Some of these are repeats... but they deserve being repeated! - Don't download programs from the Internet. This rule is difficult to follow 100%; just be aware that each new program you download and run could be the one that steals your BTC.
Have there actually been any cases of people downloading software and having their BTC coins hacked? I know there's a lot of 'automatic bitcoin' software out there that are obvious scams, but I'm saying more subtle things like Alt Coin wallets, someone downloads an Alt Coin wallet installation and all of a sudden their BTC coins are gone. Any cases of that yet?

LOL! I've read a few reports where cats have died and/or become very sick from vegetarian diets. For what it's worth, PETA should not be trusted about anything. They are the biggest hypocrites out there. They tell us that it's wrong to kill animals, but yet they do it themselves. http://rt.com/usa/peta-shelters-animals-killing-975/Yes they can thrive on a vegetarian diet, they can also get sick from a vegetarian diet. They can do either one very well, but because the majority of humans are closed minded individuals not willing to go against their religious beliefs, all of a sudden if one cat becomes sick through a vegetarian diet, simple minded human conclusion is: "LOL PETA CAN'T BE TRUSTED!!!!!!" For example, at one point the oldest living dog in the world was a vegan dog, living up to 189 dog years, holding the Guinness world record: http://www.care2.com/greenliving/vegetarian-dog-lives-to-189-years.html I used to be as ignorant and foolish as you two by the way, not knowing what I was missing out on and not unlocking my true potential by trying out something new and removing meat from my diet. So that's okay, I think we're all ignorant and foolish at one point in our lives, we might have been brought up in a religion for example, or maybe thought pop idols such as Justin Bieber were heroes, or maybe made a lot of stupid decisions, who knows. But from my own experience, every single aspect of my life has improved thanks to changing my diet. Literally everything. It's the ultimate panacea. It's a revelation, a single change in my life that changed it for the better. I think if you're eating meat, you don't have as much energy, as much of a clear mind, or as much power and intelligence as I and other vegetarians and vegans have on a daily basis. If you don't believe me, check out how crime rates improved after a vegan diet: http://vegetarianspotlight.com/2011/vegan-diet-impacts-california-prison/In a video-taped interview obtained by Vegetarian Spotlight, Victor Valley nutrition services coordinator Julianne Aranda explains that “what we eat not only affects us physically, but it affects our mental attitude, our aggressiveness and our ability to make good decisions”
There's a lot of scumbags on the planet, a lot of rapists, muderers, scammers, people that will deceive you in order to take a full advantage of you. Millions of people get sent to the hospital per year due to illness and diseases, and most people think that's just normal. But the oldest vegetarians and vegans out there are always full of energy and health like I am, the oldest marathon runner in the world is a 103 year old vegetarian, the first male to 115 years old was a vegetarian heavy drinker and smoker, the ultramarathon world record belongs to two vegans 68 and 64 years old, speaking of world records even the heaviest weight lifted in the world belongs to a vegan, most ironman championship wins world record belong to a vegan too. It allowed people to think more clearly, allowed people to think far enough ahead about their decisions so they don't commit crimes. Seriously, if you're eating meat, you're nowhere near as fast or clear a thinker as a vegetarian or vegan nearby. Sorry but you're dulled and hindered by the crap you eat. 103 year old marathon runner - world record holder - full of energy and full of life Here are some famous vegetarians and vegans, let me know what you think: Einstein - Theory of Relativity. Had the most groundbreaking discovery of the 20th century. Isaac Newton - Created Calculus and Founded Physics. He is considered the father of Physics, the father of Calculus, the Father of Modern Medicine, and even the Father of Modern Science. Nikola Tesla - Invented the radio and Alternating Current. Has a cult following that many of his inventions were stolen. Gandhi - Civil Rights Movement Buddha - Founded Buddhism Steve Jobs - Created Apple Ramanujan - Genius mathematician. Edward Wittin - Einstein's successor and foremost string theorist Brian Greene - Genius who refuted Einstein's theory that space could stretch but not tear. Rosa Parks Thomas Edison Benjamin Franklin Prince Mike Tyson Forest Whitaker Natalie Portman George Bernard Shaw Leonardo Da Vinci Leo Tolstoy Cesar Chavez Russell Brand Carl Lewis Paul McCartney Bree Olson Alicia Silverstone John Harvey Kellogg Michael Jackson IDK you may not know the next people on the list, I don't know much about athletes but when I talked to people who do, they recognized these names. I mean I know Mike Tyson of course, but I don't know much about these next people in the list to be honest, they were apparently some of the best athletes in the world and vegetarian: Joe Namath Tony La Russa Martina Navratilova Robert Parish Billie Jean King Carl Lewis Timothy Bradley From my own experience it's hard for me NOT to accomplish anything, I've just been able to dominate almost every endeavour put in front of me thus far since I changed my diet, it is so funny sometimes that people don't believe you, but I'm a completely different, better person. It's a huge boost to what I was before, I'm not joking, I'm better in every single aspect. It's amazing. But hey, you don't have to believe, just ask Einstein or Thomas Edison, the wizard of Menlo Park, or even Leonardo Da Vinci, the smartest people of their time, dominating. Heck if you want a starter to see why you should try a vegan or vegetarian diet, watch the videos on my signature. Otherwise you're just a closed minded individual left behind in my dust of accomplishments and improved intelligence . I used to have Conky for Linux: and at the time it was the best thing to make your computer desktop look cool. Looks so basic now, doesn't it? Those rainmeter desktops look awesome, I used rainmeter in the past as well, nowhere near as good as it is today.

Yeah selling on eBay is a complete rip off! For any item you sell, they basically take 15%, rounded up, that's without shipping included. The lowest shipping price you can ship an item for is $1.93 and that's the lighest item possible.
The shipping fees only go up the heavier the item is. Plus you also have to buy the shipping material, tape, pack it all up, drive to the nearest post office, then stand in line for who knows how long, and then drive all the way back home which might be far away.
Protip: if you want to sell on eBay, make sure no one on Craigslist wants it first.

Yeah, the best way to earn Bitcoins is to buy. That's pretty much the only reasonable way to get it as well these days. If you want to mine bitcoins now, you're going to need a lot of hashing power and that's going to cost you a lot of dough.
You could also mine some alt coins today and hope they go up in value in the future and trade that in for Bitcoins, but again that's going to cost you money that you're probably not going to earn back through mining. You could invest in a heavy rig today, and then next week a new machine comes out and you get blown out of the water, outdated.
From experience, alt coins greatly increase in value the first week they're released, so you should sell within the first week, a month or two later and that coin will probably greatly decrease in value, even though in the first week everyone thinks there's no way the coin will drop .

I'd buy a small house in a good location in the US, a small house because it'll be a backup home that I'll probably rent out while I live somewhere else. Then I'll probably save a few hundred thousand for investments, and a hundred thousand for emergency funds. The rest I'll most likely use it to help out a specific third world country, live there for a few years building schools and buying food and medicine for those that need it.

