1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Promising Layer 2 Blockchains in Crypto on: December 24, 2021, 05:23:00 AM
Polygon has been gaining momentum and some of the project I bought have migrated to polygon from ethereum and others are planning same thing, big monies are flowing to the polygon network. Near is another beast to watch it dubs itself as ethereum killer even though it may not really send it into oblivion but coming to share market with the quen of altcoins.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to invest in 2022 on: December 24, 2021, 05:16:25 AM
Okay, I was expecting some good new projects people are not too familiar with, with a proven sophisticated techonogical solution. I already deal in your list for years and one just need the probable one that could pull 1000x or less not asking for more. We should continue to see layer1 solaution as the quest for dominance and innovation gets some hit. ICP is not here even Near.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Expectation About Polygon (MATIC) Token for 2022 on: December 24, 2021, 04:43:07 AM
As long as the gas fee on ethereum mainet is alaways high and Polgon is a layer2 project, we should expect more project migrating there and this will cause huge growth of matic. It's easy to bridge between ETH and Polygon. Uniswap is coming to Polgon too so expect a lot of migration to the network. I hope my days of trading and providing liquidity on the polygon network pays.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Besides BTC and ETH what coins would you invest in long term? on: December 24, 2021, 04:38:59 AM
I have some Near protocol for myself and my wife, and mine has been staked to avoid selling off like I sold my ETH, Matic and some other good coins at their early stage. Near protocol is actually a layer1 blockchain with about 100k/TPs, so it's highly scalable, it my as well have an impactful growth like Solana. Should I see a bear market, I will accumulate more.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delusional or not? on: December 24, 2021, 04:38:26 AM
Let's see how this is going to work. People who often fall victims of fake smartcontracts are the ones always in a hurry to ape in without cross checking with the real contract. Some friends loss thousands of dollars on pancakeswap because they wanted quickly buy the token before anyone else and end up buying fake and loss on both.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: December 22, 2021, 04:35:27 PM
ETH miners seems like a cult group who love to see the outricious gas fee the network, despite all the upgrade and forks, gas fees still remain rediculously expensive. The market that ETH would have been controlling alone has already been shared but a total defeat is not clearly visible because of first mover advantage, continuous development of the network and massive offchain support, it will be difficult to display ETH from number 2 position by any competitor.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: staking on: December 22, 2021, 04:25:20 PM
A very huge APY is not sustainable in the long run,it will either naturally drop down or crash the price of the project or can even threaten the continuous existence of the project. I have farmed crazy ApY in the past but later dropped as more perticipants entered the pool.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highest profitable altcoin for you in 2021 on: December 22, 2021, 04:19:11 PM
I made a hit on Cake, Ubix and some Solana projects and few BSC projects, sadly I didn't take enough profit magnicifient enough for me to retire and become a motivation speaker. I perceive next year will be huge again but I expect some new projects to bring in massive profits in the name of metaverse.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bear market? on: December 22, 2021, 04:15:44 PM
If when bitcoin is surging and your altcoins are stagnant and when bitcoin is falling your altcoins keep tumbling, I think you are in a bear already, you may not neccessarily see 2018/2019 bear style that was too brutal besides we have more adoption now than we were then and more  sustainable innovations now.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Squid Game' cryptocurrency scams $2 million on: December 19, 2021, 04:22:45 PM
I actually bought the rekted of the token, hoping maybe something will be picked by their supporters and pump once again, and will cash out without looking back, although I consider it as a loss investment because I had put a little bucks not big enough to shake me.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Career opportunities in the Metaverse. on: December 19, 2021, 04:08:47 PM
Don't be offended by my question. just the way NFT sales were rigged by group of influncers buying as high as $25M for  something that looks like a Jpeg to me. so If I buy land for $20K on Metaverse, who is going to buy it from me at say $100k and for what purpose? These are many of my thoughts.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE ETHEREUM GAS FEES RIDICULOUSLY HIGH? on: December 19, 2021, 04:00:34 PM
In 2017 and 2018 and partly 2019, ethereum fees was relatively cheap, but immediately the rush for Defi started, the ethereum network couldn't handle the volume of it users because it can only process 15/TPS. It could have even been worst than we are seeing if not for offchain transactions and other blockchains handling defis, NFT, gaming and the newest the Metaverse. In the future Eth should be able to migrate from POW to POS, then we should start enjoying low fee again.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: First impressions on Craig Wright ( Satoshi Nakamoto ? ) on: December 18, 2021, 06:51:41 PM
The real Satoshi haven seen the success of his works will never attempt to be draging issues and seeking attention without a proper technical proof. I understand Craig Wright has a lot of disciples who are now rekt for buying BSV instead of investing in BTC. Today, I don't expect his disciples to still be following him after heavily misleding them.  A patriot will never seek to destroy the good way.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I had bought bitcoin 10 years ago, I would have been a millionaire: Not true on: December 18, 2021, 06:38:56 PM
That is not absolutely true, some persons still would have held maybe not all the numbers purchased. As a rule, I don't sell all my postion even though I hear a bad news, I have learnt some bad lessons by selling too cheaply, So, I don't easily sell and will never sell all postion it's part of my philosophy.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" on: December 18, 2021, 06:32:17 PM
Only invest what you can afford to lose is most generally use for newbies whom you are just bringing to the market and for people on social media when giving a general advise but the OGs now understand this market that bitcoin is bigger than what it seems now regardless of price correction. I have coins I have locked up in my hardware wallet, let it be there from now till 5years.
16  Other / Archival / Re: Are Banks afraid of Crypto adoption? on: December 16, 2021, 09:33:14 PM
My nation's diasporal remittance dropped by about 80% because the people suddenly discovered the banks are fleecing them and ths diasporal remmitance makes up part of my nation GDP so the apex bank governor is confused in a bid to trying to save his job, he makes too many mistakes with cryptocurrency traders track down. He has failed too. You can't stop a technological advancement.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Tonga will probably be the next country to make Bitcoin legal tender on: December 16, 2021, 09:28:39 PM
30%in fees is an indirect robbery. I magine 30% of $1,000,000 that would be $300k I undersatnd there should be a cap though and it's still way too expensive. My brother in Italy sends money to me via crypto almost at no cost. This is what the banks fear. The days of visiting their iniquidity is near.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe good time to loan money to invest in crypto on: December 16, 2021, 09:23:16 PM
I have since repented from borrowing money to invest in crypto. I borrowed money in 2018 to invest in crypto, I almost got into depression because of bad debt. I had to cry to heaven for help, well God did helped me. I paid off the debt and have enough till date. I will never again, I have since learnt to be levearging on what I have it.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: December 15, 2021, 03:19:42 PM
Kiyosaki said same thing when bitcoin was bullish and after which we saw some corrections, I sold off some of my cake and boom price spike. Well Kiyosaki never did advise me to invest in the crypto market. As regards the cryptocurrency market, it doesn't respect Kiyosaki.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinmarketcap hacked ? seems i have more money than Elon on: December 15, 2021, 03:14:04 PM
Well, I feel it was a plan code distort to show people a glimpse of the future, if they can just hold despite the current market situation and a way of easing depression that may have been caused by the current correction. Well, it made people in my group that ceased joining discussion because of the market to laugh out yesterday. We are back to reality.
