Die USB Miner können nur SHA256.

Das Setup von mir ist ja wie soll ich sagen ... eine Spielerei im sehr kleinen Stil aber vielen Dank für das Lob! ;-)


Für das Minen ist eigentlich nur die GPU (Grafikkarte) interessant, da der Rest nicht gebraucht wird.
Die Mining-Programme sind kleine Dos-Programme, welche kaum CPU/RAM nutzen.

Mit der Radeon kannst du schon minen - wirst aber nicht all zu viel erreichen.
zum Vergleich: meine geForce GTX660 hat < 100 mh/s geschafft

Der optische Unterschied zw. LTC, BTC, DEM etc. ist beim mining nicht ersichtlich.
Unterm Strich zählt, was dann in deinem Wallet landet und was das dann ggf. in EUR oder USD Wert ist ;-)

Ich habe es so gemacht für den Einstieg in BTC-Mining:

1. Wallet BitcoinQT: http://bitcoin.org/de/download
2. Mining-Client: http://bfgminer.org/
3. Mining-Pool: https://www.btcguild.com/

1.Wallet installiert, Walletadresse erhältst du dann im Programm automatisch - kannst aber x fach beliebige anlegen
2. Im Mining-Pool angemeldet und die Wallet-Adresse hinterlegt

Also wenn du einfach einsteigen willst, reicht 1 ASIC Stick und eine aktive Lüftung (Arctic Breeze USB)
Alles an PC anstecken
Treiber installieren (CP210 + Zadic Treiber für CGMiner)
CGMiner+DEMWalletQT runterladen und entpacken
Einstellen bzw. Verknüpfung mit den Parametern anlegen
fertig (grob erklärt)

LTC kannst du aber mit einem ASIC Miner nicht minen.
DEM schon.

Was halt dein Geldbeutel hergibt.
Du kannst v.a. im ASIC Bereich zw. 30 (ASIC USB Erupter) und x-Tausend € ausgeben (z.B. https://www.kncminer.com/categories/miners).

Ich habe mir zum Testen und Rumspielen ein paar USB Erupter gekauft, jedoch trenne ich mich von den ganzen Sachen wieder.
v.a. wenn man Bitcoins minen will ist der Zug schon lange abgefahren, da die Difficulty zu schnell zu hoch wird.
Bei DEM ist es imho noch einfacher was zu "reissen"

Meine Config:

8x ASIC USB Miner
1x DLINK DUB-H7 USB HUB
1x HAMA 4:1 USB HUB
1x Arctiv Breeze Lüfter

das alles hängt an einem kleinen Netbook (Intel Atom 1,6GHz, 1GB RAM, Windows 7) und läuft 24/7 --> Stromkosten beachten!

Aktuell mine ich mit 8 USB ASICs ... mal sehen, was drauß wird.

i made a little update - got 3 new ASICs

1. Updated to Windows 7 - now all work at the same time - Thanks to all helpers here!
2. Attached 6 ASICs to the D-Link HUB
2.1 Attached the D-Link HUB to the "top-Slot" of the 4:1 HAMA HUB for a better air-flow to the bottom row
3. Attached 2 ASICs to the small 4:1 HAMA HUB on top of the D-LINK HUB
4. Attached the HAMA HUB with a Y-USB Cable to two USB Ports in the Netbook



The Fan is attached to another USB Port and i put it in a Tape-Holder - fittet perfectly :-)

Rig is running with about 2,66 GH/s

3x333MHs ASCIs and 1x2400 MHs ASIC are on the way - then my rig should be completed  
i will switch the D-Link HUB to two other HUBs with more Power and lesser price!

i don't know how to start.

Problem: COM3 always gets a /!\ in the DeviceManager

All other COM-Ports work fine.
Even if i uninstall COM3 Windows automatically reinstalls COM3 with the /!\

Does not depend which stick i use
even which USB Port is use ...

Windows doensn't care.

i got it to run with 7 Sticks now

6 @ D-Link HUB
1 @ Mainboard



When i plugin the 8th stick it looks like this:
(when i use the Stick on another Computer it works - so it can't be a Hardware-Problem)



when i deinstall COM3 and search for new hardware ... it still gets it to COM3 ?!
BFG Miner does not recognise it
