high because the value of the coin is already very less, plus the market of 2 M is almost nothing and can be manipulated with tiny factions like 700 bucks here. Also, the circulating supply is very low here. This means with 700 bucks more demand was created while supply being less it pumped lot. Thanks for the detailed explanation and sorry to say that but i still don't completely get it. At 1.000.000 USD market cap how a 700 USD difference can pump the price by 166% and the market cap to 2.000.000? I know market capitalization is not market depth but even then it seems way off to me. And that 700 USD is not even neccessarily buys but it sums the amount of the entire circulation, right? Like 350 sells and 350 buys?

I haven't checked the situation for a while (months). What is the current status? It looks like they are enabling coins one by one. Did anyone succeed in withdrawing any coins?
it's dead.. all it's lost Sounds good. So the withdrawal enables were fake?

I just checked the top gainers in the last 24 hours and found this: BelugaPay gained 166% in 24h with almost 2M USD market cap by a volume of 704 USD. How? Probably i don't understand what volume is and how it is calculated. I'd be pleased if someone could shed a light on this.

yeah if you find the exit wallet you can point it to a hot wallet. like mtgox. So no exchange accept that coins. but it is very difficult to find these wallets... BTC ->> XMR and done

Posting here for the first time to contribute to this discussion. The following is my BTC deposit address for coinsmarkets https://blockchain.info/address/1HbNphYZ9nV49QmWVD9P4XAJqCxQZaze4aAs of yesterday it appears that they decided to withdraw a small amount of BTC. Not sure what to make of this, but could potentially point to the exit finally occurring. Would like to know if other people have seen withdraws occurring on their BTC deposit addresses as well. It appears to me that they are forward all their profits into the following address https://blockchain.info/address/1C49cQ6hxQhsr6dpBEWPEjmTAR6jQqQtFzbut not sure. From here it looks like they have been sending to an exchange to dump. I think they originally wanted to donate all to the Red Cross but just noticed they don't have any BTC address so their only chance is to withdraw to their wallets. SAD.

Get real, you never gonna get any valid coin back.

XRB devs are big time scammers. They wont rollback a decentralized coin.
why would they have to do rollback? and I'm not sure a DAG (block lattice) based coin works the same way like blockchain based coin and it's not a devs' fault, it was purely bitgrail fault for inadequately in running an exchange if they do rollback, it won't be a decentralized coin anymore and devs will be called choosing sides Irony is not your strongest point.

is there any possibility altho small that we will get our funds back anytime in the future? Or is it just done forever and there is no hope left?
According to best practice of this market absolutely no chance.

I've checked my wallet on the exchange and all my XRBs are there. Is that means my wallet is not hacked and i got a chance to withdraw later?

Has anyone reported them to ANY authority or is this a whining-only community?

|

What do they need to develop? What's not working?

The popular crypto media will pick this scam up soon and the lawsuit will follow but the later it happens the more the traces will be erased.

Is coinsmarkets.com or coinsmarkets.org the correct site? They both had different messages displayed until a few hours ago.
When it's working then you know its a fake one.

Many people saying things that are just not true, XVG is be here for years and not "The 100000th privacy coin this year"...if people are losing money they call it a scam, if the same coin makes money you don't here there complaining.
Crypto business is an investment with no guarantees at all, if you cant stand losing go do something else.
I did not call it a scam. That would be at least clever, but it's worse.