I know far less vegans these days than I used to. I got sick and tired of their holler than thou attitude. It's gets tiring to be told that they are better than everyone else because of their beliefs.
I make very conscience decisions on wear I buy my meat and dairy. I only buy farm fresh eggs from a local farm a few blocks away from my house. I've become friends with the family over the years and I know exactly how they are treated.
I also only buy meat from my local butcher. I know the farms where he gets his beef, chicken, pork, etc. They are all relatively local and they are mostly family farms. I don't support meat factories. i choose to support smaller farms that treat their animals as ethically as possible. They also don't add a bunch of crap to the meat.
Frankly, I don't trust meat from anywhere else. I guess I'm lucky to have the luxury of making that choice, I wish more people did that have the option. Hell, same goes for my fruit and veggies, local farms as much as possible. I don't eat a shitload of meat, but I'm not gonna stop either. I eat fruits and vegetables daily and trust me, I'm healthy. Eating meat from time to time isn't going to change that.
In fact, tonight I will be BBQ'ing a nice juicy steak.
Hey thanks for your honesty man, I definitely applaud what you're doing instead of supporting the meat factories, that's pretty cool and should be the mainstream method of farming. Sadly it's not mainstream though, I have an uncle who owns a local farm, 'local' even though he's very far from me and I probably visit very rarely once every 5+ years or more, he keeps the animals in cages sort of like the ones you see in those Peta videos where they can't even move, very smelly, feces everywhere, I don't know if he advertises them as 'free-range' or not either, but he probably does since it's a small 'local' farm. I've met one person in real life who had AIDs, I'm not sure if he's alive anymore. He was probably the sickest person I've ever met in my entire life, on the brink of death. Makes me sick just imagining his face and body. It wasn't good, let's just leave it at that. AIDs is very scary, it's something you do not want to catch because it can devastate your entire life and turn it upside down. It kills millions of people every year, there is no cure, people who caught AIDs at the time this book was written had a life expectancy of 3-5 year after catching the disease and that's WITH taking tons of medications and pills just to stay alive, but there is someone who has actually cured the disease from his body back in the 80s: Roger's Recovery From AIDS: How One Man Defeated the Dread Disease. No drugs, no medication. Guess what diet he ate? He went from having full blown AIDs all over his body in his deathbed taking tons of medications, to curing it completely, no drugs or medications used. I'm surprised this isn't a news worldwide story because that's a big deal to me in my opinion. No one has cured AIDs before. Especially never through a diet without any assistance of medicine. Especially when the average life expectancy at the time was a short 3-5 years WITH daily expensive and painful medication. Believe it or not there's a second person that has cured his own AIDs, he went from low T cell count, tons of body pain, horrible join paint, and almost dead to now healthier than a normal person and he can even do backflips and run around and do exercise even better than your average American, NO MEDICATIONS: Will a raw food diet cure my friend Jesse's AIDS HIV?Jessie Reaches Out. Talks about HIVJessie No longer HIV PositiveJesse Update 5/15/2014He went from AIDS, had dangerously low T-cell count, tremendous amounts of pain, joints ached with soreness, to now no longer being HIV positive, his doctor didn't know what was going on. He says he's healthier now than ever before, he can do backflips, and is even healthier than 'normal' people who were never sick with AIDs to begin with. He took NO MEDICATIONS. Diet cure for all sicknesses? For sure. Cancer can be reversed, diabetes can be reversed, heart disease can be reversed, and now it looks like even AIDs can't beat a vegan diet. "I'm not HIV positive anymore."I know I've been saying that EVERYTHING in my life has improved for the better since I became a vegan, my intelligence, my energy levels, relationships, money, freakin' everything, but not one but TWO PEOPLE curing AIDs with this diet should be the best recognition and testimonial in the world. The fact that Jessie went from barely able to move, was in tons of pain, had a ton of diseases, to now able to do backflips and is healthier than the majority of Americans today, and he doesn't take any pills anymore, has to give you some sort of idea or inspiration. If you eat meat, you support killing animals! So don't eat meat! You can eat eggs, drink milk, but don't eat animals.
isn't eating eggs the same like eating babies? I don't know about you guys But I surely couldn't work hard 8 hours while just eating salad you guys perhaps work somewhere in an office or something but doing physicaly intense labor on salads, I don't think I could do that.. All eggs that people are brainwashed to purchase and don't think about why they're purchasing or using it when there are better and cheaper substitutes are unfertilized eggs that come from the menstruation cycle of hens without the mating of a rooster, there's not a baby chicken in there unless the hen mates with a rooster. We humans have the same process in women and they're called periods for us. In short, the unfertilized eggs that most people consume are actually the chicken's periods. There's vegetarian and vegan versions of every single food out there that are healthier, cheaper, and taste the same if not better than their meat counterparts. These are so much cheaper to make, no months or years of animal raising or torture, no waste of water or grains to feed the animals for long periods of time, and the vegan and vegetarian foods are filled with antioxidants, fiber, and phytonutrients and don't have any cholesterol. Very delicious, very fulfilling, so energizing and awesome. Millions of rabbits have to go hungy everyday. vegetarinas are stealing their food If you hate animals, steel their food. If you are a good human, let the animals enjoy their food. Don't steal from the rabbits
Roughly 70% of all agricultural crops and 50% of all our freshwater (including pool, shower, etc) are used for feeding farm animals when they could be used for human use instead. There's a large amount of deforestation and clearing of grass lands for agriculture and cattle ranching which means destroying the rabbit's and thousands of other species' habitat. By feeding the grains and water to the animals, then eating the animals, we lose 90% of the protein, 96% of the calories, 100% of the fiber, and 100% of the carbohydrates of foods we could have fed to ourselves or planted other human crops in. Factory farming is a very inefficient process that's destroying the planet. Plus don't forget the Amazon rainforest, 20% of it has been cut down, and 80% of it was used for cattle herding. That's a large chunk cut out from the legendary and beautiful Amazon rainforest just so some people can eat their meat, get sick and obese from it, become very tired and lethargic from it, then take pills and coffee just to feel awake and think that is normal. Because we live in a world filled with apathy and carelessness, most people just don't care that the planet is turning to trash and humans themselves are becoming sicker and sicker. They don't even see that a diet cure is right in front of their face, that if they ate the right kinds of foods all their troubles and sickness would go away and they would feel so much better about themselves and have more energy. The society we live in is very delusional. No one cares about math or science, no one cares about education, no one cares about a healthy diet, no one cares about the environment, no one cares if their religion is wrong, people like to live in a fantasy world where meat is perfumed with antibiotics and drugs and think no animal has to suffer and get slaughtered, where taking pills and going to the doctor daily is a normal activity, where cancer, diabetes, and obesity are rampant and people think it's completely normal, where lack of energy so you need coffee and five hour energy just to move around is completely normal, where working a job to buy things you don't need to impress people you don't even like is completely normal, but doing community service and caring for animals and the planet for the next generation is frowned upon. Just a delusional world. The diet cure that can literally solve all their problems is right in front of their faces but most people are simply the blind following the blind and everyone gets lost together. Spend time educating yourself instead of going with the flow chanting: "Meat