agitated So I'm fairly new to Cryptocurrency (Dec2017). After logging into Coinbase and transferring $1000 in BTC to GDAX and then transferring that $1000 BTC to Cryptopia I find that Byteball trading has been "broken" for months on that shit exchange. Tons of posts about people holding Bytes they can't retrieve. So I send the money back to my web wallet and get hit $10 in fees (FUCK CRYPTOPIA). So I google other options and see I can buy on Bittrex. Go and try to create an account but they aren't accepting new users. Long story short, I spend an hour and a half only to not own any GBYTE and lose $10 in BTC. I'm no whale and that attempted purchase accounts for half of my holdings. -deep

I'm new to mining and would like to try and solo mine this coin. Mostly to teach myself how to do it. I used an old guide from 2014 https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/topic/9505-how-to-solo-mine/ and this is what happened... Anyone help me out? I'm really trying to learn here but failing. I would really like to try solo mining with my GPU rig. I'm new and after a ton of research most of what I'm finding is very dated. Anyone willing to help explain it to a newbie? Let's say I wanted to solo mine Alqo. I have read I need to create a config file but I don't understand the RPC things or where to find these values for different coins. Anyone? I'd throw some coins at someone who explained it and helped me get going. -deep

I'd love some help setting up my ccminer in solo mode. I only have 4 cards and don't mind if I never hit a block. Just can't seem to find any info on how to set it up. Any help appreciated. -deep
