1  Economy / Speculation / Re: new tax rumor on crypto on: May 15, 2021, 05:17:12 PM
with the tax news flying around , the crypto market was really hit hard and still crawling from recovery. if finally validated, what effects will it have on crypto markets and its traders. please share your views and thoughts.

There are countries that taxed their users, but so far here in our country, we are not, maybe the regulators have overlooked us or they think that we are a small community that they need not tax us, but with Cryptocurrency a growing community and an advancing industry here in our country, they will one day caught us and make us pay taxes, I should be prepared for this.

You can't prevent things to happened, along the way with crypto's wide acceptance,

the chance that your country will learned and understand the losses that maybe they overlooked or due to un-awareness they are not

implying taxes yet, but sooner  or later once they've realized that rules will be there to chase those crypto holders.

No longer small community around the world so expect that it will happen not far from now.
But from the information that I understand about crypto, each wallet address and transaction seems to be a string of characters, it is unclear about the origin and it is relatively difficult to query the exact owner, although governments have control over the internet system but their scope is also within permissible issues, the rules of privacy and individual rights still need to be preserved. Tax requirements are an unlikely expectation when crypto is not a small field, need very intensive settings to impose taxes
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for good projects on: May 15, 2021, 04:56:30 PM
too many new tokens and too much thinking about how to return the capital quickly after buying one of these tokens
for me, just choose everything so that the disappointment is not too much and after that save it until later the high price of the initial capital..
It's confusing how many people are always rushing into new tokens, the quality of these projects is really uneven, sometimes very bad and sometimes very high, sifting is already a big problem, I don't understand why we still like to spend so much time on such projects, the profit of a few projects cannot make us successful enough and satisfied after the failures. Once we have decided to go to a good project, top altcoins will be the most likely opportunities, uniform quality and excellent preserved profit according to quality
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think if DOGE will pump like this if it was not listed in Binance? on: May 15, 2021, 04:34:44 PM
I was just thinking about DOGE since it's the hottest altcoin at the moment, so I came up with this scenario, what if DOGE was not listed in Binance, will it pump like this big? Which is more influential, Elon or Binance?

Dogecoin pump has no connection with Binance exchange this is because there are many other coins that are not Binance exchange and are doing very well. The pump was as the result of the fources of demand and supply in the crypto currency market.
I don't think so, other exchanges can also train the pumps but the pumping rate will usually be low as very few investors are interested in a shoddy exchange, with binance exchange, it will be a highlight as the roles and projects they list and pump are all very welcome. But in principle, the pumping will also be very limited when the community lacks compelling news and here the birth of Elon Musk is the result that leads to the value of dogecoin.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: May 15, 2021, 04:07:08 PM
By 2030, hopefully I'm already financially stable. I will continue to invest in different investment vehicles that will help me secure my future as well as my family's. I don't plan to be complacent so that when my retirement year comes, I'll be able to enjoy all the things that I want with my remaining years, without bothering my children to provide for me.

Investing and playing with crypto will definitely be in my list. But of course, I'll still remind myself to set boundaries and to diversify where to put my hard-earned money. After all, nothing is ever certain, so might as well put your funds in different platforms to avoid future troubles. I will strive till I achieve the life that can make me contented and genuinely happy.
I also hope the finances will be stable but perhaps first, we should get through the first challenges like the pandemic and the aftermath, two such situations will really affect our future calculations, normally I would try to invest and save some money to do business in 2030 but with the magnitude of the pandemic, it will probably be difficult for the economy to recover until that time. Crypto investment probably won't change much, as long as it's kept and developed, that's what we should do continuously.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: May 15, 2021, 03:52:03 PM
For the first time in history, money is separated from the state. Bitcoin aims to be an alternative to Fiat currencies by providing financial inclusion to anyone, anywhere in the world. A system governed by mathematics and cryptography will put an end to corruption once and for all. The pioneer cryptocurrency can be used globally without limitations thanks to its decentralized model. People can send cross-border payments in minutes without the need for ID verification, background checks, or credit checks of any kind. This brings a whole new era of financial sovereignty as we know it.