is good because I was raised to eat meat and my friends eat meat and everyone I know eats meat except for the healthiest people I know who don't but I have never tried removing meat from my diet, and I have never done any research on why meat is bad, or why a vegan diet is good, but I am right because I was born and raised into this society and people agree with me." - Your average meat eater's argument (I come from the same boat but I departed on the smartest island and left you guys stranded, lost in your own delusions and fantasies) Fun facts: Meat is full of cholesterol and saturated fats and consuming too much is not good for you. Fruits and veggies are filled with fiber, antioxidants and phytonutrients which are very good for your body. What makes vegan food? Anything without meat or dairy. Yes you can still eat pizza, spaghetti, sushi, general Tso, hamburgers, bacon, etc, just vegan versions of them. I had General Tso vegan last night and it was delish. Every restaurant serves vegetarian foods, soups, tofu, etc, you just have to ask the waiter. So am I missing out on anything? No. Do I have more energy? YES. Am I smarter than before? YES. Am I happier than I have ever been in my life? YES. Do I take any pills? NOT ANYMORE! My life was changed completely for the better. Money, health, relationships, energy, everything became clear, mind fog went away, my brain is now like a rocket ship filled with an unlimited supply of fuel. it's not even a bad thing to become a vegan or vegetarian and it can even be healthy, reverse diabetes, cure cancer, weight loss, etc,
How exactly does following a vegan diet cure cancer? You do believe a cancer patient can be cured if they just switch to a vegan diet, right? A carb-free meat diet has also been shown to reverse diabetes after a few months, that doesn't mean it's a sustainable diet in the long run, just as the vegan diet. You ridicule pill-popping meat-eaters, yet I'm pretty sure vegans have to supplement their daily diet with pills to make up for vitamin deficiencies. On a daily basis your body fights off cancer cells, by eating vegan foods you increase your phytonutrient and antioxidants intake which strengthens your immune system and increases the effectiveness at which your body destroys the cancer cells. Also studies show that eating meat increases your chances of getting any cancer, for example in 2007 a 35,000 women study was conducted and women that ate the most meat had the highest cancer risk while those that ate none had the least. Other researchers also took the poop of meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans, and dropped tiny drops on a bunch of cancer cells in petri dishes to see which ones fought off cancer cells the best, meat eater poop pretty much had little to no effect on fighting off cancer, while vegan poop annihilated pretty much all the cancer cells. It was so awesome. Carb-free meat diet, I don't think that's possible. Even myself while trying out a high-fat low-carb meat diet, I was still eating minimum amounts of carbs. No carbs though sounds very unhealthy and will make you feel like crap all day, not to mention how lethargic you will feel all day. Vegan diet on the other hand is sustainable in the long run, the first male to ever reach 115 years old and was the longest lived person for a while was a vegetarian. At one point the oldest woman alive was 117 and was a vegetarian. Plus there are 90 year old and 100 year old marathon runners that are vegetarian. Two vegans 68 and 64 years old ran a marathon every day for a year. Recently there was a 95 year old vegan that retired from his heart surgeon job, his staff said he was still full of energy and was very skillful at work despite his age and his staff was shocked that he retired. Oldest yoga instructor is a 95 year old vegan who can run, dance, and jump with grace and do things majority of 75 year olds cannot do anymore. Lots of long lived vegan examples by the way, these are just a few that come to mind. Arnold Schwarzenegger 66 years old meat eater vs Jim Morris (Mr. Olympia, Mr. International, and Mr. USA) 75 year old vegan, childhood friends, before and after decades well i see your point. And many other peoples's points but the thing is, it's really impossible for us to live here if we never ate meat. our ancestors cooked meat and it gave them many advantages. their brains grew, they became smarter. it was a part of evolution. the only reason we can live on vegan diets these days is because our human biology has become advanced enough we don't evolve as much. but i'm not saying that we should handle meat the way we do. and that way is since the population is so big, animals are brutally slaughtered everyday. it's one of the ways we grew the public to look away from the evil in the world. being a vegetarian may not solve all of these problems. what we need to do is bring as much as attention as we can to this even though we've been trying for some time. remember their only chances of success is if we obey, if we all rebel, their house of cards will fall.
At one point it might have been necessary for humans to consume animals, but we have definitely reached an age where that's no longer necessary or required, and you can live a much better life without it. And yes if everyone in the world became a vegetarian it would literally solve all of the world's current problems, food, water, crime, economy, etc, heck just look it up on Google "What if everyone was a vegetarian" and see what science and researchers have to say. Meat and fat is so damn tasty, it's silly to miss out on the goodness for whatever reason.
How are you actually living, if you limit yourself on what you eat, drink, enjoy?
By that logic drugs like meth are good for you. You're saying I'm missing out on eating meat, as if I had never eaten meat before. Ever since I stopped eating meat, I'm loving life more than I have ever had in the past, and have so much more energy to enjoy it with. The average American has 12 prescription pills a year, that's a new pill every month. I now take 0 pills whereas before I'd probably be having a few prescriptions a year just like your average American does. Absolutely nothing wrong with eating meat, just like there is nothing wrong with be vegan. What I don't like is when another person tries to force their beliefs on me.
Nobody has the right to tell me what I can and cannot eat. I know people who are extremely unhealthy that are vegans, the same goes with heavy meat eaters. I'll stick to the everything in moderation diet. There is a perfectly healthy balance in the middle.
How many vegans do you know? I only met one in my entire life, and he was healthier than basically everyone else I knew, he looked like he was in his early 20s when he was in his late 30s, smart, and energetic guy. Believe it or not he didn't influence me to become a vegan at all, he rarely even talked about it, it was years later that after doing some research I decided to try it out, and my mind was blown. My life was changed completely for the better. Money, health, relationships, energy, everything became clear, mind fog went away, my brain is now like a rocket ship filled with an unlimited supply of fuel. I understand why you don't think there's anything wrong with eating meat, I come from that same viewpoint, but I learned to educate myself and learned the truth. The reality is, meat factories cause a lot of pollution, it causes animal extinction, worst of all it causes apathy and even sickness in people, forcing people to take pills they don't need when a diet cure is right in front of their face. The society we live in is very delusional. No one cares about math or science, no one cares about education, no one cares about a healthy diet, no one cares about the environment, no one cares if their religion is wrong, people like to live in a fantasy world where meat is perfumed with antibiotics and drugs and think no animal has to suffer and get slaughtered, where taking pills and going to the doctor daily is a normal activity, where cancer, diabetes, and obesity are completely normal, where lack of energy so you need coffee and five hour energy just to move around is completely normal, where working a job to buy things you don't need to impress people you don't even like is completely normal. Here's a flow chart of your thinking, @CoinGeneral
1) Assert argument -- do people agree? a) If yes, smile smugly. End. b) If no, go to 2. 2) State evidence -- do people agree? a) If yes, smile smugly. End. b) If no, go to 3. c) If no and they provide counter-reasoning, go to 4. 3) Post silly picture and/or spin stated evidence -- do people agree? a) If yes, smile smugly (this will never happen). End. b) If no, go to 4. 4) Ignore all counter-reasoning and morally condemn those that don't agree -- do people agree? a) If yes, smile smugly (this will never happen). End. b) If no, go to 3.
