POS is the future but not as the way traditional POS coins did it. POW is just a waste of precious energy. Masternodes are an effective way to implement POS, a quicker and effective way to solve transactions. Ethereum is also said to be working on an improved version of POS.
Yeah. I agree with you, most of my holdings are POS.

|
This market now has both POS and POW based projects, and both of them have their own unique characteristics.
POS(Low energy consumption negligible to that of proof of work) POW(Generation of blocks using computing power)
-Now, as a investor which one is your first choice and why?
-Which one is gonna be the winner in the long run?(I'm bullish on POS though).

Actually it's quite correct that it's hard to understand Bitcoin, One day when I begin to start thinking I've learned something about it and the next day it proves me wrong and shows me i've so many things to learn about it. I'm doing my due research on bitcoin and trying to understand it better not completely though.

We can't say anything for sure at this moment but we've to be very patient and don't let the weak hands sell your holdings.

If it's downregulating think how much down it can go. if you've hold this long you can better than this and don't panic this is all part of the game. If seeing your portfolio tracker makes you sad delete it for some days and don't look at it.

It's still so early to predict anything about the market,we may see more sideway movement for some days.

There's an old saying and i also believe strongly that is "Invest that much what you can afford to lose".
This is not only true for investment in Bitcoin, it applies in any type of investment.

Frankly speaking when I got into cryptocurrency the whole market was in an uptrend and i was hoping to get some quick profit. I won't deny that l've made some good amounts as well as some wronng trades but i must admit i'm in love with this cryptosphere and the technology behind it. And i've started to learn programming after i got into crypto ( you can say this a double benefit)

Both Centralized and Decentralized exchanges have their own goods and bads. On which you would like to trade? And which one is going to be the the obvious choice in next 10 years?
Above everything which one seems more secure to us?

If moderator for this thread is watching this, I've a suggestion for the discussion. People are only posting same thing again and again. It'll be nice to see some productive discussions like what features they expect how the marketing can be done more effectively.

I don't know what coin your staking but I used https://rokos.space/ which is a pi os for crypto's I only stopped because my pi was outdated it's a neat little os That was very helpful mate. Do you only stake one coin at a time or more?

Actually I've read before posting, and there were information that it's storage capacity is limited. so i actually wanted to know how many wallets can be used in a pi at a time.
Am not sure about this limitations, but I believe the mean of that is, isn't economical to use big SD card on Pi, . ( I use 64 GB SD card on my Pi 2). So, what's that economical one? Use small SD card then HDD ( think how to wiring it) and put the root on that. You can run several wallets at once ( the different coins wallet, right?) Yeah i actually meant different coin wallets in one pi, I read somewhere that staking two different coins at a time clogs the memory so it needs to be cleared time to time. Do you suggest a 64gb would be helpful?

Thanks mate for understanding. I have been staking on a windows laptop but i came across to see about Raspberry pi and got interested about it.. I'm hoping to get one myself soon.
I see you are wearing PRiVCY signature😉 I didn't get the first one for a small mistake. Pity 😋

Hello, can anyone tell me how to use Raspberry pi to start proof of stake. (can i use multiple wallets in a pi or only one wallet!) How much memory needed for the pi!
Google can easily tell you how to use Raspberry pi for POS. A simple google search can direct you to tutorials such as this: https://www.reddit.com/r/decred/comments/6zs8tq/pos_mining_on_raspberry_pi_3/Next time, try do your own research first before asking questions that can be easily answered by yourself. Actually I've read before posting, and there were information that it's storage capacity is limited. so i actually wanted to know how many wallets can be used in a pi at a time.

I'm eager to see how deal is going to act on this bearish market, all are bleeding.

I'm betting on Deal that who doesn't get in will regret in 2019. 😂

It's really nice to see the community grows day by day, more people are realising the true potential of DEAL.