What do you think? Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? If not, why? Is it still too early to tell? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Smiley

Bitcoin covers fiat's current shortcomings. I think bitcoin is a modern currency with no controls that interests him is limited bitcoin. Makes a lot of people want to learn bitcoin technology. However, bitcoin has limitations in terms of its current backup. If someone loses a wallet. no one can find it.
I don't know what will be the shortcoming of Fiat because the basic features, even some higher demands on the services, Fiat always provides enough for every user, money transfer is also very fast, payment is also safe, lending service is also reasonable while bitcoin only impresses with lack of control and madness in value. Better price is a strong point but comparing range and serviceability, fiat is still the factor that contains more satisfaction
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: May 14, 2021, 06:36:19 PM

hi guys
I am wondering where you guys ll invest 1000 usd, which has got a chance to get insane profit.
Please can you give reason as well
Thanks

of course I will definitely invest in a safe cryptocurrency and the price will definitely increase every time, therefore I will definitely invest in altcoin that are in the top 10 on coinmarketcap to be used as a long-term investment, because the price will definitely increase when an altseason occurs and very safe for long-term investment, then I recommend you to invest in :
1. Ethereum
2. Binance
3. Cardano
I can understand the reasons you put Ethereum and Binance coin on this list but for Carnado, I don't feel that it would fit to be placed behind Ethereum and BNB because some of my recent experiences with it have not been very enjoyable, bought at a pretty good price, but the profit is probably not too appropriate. Even if it's in a bullish phase, its value hasn't effectively improved, growth is in an excessively safe zone, which increases my frustration about the waiting process
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: May 14, 2021, 06:18:02 PM
of course not, I prefer to swap my crypto for Lamborghini than Tesla (I think Lamborghini is cooler than Tesla) and of course than I bought Tesla, then I better still HOLD my crypto, because I believe that in the next 10 years, I can swap my crypto for 3 Tesla and if I swap now then I only get 1 Tesla, so of course I will definitely regret it if I swap my crypto for Tesla right now.
And just like that the opportunity that we had to buy a Tesla with our bitcoin is gone, Elon has withdrawn that ability with some lame excuse, some say that sooner or later that option is going to make a comeback but I am not so sure, quite honestly I tought that Elon was smarter than this, whenever people think of buying something luxurious with their coins they always talk about lambos, I thought this was a strategy to replace lambos with teslas but it seems that was not the case.
The opportunity has been erased but step through this grim, would we enjoy buying the car from a company that doesn't live up to its promises and likes to change their mind constantly? A crypto user and a future customer will certainly feel the lack of respect, Elon Musk may be a billionaire and smarter than many others but arrogance always comes at the expense of envy and dislike from others, Tesla's next crypto payment gateways will only be a formality, it will no longer be a reality worth considering.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Don't easily lend out money. on: May 14, 2021, 06:02:07 PM
Borrow or lend out money from or to traders, i think people should really avoid it because it can possibly make both of side lose on assets. Traders who borrow our money can possibly lose in their trading, and they will really hard to pay our money because even for trade they can't use their own money. If me, professional or amateur trader who want to borrow money from me, i will say no and i not want that thing happens to me no matter who it is.
Indeed, borrowing money should be a service provided by banks or their family acquaintances, instead of us because facing the online system, we have no chance to recover and catch the borrower after a loss, the government can't even keep track of these people, our network is also too small to consider them. The crypto world has too many people who lack credibility and responsibility, traders are also too greedy, so both sides are at fault and should give up these greedy actions.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you guys use bitcoin for? on: May 14, 2021, 05:48:23 PM
Are you guys currently using bitcoin to make payments or making purchases with bitcoin? maybe for invest only? I'm just wondering if bitcoin  will recover from that tesla did.
I usually prefer to hold it but if I have to buy some good or service online and they accept btc, I happily make payment in btc.
Btc was created for a means of payment and not for holding. Btc real use is like a money and not like gold. In other words it is digital money not digital gold
In recent days, you have also seen how the intention to pay with bitcoin is a bad opportunity especially when it falls into the hands of large corporations, they can evaporate billions of dollars in a few hours, so eliminating such ideas will help the environment and our future path to be better developed. In terms of value, bitcoin is already seen as a formal investment, old and outdated ideas such as payment or remittance should be ignored
10  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 14, 2021, 05:31:12 PM
A sudden price drop in the crypto markets along with the deepening points loss in the dow jones point to a a slow and steady downward trend as of late. Is the bull run of 2021 over? Are these the marks of the beginning of something much worse to come? A major recession, a new crypto winter? What could possibly be next? Any comments and thoughts are more than welcome.
The price drop that occured is definitely correlated to Elon Musk's removing of bitcoin as a mode of payment in Tesla. He has a huge influence to investors considering that he is a billionaire that's why the price of bitcoin was hardly affected by his decision. He is currently supporting dogecoin and no one knows yet what is his plan with it. So far, bitcoin's price has finally recovered and at almost $50k once again. Bitcoin is a strong currency that's why we should never give up on whenever it experiences a struggle, just like what it always does, it will soon recover and exceed more ATH in the future.
Sure, Elon Musk can't shirk responsibility when this is basically a deliberate act, he wants people to adopt a new product in payment and that could be dogecoin and very quickly, we will realize that Elon Musk's absence is sometimes a good thing, someone who causes too much trouble should disappear. Dogecoin should also go down the same path when Elon Musk has put his hand in, this cake won't taste as good as many people think, bitcoin is still better according to the community's opinion.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: May 13, 2021, 03:07:47 PM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin
I guess the main reason why many crypto enthusiasts are hodling shitcoins is because they do believed that it can be more valuable over time and we have seen some of shitcoins that pump massively this year that give almost a 1000% gain for them.
A millionaire from luck, those are the thoughts of someone trying to throw more money at shitcoins, this plan really is not too bad when you have identified the correct thing, a large amount of shitcoins are enjoying all the services and benefits this year through the bull season. The profit levels are remarkable but I don't feel such hoarding will balance our account, too much desire but too few wallet addresses that can go high, mostly just holding more tokens with no upside potential
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla destroys bitcoin :-[ on: May 13, 2021, 11:45:12 AM
The bitcoin volatility is not totally caused by any social media platform, if you got shaken by this thing, then you are probably new in the crypto world, there is no surprise with regard to this thing, just keep holding, you might lose the chance to earn more if you are going to sell it all by just what happened to bitcoin right now.
Not completely but a piece of the puzzle that has left its place, all is still enough for bitcoin to go under the control of the media because whales are in dire need of such powerful undertakings, a suitable impact to lead to a price drop, Elon Musk and Tesla really give an unexpected card in decisive moments. However, a good investor will know how to lift their holdings to another level, such a bad trend will turn to a good outcome, bitcoin's time has proven this.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: May 13, 2021, 10:55:56 AM
And so cycle repeats again, last time I check the price is on the $49k mark.