Lol. I worked in a health food store for 2 years. I met my fair share of vegans / vegetarians and they're all crazy just like you. I like how you say Weston A Price's book is just one big anecdotal point of view and then you give me this big wall of anecdotes. What am I supposed to say? I can't deny your experiences. That's like a christian coming up to me and telling me, "God is real man, I've experienced him and if you would too then you would also believe in him!" It's your personal experience, but I'm sure there are more variables involved, but again, I would have to see pre and post events leading to it as well as general mindset blah blah. Everything became better man, EVERYTHING. My thinking process, my energy levels, my relationships with people, my skills in different fields, everything improved.
That's too funny. If I go vegetarian will it erase my credit card debt and pay for the rest of my school too? I would probably consider it then. You're saying this as if I didn't do my research and assume I was brought into society by my parents and was raised as a vegetarian or a vegan. As if I had never eaten meat before, as if I had never cooked meat or experienced both sides before. I changed to this diet since I like to try out many different food types, and found out veganism was hands down the best, the healthiest, and makes so much sense plus you don't miss out on anything at all. I'm actually loving life more than ever, more than 5 people I know and can name are trying out vegetarianism as well now because they saw how much more vibrant, cheerful, energized, and productive I became thanks to this lifestyle change. You on the other hand, are very closed minded. You say it's not even a bad thing to become a vegan or vegetarian and it can even be healthy, reverse diabetes, cure cancer, weight loss, etc, but you don't even want to try it out. No one is saying it's a permanent life choice, no one is saying you have to call yourself a vegan or a vegetarian and affiliate yourself with that group, no one is saying you can't eat meat ever again. You can always go back to eating meat again if that's what you choose and veganism or vegetarianism doesn't work out for you. It's the same with me, I tried out veganism just like I tried out all the other diets out there. Just to try it out. It wasn't a permanent life choice, it wasn't a necessity, I wasn't affiliating myself with the vegan group. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and my mind was blown. Energy went up, vitality went up, brain function went up, I was saving money on food, I started becoming more active, it was as if life had taken on a whole new playing field. I don't feel any need or hunger to consume any animal products anymore and that's why I don't and choose not to. It's backed up by science, backed up by stories, backed up by logic. What makes more sense: hunting and killing an animal which takes a long time, taking out the tools necessary to remove the fur, feathers, organs, bones, and other bloody parts that aren't edible, taking out the few small pieces that are edible, washing that part thoroughly to make sure it's bacteria free, not to mention the terrible smell of the carcass that humans evolved to stay away from, washing it over and over again, finally cooking that part until it turns to a brown color or freezing it before it rots in a short time span, then eating it while it's hot because when it's normal temperature or cold it tastes like crap which is why the microwave and oven exist, not to mention the spices, sauces, herbs, etc, added just to make it taste acceptable. OR Just plucking a fruit out of a tree and taking a bite into it. Or taking a vegetable out of the ground and washing it then eating it. You don't even have to cook these foods yet you can, nor are you scared away from them. Nor do they take much effort at all in harvesting. And they taste really good naturally without any spices or herbs or sauces added. Plus you already know eating fruits and vegetables is a healthy thing, I don't think anyone will ever disagree with you on that one. But the society we live in is very delusional. No one cares about math or science, no one cares about education, no one cares about a healthy diet, no one cares if their religion is wrong, people like to live in a fantasy world where meat is perfumed with antibiotics and drugs and think no animal has to suffer and get slaughtered, where taking pills and going to the doctor daily is a normal activity, where cancer, diabetes, and obesity are completely normal, where lack of energy so you need coffee and five hour energy just to move around is completely normal, etc. Just a delusional world. You probably never had this much energy before because you ate a lot of unhealthy junk as well as meat. You'd probably be in better shape than you are right now if you started eating meat. You're fitter now because you've been lazy all your life and never exercised. As for beating experienced runners as a beginner, you must be racing tortoises or something. Even old people who've been running their whole life can easily beat novice runners. Cutting meat out your diet isn't going to suddenly turn you into superman.
I've tried pretty much every diet out there; low meat diet, Mediterranean diet, including the ones without any junk food like the Paleolithic diet Ron (person above) talked about. And yes, I did my research and ate the diets correctly. I felt tired after every meal and always felt like having a nap. I thought that was normal. I went around eating eggs and bacon for breakfast while on the Paleo diet, and felt really sluggish afterwards, and this was just after waking up. Now though my views have changed after doing experimentation and research on eating differently. Another reason I no longer eat meat is that there is literally no point in eating it once you learn the truth, educate yourself, and face the facts. You can live longer without it, feel more energized without it, cure diseases including cancer without it, save money without it, become smarter without it, overall improve your life without it. Let me know if you disagree with any of these statements, or if you think that you DO need meat to survive. Like I said before, in none of my diets did I have any urge to exercise or move around, in part due to the difficulty. I cycled instead of driving every now and then before vegan, but I'd felt BEAT and tired once I got there. Now it's very difficult for me to tire myself out doing any activity, I don't know if you ever felt that experience before, but it's basically like being on caffeine 24/7. That's one reason why there are so many elite level vegan and vegetarian endurance athletes, because it is so difficult to tire yourself out. I am on the verge of 85 and still work as hard as ever. I have lived quite long enough and am trying to die; but I simply cannot do it. A single beef-steak would finish me; but I cannot bring myself to swallow it. I am oppressed with a dread of living forever. That is the only disadvantage of vegetarianism.
As I said, I adopted a vegan diet in 1987 At the time, I was running cross country, and when I dropped meat and dairy products from my diet, my 10k time plummeted from about 46 or 47 minutes down to between 42 and 43 minutes. Basically, when I stopped forcing my body to expend so much energy processing saturated fat, cholesterol, and animal protein, I had more energy, my metabolism sped up, I dropped a few pounds that I didn’t even know I had, and I got faster. I also found that I needed less sleep, had far more energy, and felt happier, just in general. Of course, I am not unique. Vegans are always telling me that they need less sleep and less coffee and have more energy than they ever had before. They also tell me that their newfound energy has made them happier.
Also if you think you can't enjoy Fish, Beef, Chicken, etc, on a vegan diet, there are vegan substitutes of each one that are made of no animal products, are healthier for you, are cheaper to buy and produce, and taste better than real meat (as was taste tested in a live experiment). If you don't believe me, go to ANY vegetarian or vegan restaurant in your area, they will have these meat substitutes of every kind there. Let me know if you can tell the difference between real meat and the veggie meats. There is literally no sacrifice to be made here. None. You improve your health, save your money, improve your energy levels, you can reverse cancer, reverse diabetes, save the animals, save the planet, become smarter, and eat the same kinds of foods as before. Again let me know if you have any contrasting beliefs or disagree with any of these statements. The sad part is, I don't even think veganism is that bad if done properly, but you encourage it like it's a miracle diet that will save you from everything, including low IQ.
