1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【BOT】C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader 2.8 |145+Trusts| now On BitFinex! on: May 02, 2015, 01:08:48 AM

yes, i had it working on a overclocked model b, (not a b+ or the new a pi 2)
i recommend using it on a pi 2 (as the pi b or b+ will be extremely SLOW, and may lock up on you)
follow my directions here (meant for the pi model B) https://sites.google.com/site/kitty314159/
please note that this guide is not all inclusive it does however show you a basic setup
it includes installing the distro, compiling unrar, and installing oracle java

i would also like some feedback on the guide, with any improvements i should add, or any changes i should make

Thanks, I'll take a look, though I have managed to get it running myself on the B+, works better actually that it does on my win8.1 desktop actually.
Which is odd seeing as that has a crapload of RAM and CPU power... on an ssd drive too, windows is just crap. moving to Linux in house anyway.

I've even got the monitor for the RPi rotated to a portrait orientation, looks quite neat on a 16:4 monitor.
Just need to gat a good VMC setup going for the RPi now :-)

you mean vnc.
i setup rdp (using 'xrdp' as the server) is a bit easier to install and run

for client software i use
on linux i use reminna, on windows i use mRemoteNG

just a query to all out there using C.A.T, has anyone managed to get C.A.T to run on a raspberry Pi?

the built in java on the Pi does not seem to be compatible. Sorry if this has been asked before, I'll go take a look throughout the thread in any case just in case.

I'm going to try the Java Embedded from Oracle and see if I can get it to work.

btw, I seem to have C.A.T locking up on me on Windows, the GUI becomes so sluggish it becomes unusable. not sure if there is a solution to this. I know it cant be memory related as i have 32Gb of ram in my system and its an i7 Quad core CPU, I'm running the latest Java mins. In any case it does seem to be running okay for a day or so non stop on the Windows desktop.

[EDIT]
Snip!.... err! Doh! I just needed to use the -jar switch on the RPi LOL...

Sorry, must go put my head through a wringer now.... :-/

i have some suggestions:
i would like the ability to "restore all orders (allmarket+onlysite)" in the "market global actions" (useful for when cat or my computer crashes)
i would also like the ability to clear the trade log (maybe also in the market global actions)
also can you make the "market global actions" list scroll
also i would like to set change the default parameters to a custom setting without the need to utilize a market save

i keep my deposit addresses in a spreadsheet
heres a sample of my file

exchangecoin namecoin codeaddress
CryptsyBitcoinBTC13DohkwygfWetQ6V8tfGYWexHfKBd8CXnF
my only problem is generating the addresses, as on most exchanges that takes hours

does bot supports coinbase exchange?
im not samepy, but no it does not support coinbase, besides the coinbase exchange is not up and running yet (the basic buy sell orders are working but not the full exchange)
heres all the exchanges it supports and their prices

if your not a cat owner you would need cat core and your exchange(s)
pricing works as follows
buy the base program and then add your exchanges (see graphic above for price list)
ie.
core + cryptsy + BTCe = BTC0.6 + BTC.2 + BTC.1 = BTC.9
for existing users buying cryptsy and btce = BTC.2 + BTC.1 = BTC.3

in all honesty i doubt sampey will support coinbase as they only support 1  pair USD/btc
plus you MUST be a resident in the USA to use coinbase.
all other exchanges supported have many pairs, for example cryptsy has over 400 pairs
all the exchanges i use dont have any location restrictions.

how do i make it so orders are not made if the trade is worth less than say 1 xpy (or another altcoin based on the market)

also how do i reduce a order by the last trade profits (damn dislexia, i cant express it right) okay a hypothetical scenario instead (all numbers are just examples)
a ping pong just completed in market btc/ltc with a sell as a start. with a total order of 3.3 ltc
i want to set the profits aside for other/new markets based on the original order value
the profits were .0003 or 12.5%
i now want to start a new order with a reduction in price of .0003 (the 12.5 %)

im sure you know by now that the cryptsy fee is now based on your trade volume. can you make it so CAT can calculate this
on cryptsy some accounts have no trade fee as well

can you add the following feature
keyboard shortcuts (or better yet customizable keyboard shortcuts)
for example
F5 to "Update Parameters (Current Market)"
F6 = "validate status parameter (current market)"
alt+F6 to "validate status parameter (all markets, Current exchange)"
y = activate yes Button on prompt
n = activate No button on prompt

Where are you shipping from? Is the Gridseed modded? Any pictures?
sorry for the delay
the only changes are the following
i put a fan grate on it
removed the thermal pads and put ceramique 2 on it (the pads were dusty and dirty and drying out)
i will post some pics in a few minutes (cropping, compressing and uploading them) they are not the most clear because my camera is a galaxy tab 3 (which has a 3 MP camera)

You can sell them around the forum. How much are you looking for the Gridseed and the Antminers?
about $10 USD in bitcoin (converted using preev)

i created a thread here
14  Economy / Marketplace / Re: used miners, where do you sell them? on: February 25, 2015, 09:37:54 PM
Have you tried - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0 ?

And just use one of the forums' escrows (some are free) , or try out https://www.bitrated.com (some are free as well)
do you happen do own bitrated? Because I have seen you spamming that site a lot recently. Also any website escrow service is going to be vulnerable to manipulation and social engineering and are generally not safe to use.
um. thats not me

Well no, it's the C.A.T.'s right of use.
thats what i meant. i now that a licence key is justy that a licence with no claim to the software
Quote
Quote
also you should include 1 api with a new base software purchase (and license transfers have no api included)
edit: or discount new api activation

1 API is mandatory when you buy a new C.A.T. copy. But because API have different price i cannot include 1 Api in the base package.
I usually do discounts.

thanks for the quick replys and you cleared up all my questions
edit: forgot a tag
edit 2: put the tag in the wrong place