So this month is not really good for us, we all thought that the price can't go down below $50k and yet here we are in the middle of the week. In any case though, all crypto are down as well not just BTC so it's a sign that there is something going on behind, so let's take advantage of the situation again, price is cheap and at a discount, so if you are a investor, another great opportunity to enter.
This is not the time to take advantage of this discount as the sea of blood has just begun to come upon us, choosing a discount to buy would probably be risky as the market could continue to break these discounts, creating a huge sell-off. Can't believe our king fell in a fairly short night, resistance has also faded, it is difficult to say when these losses will be corrected but hopefully a few short days will be enough to give bitcoin a new impetus, which is also the general psychology of investors right now.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: May 13, 2021, 10:38:11 AM
look at the coins with a very large total supply, pay attention to the volume and money of these coins and buy them when they are cheap, then you bet someone will promote these coins in the future.
Or atleast your coin must survive in longterm.
Bet a lot on the next doge, today everyone got a suitable result, one that will probably end the trend of choosing altcoins that have a large supply and like to be pumped, pretty much liquidated today and I believe the bet was wrong, our lottery ticket has failed. Searching for such projects will give us two very opposite results but most of us are relying on pure luck, I do not recommend, our choices need more assurance, instead of looking for special opportunities
15  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: May 13, 2021, 10:24:02 AM
What I learned from Musk's influence is that whenever someone who has the influence that can move market, I better get in early on that market they are shilling because the market moves base on trends and if they can make it trending, you better be an early adopter because their influences wane and if you are just part of the crowd, it will be too late to make a profit.
Instead of chasing your choice, I choose other quiet parts of the market because for an influencer, they never let us know that we have come sooner or later, we cannot act solely on such a trend, looking at the value of the projects that the market pursues, quite a few investors have lost money to Elon Musk just because of one of his decisions. Today, a sad day for many people when they want to follow the crowd, learning from Elon Musk is learning how to control the game.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: May 11, 2021, 04:49:33 PM
Almost all sports such as golf, wrestling, cricket are used as a betting arena, even some countries and large companies in the world have made sports one of the businesses to get large funds.
So because I love the sport of football, I think this sport is very good to bet on and very much in demand.
I also agree with your opinion, friend, it is undeniable that the most popular sport of football, in Europe and Asia 80% likes football, so in my opinion the best bet is also in soccer, because in soccer there are games. interesting to watch ..
It is no coincidence that football is considered a king sport globally, with relatively high viewership ratings in each country, especially in major tournaments around the world, football really attracts a lot of people who have a passion for sport and of course, a little bit of betting is indispensable in every game, too easy to analyze the teams, enough knowledge will help us to achieve many winnings in betting but also quite a lot of addiction, when their odds are relatively large and in many different variations.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: May 11, 2021, 04:33:04 PM
There are actually so many exchanges existing in the crypto space already, the successful ones are the ones which got the features of what the crypto users wants. Tho people's choice varies you know, but at first everyone would love an exchange with an easy user interface especially the newbies, secondly! Security,  everyone wants an exchange which is very secured because no one would wants to loose his or her funds to hackers and this is why so many people in the crypto space prefers a decentralized finance, lastly I think people in crypto space doesn't like KYC because there like being anonymous.
KYC reveals too much identity but if members don't participate in that process, the chances of them being able to withdraw money every day will be much less, this is also the point that many people are interested in choosing an exchange, they need an exchange that can withdraw pretty well every day without KYC. And that exchange's asset protection should be good enough as you said, no one wants to lose money, and when the exchange and the user lose money unreasonably, the exchange should have a suitable settlement, instead of letting the user accept the fate
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is pumping now. on: May 11, 2021, 04:13:35 PM
It cannot be erased from people's minds that XRP is currently facing a lawsuit; this also poses a significant risk to consumers of the coin, as it will result in a loss of confidence if the price drops; it also poses a significant risk for large transactions; just imagine losing 20% of your money when transacting a million-dollar transaction; the risk will be enormous. Many believe that if XRP prevails in court, the price of the cryptocurrency would skyrocket. But I believe this is a very surprising development for XRP, and we will have to wait to see what happens with XRP and the SEC in the future.
There is no need to wait too long for this, because the signs of winning are already very visible on XRP, because winning or losing is not seen in terms of decreases and rising prices in the market, but through real news and not speculation, well if you are currently this still doubts the XRP token which was once ranked third in crypto, so leave it, don't waste your time on it.  Grin