Also, I would never watch any video with the title, "how to prevent death". Prevent death? I hate pretentious titles like that, that only serve to lure the reader in.
It's good you just discovered exercise. I don't know many people that go outside for exercise and an hour or two later say, "gee i really feel like having a nap now.." Exercise is supposed to wake you up because it raises your body temperature and gets the blood flowing.
I've already seen enough vegans to know I don't want to ever do veganism. Low test levels in men as well as women losing their periods while on it because they don't get any cholesterol anymore. Problems with their teeth, vitamin deficiencies etc. Not to mention the cult like mentality that comes along with it.
Why even bother posting pictures of greek philosophers? Those quotes can be taken in from so many different perspectives that it's rather pointless and just shows how childish your arguments are.
Woah, so profound!
You should give it a try man, at least for a week, and observe how much better you feel and how much more energy you're having. Video: Benefits I felt after taking meat out of my dietVeganism pretty much saved me from every life issue I was having. There was nothing that became worse thanks to changing my diet, so yes it definitely can be a 'miracle cure' that can solve all problems. Everything became better man, EVERYTHING. My thinking process, my energy levels, my relationships with people, my skills in different fields, everything improved. Also I find it hard to believe you've met 'enough vegans in your life' to know not to try it out. I've met only met ONE vegan my entire life, and he was FIT. How the heck do you know what their testosterone levels were anyway? Did you get a blood test from them? On average vegans have higher testosterone levels than vegetarians who have higher testosterone levels than meat eaters. Problems with teeth and VITAMIN DEFICIENCIES?! LOL? Are you crazy dude? You should be getting way more vitamins and nutrients from this diet with every meal. I have had two teeth removed, several carpal tunnels, lots of teeth fillings, very expensive, and let me tell you that wasn't from a diet of eating fruits and vegetables. My parents for example have very few real teeth left and wear dentures plus they ate only the standard American diet. Even though I've added exercise to daily routine, I'm still having more free time than ever. When you are able to think clearly and when you're always full of energy, you get things done a lot quicker, and it also gives you extra time to double check for any errors. At one point I actually hated exercising, I didn't have any energy, I would always fatigue quickly, and could never catch up or keep up with people in running. I couldn't even run a mile. I'd run two laps around the track and I'd crash. Now I'm not having any problems with energy, my energy levels are through the roof. Instead of taking the car I'm now taking my old bike and cycling, saving myself $30 or more a week, and it is SOOO EASY. So freakin' easy man, no effort at all on my part, it's like my body wants to move, it's actually a lot of fun, and my body feels better afterwards. Let me know why I never had this energy before while eating meat in my diet. I have tried pretty much every diet out there and none of them worked as well as this. If it were so bad for me, if I hated it, I would not be doing it nor would I be talking about my benefits about it. But it hasn't let me down, the food is delicious and healthy, I'm saving lots of money, and honestly I never felt this good in my entire life. Plus I have more care about the animals and the environment than ever before. Let me know why I'm fitter and smarter now than I have ever been in my entire life. Let me know why I'm able to beat people in running races who exercised their entire life, and I only just started.

Why not man? Shouldn't they just be about dead with all kinds of diseases that meat magically creates? Like bro, I thought for sure I would be able to find at least some sort of evidence of disease. What's up with that? What wizardly conclusion can you come up with to explain that?
I also didn't like the China Study by Campbell because he has an apparent agenda. He wasn't presenting the facts as is, he was presenting with intent to sway the read to non-meat lifestyle. It was so apparent from the beginning of the book.
Weston Price at least wrote his book like a journal and not so much with an agenda. It was just a record of his findings, that's all.
Ethics aside, because that's it's own debate, you've made no good points for veganism. Of the vegans I knew, they were very unhealthy and seemed cognitively slow, yet very adamant about their position on veganism.
You only managed to post some voodoo books about "cure your life problems with a vegan diet!" and "cure cancer with veganism! yeah! it's totally the best option out there", type bullshit.
I can start posting links to anthropological evidence that humans have been eating meat for thousands if not hundreds of thousands of years, if you want that. It's very clear and most modern scientist will say humans are omnivores.
Listen to this Podcast by Rich Roll, it's an interview with T. Colin Campbell: http://www.richroll.com/podcast/rrp-79-t-colin-campbell-china-study-critics-plant-based-nutrition-prevent-reverse-disease/I listened to it today while taking a jog/walk for 3 hours. I came back home around 20 minutes ago ago, I still have full energy even after running for so long. I hated running before but I can't stop now, it's so hard to stop moving when you have so much energy. No joke. It's RIDICULOUS. IT'S UNBELIEVABLE. If you think I'm lying by the way, I literally feel like standing up, going outside right now, and running again, despite me being sweaty already, that's what I feel like doing. I never felt SO ALIVE. So anyway here are some facts from the podcast, it covers the 'debunkers' and his life history too by the way which is why I recommend downloading it and listening to it while walking or jogging or whatever: Campbell was raised in a dairy farm. He got a full ride scholarship to go through Cornell University and got a PhD studying biochemistry, nutrition, and microbiology. Full ride all the way through to get his PhD at a top rated Ivy League University studying advanced and diverse scientific topics. Let me know how he can be debunked by a 20 year old English major blogger by the way who has no study of science. He has over 300+ publications, PEER REVIEWED by other scientists and doctors who spent their entire lives studying science, and he eventually became head honcho of Cornell University, holding a senior position and receiving an endowed chair, the HIGHEST academic award and honor of a university. He even admits that while performing the China Study, he was looking for things that REFUTE that animal foods caused cancer. He was completely biased in that direction, he didn't like the idea that animal meat products were bad, but that's exactly what his research showed. PEER REVIEWED. Again let me know how an English major 20 year old blogger debunked him but none of his peers who studied science their entire lives could. You got caffeine to stay awake, you got pills to go to sleep, you got pills to lose weight, pills to have sex, pills to stop pain, pills to calm down, ignore the side effects, ignore a diet cure, and keep eating your meat and taking your pills. Again, check out the video on my signature, "best way to prevent death" if you want to learn more about the SCIENCE behind a plant based diet, how it combats heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc, and how it can help you unlock your true potential in your life. Give it a try, if it doesn't work, whatever, I still applaud you for your efforts in becoming more open minded. Best way to save the planet is through personal responsibility.

You're a complete waste of my time. Done with this debate. You are, by far, one of the most horrible debaters I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. You totally lack the ability to respond directly to a point and instead need to resort to making up other people's arguments for them, and then insult them to death by assuming they're too stupid not to notice. As a result, this entire thread is a transcript of you arguing against yourself and the countless counterpositions that you fabricate. Congrats, you're crazy.
So I'm one of the 'most horrible' but not the most horrible debater you've ever met. Who is that? The Joint, like I said, let me know what I'm doing wrong. If I am so wrong you should be able to refute my points easily. You want to give me a guide on debating so I can follow your guidelines? You want me to stop posting pictures when debating against you? We can start from the beginning, you give me a guideline to follow, and you start off the debate, I'll follow the guideline to the best of my ability, and you can let me know if I do anything wrong.

Is this a serious reply? Did you re-read your post? It makes no sense. You're literally INVENTING arguments. How can meat be the inevitable decline of human health? How could you ever postulate that it's all because of meat. Do no other variables exist? Only smoking and drugs? Not genetics in any way? There is no source or proof on this planet you could site that would prove this, ever. Because it doesn't exist. The china study? Really? I've got that book on my book shelf and stopped reading after the first chapter. It's been debunked to death already multiple times on the internet. Have you read the actual china study? The 1000+ page mammoth study? Because the study itself states that it's an OBSERVATIONAL study and isn't meant to be taken empirically. Observation does not equal causation; the biggest mistake assumed by the china study followers. My parents are great examples of this. My parents both eat meat and have been for over 65 years. My dad is still in great shape-- no belly; still skinny, no sickness or disease-- and still works as a landscaper and is still mentally sharp, my mom looks real good for her age, speaks two languages fluently blah blah blah... Both my parents hardly ever get sick and I don't think my mom has missed a day of work in over 8 years. Your post is so moronic you don't see the irony in that your vegan lifestyle is your religion. The arguments you're posting throughout this thread MIMIC the arguments I used to hear pro-christian people use. In fact it has nothing to do specifically with religion; it's the mindset of the individual. Your mindset-type is all over the spectrum: religion, politics, lifestyle. The same way you said that meat-eaters are brainwashed could be said about vegans-- brainwashed. I knew a chick from my work who was vegan for 3 years + and she was slow in the head, had mood swings and was always acting funny. Not to mention she actually admitted to not have had her period in the time she was vegan. I kept telling her to have some meat and get some cholesterol in her diet to fix this problem. She eventually decided to give it a shot and started eating eggs, then liver and then chicken. She said she felt great and she got her period again. You want the truth coingeneral? The human body is adaptive. You just need to accept it. Humans can eat meat without any problem and, vice-versa, can do a vegan lifestyle (if done properly) as well as paleo or pescitairian etc... Humans are omnivores and that lets us eat just about anything as long as it's prepared properly. Why don't you go read Weston A. Prices' book on "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration". Edit For your time Coingeneral : http://rawfoodsos.com/2010/07/07/the-china-study-fact-or-fallac/How can meat be the cause of decline in human health? First, read the entire China Study, it has not been debunked by Denise Minger, Dr. Campbell replied to her 'debunking' here. "Do I think the China Study findings constitute absolute scientific proof? Of course not. Does it provide enough information to inform some practical decision-making? Absolutely. An impressive and informative web of information was emerging from this study. But does every potential strand (or association) in this mammoth study fit perfectly into this web of information? No. Although most statistically significant strands readily fit into the web, there were a few surprises. Most, but not all, have since been explained." - Dr. T. Colin Campbell. Second, you're claiming "observation does not equal causation" and I agree, yet you're recommending the book by Weston A. Price which is an ANECDOTAL study written in the 1930s by a dentist who looked at teeth health for overall vitality and you give observational examples of healthy meat eaters and unhealthy vegans yourself. Let me know how that isn't hypocritical. You say you've read through a few pages of this thread, a chapter of the China Study, and you agree that 'humans are adaptive' and can live healthily without meat as a vegetarian and vegan. Plus don't forget about reversing cancer, heart disease, diabetes, etc. So do you not care about animals being slaughtered inhumanely, deforestation of the gorgeous Amazon rainforest for cattle ranching, fish extinction due to overfishing, etc? Or do you just want to be part of the population that helps destroy the planet? All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing. Saving the planet starts with personal responsibility.

1). Aside from boxing ability, Jeff Primm was (and now certainly is) provably in better shape than Mike Tyson in his prime (more lean muscle mass with a lower body-fat percentile and comparable agility and stamina). Now, Jeff is in his mid to late 50's and he's still over 250 lbs. at ~6% body fat. He looks like he's in his late 30's and sill has the strength of an NFL linebacker and the speed/agility of a running back. I'd listen to him over Tyson any day, and in any time period.
No one on juice is going to admit they're on it, but no out-of-shape weakling will admit that they aren't jacked because they're relatively ignorant about proper nutrition and exercise.
2). If I asked Jeff for steroids, he'd likely be enormously insulted as that would be like me spitting on all of the knowledge he passed on to me as a result of 30+ years of experience in nutrition and exercise, including knowledge gained while obtaining the dozen or so licenses and certifications he possesses.
Take the advice of Kali Muscle then, he doesn't even do any supplements, no drugs, nothing! All he does is eat clean and exercise for a few hours a day! He is totally legit man, don't ask him about steroids because that will be an insult to his clean and drug free lifestyle: Also Mike Tyson worked out DAILY for freakin' 15 HOURS A DAY. But don't take advice from a person that works hard and wins worldwide championships, take advice from people that do a few machine exercises then gets super huge and runs a gym for profit and sells supplements. There are SO many personal trainers out there that take drugs and steroids man, and everyone not inside that industry is a sucker! I can't believe you are so oblivious! Do you believe that Twin Muscle Workout, Strength Camp Elliot, Mike Chang, etc, are natural too? Mike Tyson workout: I was looking through my old Boxing information, and i came across this information on Iron Mike's conditioning regimen up until 1988-1990. 500 press ups (good old traditional hard millitary style pushups), 800 dips, 2000 sit ups, 500 shrugs with a 30 kg barbell all within a hour timespan. Also, according to the article, up until he fired Kevin Rooney in 1988, his ONLY diet was steak, pasta and fruit juice. How's that for discipline? Daily Regime (7 days a week): 5am: get up and go for a 3 mile jog 6am: come back home shower and go back to bed (great workout for those huge legs of his) 10am wake up: eat oatmeal 12pm: do ring work (10 rounds of sparring) 2pm: have another meal (steak and pasta with fruit juice drink) 3pm: more ring work and 60 mins on the exercise bike (again working those huge legs for endurance) 5pm: 2000 sit-ups; 500-800 dips; 500 press-ups; 500 shrugs with a 30kg barbell and 10 mins of neck exercises 7pm: steak and pasta meal again with fruit juice (orange i think it was) 8pm: another 30 minutes on the exercise bike then watch TV and then go to bed. 3) You're right, you didn't say all drugs are bad. But you did imply that creatine is bad because, as a drug, it is not all natural, and you *did* also imply that all unnatural things are bad. Don't you remember childishly poking fun at me because I take creatine and can't attain my athleticism the all-natural way? The only bad thing you've had to say about creatine is that it isn't all natural; this implies that you think anything unnatural is bad or you wouldn't have anything bad to say about creatine. But, simply put, give any individual a creatine supplement and they will be hands-down better than before -- they will be stronger, have more endurance, and can generate more ATP.