XRP is not anymore rank 3rd in crypto.

you can see the updated ranking now. https://coinmarketcap.com/

XRP drop to rank 7, that's because other altcoins have perform better than XRP, and DOGE and Cardano beat XRP in ranking.
Yes, our giant still maintains a relatively new form on the outside but deep inside, this system is probably rotten, its rankings are seriously declining, maybe now it only retreated to a few positions but maybe next, it will be a bigger revolution. Reputation and hype have ceased to be its biggest strengths as so many new projects have shown their strength this year, it is hard to believe that a big boss will have such failed days, involving too much bad news
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 11, 2021, 03:57:18 PM
I don't think Musk is doing it due to greed. He may or maynot be profiting with these hypes he create, but most of his tweets comes to challenge the establishment. He's a vocal supporter of crypto and decentralization. He likes to challenge the established economic system. He even spoke in favor of wallstreetbets which basically is a revolt against institutional control of free market.
If Elon Musk doesn't have greed, what would stimulate him to do such crazy things, I believe he has also taken into account situations where the community is stimulated in such a way, a brilliant investor like him is too used to reading other people's minds, the selection for dogecoin may be random and he feels this project may rise more than others. Elon Musk has always been a fan of arrogance, the companies he contributes to show his personal character, is very confident and does things differently from the average person.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RUMOUR: Facebook will announce they hold #Bitcoin on: May 11, 2021, 03:38:15 PM
In my opinion, it is very unlikely that the Facebook company will adopt bitcoin, didn't they previously say that bitcoin is not good for investment because there is no guarantor for the asset, so they make their own stablecoin called libra and which can guarantee our assets like conventional currencies in general , but so far there has been no sign of launch.
It would be absurd to believe the word of a large corporation like Facebook, their vague policies and statements are always plans to distract competitors, they don't care about bitcoin but they have implemented the libra project in the past and this project wants to be successful, it forces a link to bitcoin. The actual theory and action are inconsistent, most likely they are coming up with another plan into bitcoin as soon as they see bitcoin has grown too much.