Again, you're claiming to be a "natural" bodybuilder but take DRUGS like creatine and supplements. Plus who knows what other drugs and supplements you experimented with. But since steroids isn't a drug because it grows in our body, everyone on steroids is completely drug-free and natural. 4) No, I didn't bring up veggie meats in the context of being bad because they are full of drugs; I said that I would agree that creatine is unnatural if you agree that a plant designed to look, smell, and taste like a chicken is unnatural. I brought this up because you poked fun at me taking creatine which you consider unnatural; I consider meat-like veggies unnatural. And, again, your whipping out your favorite fallacy (I.e. strawman) because all you're talking about is how processed fast-food meat is bad for you, and I don't even disagree with this. But, it's completely irrelevant for a carnivore-vs.-vegetarian debate. You would be better off omitting this sort of tangential argument. It does absolutely nothing to prove that eating meat is bad for you.
5) I voiced a "concern" about veggie meats only to point out your own contradiction, I.e. that you claimed it's unnatural and thus bad for me to take creatine, and so by that line of reasoning it must be bad to eat veggie meats because they, too, are unnatural. I was fighting back using your own unique blend of sloppy logic. You're just failing to recognize that the irrelevance of my concern is as irrelevant as your stated concerns about creatine and supplements.
Like I said, if you are going to consider anything that grows in your body to be natural, then take steroids, EPO, HGH, etc, and you'll still be fully natural according to your definition of natural. Can you admit the fact that you take drugs to improve bodybuilding performance and can't be classified as "fully natural" in that aspect? Or do you want to "tangent" into strawman talking about how veggie meats are unnatural...? If meat was so healthy and natural, why does it cause so many health epidemics? Take for example obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, etc. Eat meat and your risk for these diseases and unhealthiness skyrockets. However, take a vegetarian or vegan diet up and you can completely reverse your illnesses and become the healthiest version of yourself. I'm so full of energy all the time it's hard to get me to stop. I can jog for hours and hours on end without stopping, I jogged outside recently for over an hour, without stopping, and when I came back home I felt like I could have ran even more. I never felt this good while eating meat, I was NEVER able to run or keep up with people, but I just beat my body builder friend in a 1 mile race, and he's been working out practically his entire life. It's no freakin' wonder so many vegans or vegetarians are running marathons, ultramarathons, etc, all the time because it's so hard to stop moving. So freakin' filled with energy all the time it's like, ZINGGGGG. Plus I no longer drink coffee, no more five hour energy, and I feel fantastic without any stimulants. NONE. CLEAN AND CLEARED. Plus, you don't even know the feeling. You don't even know the natural high feeling of having full energy all the time. Not on any diets I have tried have I ever felt this way. If you think I'm overexaggerating or whatever, I freakin' hated waking up early in the morning, I hated being forced to run outside, usually I would crash in the afternoon so I would usually take a nap or another stimulant, but I'm just so full of energy now I could never have imagined feeling this way before trying it. 6) About 80% of the protein I consume that isn't some type of protein supplement comes from canned tuna. Aside from the presence of mercury which is added by the environment instead of intentionally, please tell me where you got your ridiculous assumption that advertisements and marketing have confused me and manipulated me into eating stuff without any consideration for what I put in my body? Here you just start becoming a pretentious jackass.
Look dude, you're not some enlightened guru. It'd be one thing if the things you're spouting we're actually correct, but to be wrong and clearly proud of it results in me being both embarrassed for you and angry that you might actually be allowed to have children and raise them according to whatever fucked up logic you use (if you haven't already, in which case please pass my condolences to your children).
There's a point at which I have to say, "Okay, I tried but it's clear that this person wants to remain willfully ignorant." This is that point. When you're ready to be an adult and respond to my arguments as I make them instead of going through a process of ignore-fabricate-replace-argue, then I'll continue to engage in this debate. How can I possibly respond to your argument when the topic of argument shifts at your whim every paragraph?
I'm not an enlightened 'guru' but I am enlightened and open minded. At one point in your life no doubt you were eating at fast food restaurants, Burger King, McDonalds, etc, because everyone else you knew ate it, and you saw advertisements in TV about it, thought it was the normal thing to do. Fair enough, I did the same, going through drive-thru's, eating 'happy meals' and such. Then you got information from somewhere that fastfood wasn't good for you, so you stopped eating them or stopped frequenting them as much. MOST people aren't like you though. Unfortunately the majority of people will never learn to research information on the foods they eat or what effects it has on their health. Some people know junk food is bad for them, smoking is bad for them, fast food is bad for them, etc, but take it anyway because they're not thinking of long-term results. Let me know why it's okay to overfish the tuna population, torture innocent fish then slit their throats causing excrutiating pain upon death, cause extinction, etc, just so you can have your can of tuna for that day or whatever. Yeah dude let's kill off the entire ocean and make all fish extinct! Screw the next generation growing up, let's use up all our natural resources, cut down all the trees, destroy the Amazon rain forest, screw up the environment, just so people can have heart attacks, die at a younger age, become obese, get cancer, mercury poisoning, etc! Taking care of the planet starts with personal responsibility.

1) It has absolutely no relevance to the topic whether steroids or other drugs are used, are easy to hide or mask, etc. This is you going off on random tangents because you have nothing to support your core argument.
2) If, as you claim, all top athletes are doped, then why are you referencing Mike Tyson? Surely he must be doped too, because you just said he is. You are the problem with stupid people --you think you're smarter than smart people, and therein lies your stupidity.
Yo, if you actually read what I said, I don't contradict myself. I said vegetarian and vegan athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, olympics, etc, take steroids as well, just like meat eaters do. I never said that they don't. I never said Mike Tyson didn't take them either, he most likely did. But you're putting words into my mouth. So again, who should I take advice from, the three time heavyweight boxing champion of the world, or a guy who claims he doesn't take steroids and won a muscle flexing contest? 3). Jeff Primm won the natural Mr. Universe title and he has pictures and video of the competition. This completely nullifies your bullshit quotes from random youtubers. But I'm sure you think it's more wise to listen to Internet strangers than to someone who trained under his direct supervision for 4+ years. But, if random youtubers are so trustworthy, then all is need to do is find one random comment denouncing vegetarianism and that would prove vegetarianism is inferior...right? (Sarcasm)
10) One more thing about Jeff Primm as he is my friend and I still communicate with him. If you continue to insist that he used steroids or other drugs to win the Mr. Universe title or the buttload of other titles he has, then I will make sure to forward the information to him. I'm sure he is concerned about libelous and/or slanderous comments since he is a businessman and endorses various nutritional products.
You know who else won the 'Natural' Mr. Universe title? Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also has pictures and video of the competition, so this completely nullifies that Arnold took steroids, right? I don't know anything about Jeff Primm, but like I said no one on the juice is just going to admit they are juicing. Yet, it's easy to get away with it because it's practically undetectable. Watch the videos I linked above, professional athletes talking about how everyone inside the industry is doing steroids, and how easy it is to do steroids and get away with it. I suggest asking Mr. Primm privately, "hey Jeff, it's me The Joint, what's up man how are you? I'm looking to get into some steroids, not a lot but I just want to try it out, you know where I can get them from and how much? Again I don't want to do a lot of it, just want to try it out." 4) You seem to be so focused on what creatine and other supplements are classified as rather than what they actually do. It's as if you're suggesting that anything unnatural (whatever that means) is bad, and all drugs are unnatural, and so therefore all drugs are bad. Again, are you really this fucking stupid
6) What does posting pictures of fast food meat have anything to do with your argument against meat-eating in general? Everyone knows fast food is processed to death.
I thought the topic was meat-eating vs. vegetarianism. You've managed to create imaginary topics on the fly including supplementing bodybuilders vs. non-supplementing bodybuilders, fast food vs. regular food, vegetarian karate instructors vs. meat-eating amateur bodybuilders, etc.
*READ THE LAST PATAGRAPH*. You are completely oblivious to how insane your style of debating is. The only weapon in your debate arsenal is pure confusion. And ill admit, it's working, because I have no idea how to fuck you come up with the responses that you do. The worst part is that you actually seem to think that you can just ignore your opponents arguments entirely and replace them with your own.
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. I never said all drugs are bad, I never said everything unnatural was bad. Please don't put words into my mouth that I never said. You argued that natural bodybuilders don't take drugs or supplements, then you say you take creatine but are all natural. And yet creatine is a drug. So you say creatine is naturally created, so it's not a drug. Then again, steroids, human growth hormone, EPO, etc, are also created naturally by the human body therefore by your definition you can take steroids and still be 'fully natural'. 5) Where the fuck did you get the idea that it made sense to start posting picture of McDonald's "pink slime?" What relevance does any of that have to what you were responding to? Are you a goldfish? I really don't have much to say but, "Okay, that's a picture. Now what the fuck are you trying to say?"
You brought up concern about veggie meats claiming what drugs and other stuff they put on there, I answered your question that since these companies are usually run by other vegans and vegetarians, they care about people's health. So they usually don't put any additives, or MSG, or GMO, or pesticides, etc, into them and try to make it as healthy as possible. Flavoring comes from spices, like Popeye's Chicken or General Tso chicken, they're both chicken but flavored differently thanks to the different spices, which are pure vegetarian and can be also added to other foods. I put up that picture because even though you don't eat veggie meats, you had huge concern over them for some reason. Yet, you eat the crap that the meat industry produces, bombarded with advertisements day in and day out, but blindly don't question what they put in them? I wanted to show you the truth. The facts. Because you don't get showed them in real life, just like you don't know what drugs athletes are taking on a daily basis. These things happen behind closed doors.

CoinGeneral, you're so misinformed that I think you need to take a step back and rethink everything you've said so far. I only read the first few pages since this thread is pretty long now, but I think I've got the gist of what is being said here. First of all, you have NO IDEA how much irony is being spewed from your mouth. That comparison chart of atheists/ vegans vs christians / meat-eating is the most retarded chart ever and only a person with extreme views would use such a an example to prove a point. It's beyond straw-man and is just dumb. You don't think there are vegan christians or meat-eating atheists? That disproves your whole chart; it had no basis to even exists as an argument. You're literally grouping non-existent ideas and putting them forward as an argument. I spent a good week or so reading and reading and even emailed the great Gary Yourosky. After one email reply from him he stopped answering me. It was unfortunate because I had so many questions and he said his site (which DID provide a lot of answers) that he didn't even bother to respond after I had a full essay of questions afterwards. I also spent a good amount of time watching videos from "freelee banana girl" and watching "durianrider" videos where they take in something crazy like 10,000 calories a day and are still skin and bones thin. It was really interesting and I was fascinated how it worked. I read a lot of different conclusions online; most of them had to do with our body not being able to take in all the calories due to the fiber and others stated it had to do with all the endurance exercise they did as well. None the less, my conclusion was that the human body is exceptional and can ADAPT when it needs to. Whether paleo, vegan or just bread and water for the week. The human body can get what it needs when it has nothing else to take from. ----- If meat was SO bad for humans and if our bodies were not evolved for eating meat then we would simply be sick very soon after eating meat every time. Which obviously isn't the case. If our stomach were not meant for meat then our bodies would reject it. Yet the human body has a stomach ph level of around 1.5 to 3.5 and the intestinal length required to fully digest it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastric_acidI've been eating meat my whole life (only 22 years albeit) and I'm doing just fine. I have no bowel problems and pass stool just fine and I feel energetic in the morning blah blah blah. You also forgot one important aspect about humans. We are at the top of the food chain because of our brains. Our intelligence is what allowed us to cook food, preserve food, and use technology to enhance food production for our sake. Humans have been eating meat for hundreds of thousands of years and without killing animals it could be argued that humans may not have survived the ice age. Animals provided clothing, weapons and food. You can ask me those questions instead, I don't know as much as Gary Yourofsky obviously, but he gets a crap ton of emails so he will have a hard time answering them all in which case I'll fill in for him. The thing is that, smoking, meat, cocaine, etc, these things are bad for our health as well, but obviously the health effects don't show right away. You're at tender young age of 22, you won't see many health problems with people in your age group, even smokers, meat eaters, cocaine addicts, alcoholics, all probably look healthy to you and everyone is doing well. As you grow older you'll have friends who were skinny that have now become obese, friends who were athletic and healthy that have now contracted a fatal disease, friends who were smart throughout their schooling but have now become slow and dumb. It's a gradual process, you gotta understand that most things in life are not acquired instantaneously; intelligence, strength, health, etc, these are all built up over many years of slow progress and many people throw their time away in neglect not improving in any aspect. As you become older, you'll know friends who have gotten cancer, heart attacks, kidney stones, stroke, diabetes, etc, and it's a sad thing to see, yet a vegetarian or vegan diet can make you much more resistant to these illnesses or even reverse them completely, it will make you feel better about yourself, become smarter, stronger, live longer, and have a higher quality of life. Many people switch to taking meat out of their diets for health benefits after suffering from a certain condition. I personally know people who have gotten cancer, who have died of cancer, who committed suicide, who have diabetes, heart disease, have to take pills every morning, have to visit the doctor every day, it's tragic. It's tragic and depressing what lifestyle and diet can do to people long term. What I suggest is to have a more open mind, to give taking meat out of your diet a try. If it doesn't work for you then that's no problem, at least you gave it some effort to improve your health. Or maybe you might switch to become a vegetarian or vegan later in life, like I said I've seen many people become sick and die. You probably have not seen much sickness or deaths in your age group, but as you get older you'll start to see it more and more. Check out the video "Best way to prevent death" in my signature. Benefits I felt after taking meat out of my diet

Are you intentionally or accidentally stupid?
If I'm wrong, let me know which points you think I'm wrong on. Don't just reply with a question with no right answer.
