1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner-MULTI AMD & CPU Miner 0.5.4 Win & Linux on: November 04, 2020, 01:00:02 AM
I decided to experiment.
I took a server 2012 on which it does not work, installed Hyper-V there, deployed Windows 7 - it works without problems, I also deployed Windows 10 and also without any problems (I did not even turn off the firewall).
Since I have Windows Server 2008,2012,1019 then I have deployed Windows Server 2016 and it DOES NOT WORK.
Also, when launched on Windows Server 2019, it swears at libcrypto 1-1_x64.dll

There is no such error on Windows 2008,2012,2016.

Thanks for the info. I have an idea.
Try settings HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\AuthRoot\DisableRootAutoUpdate to 0

I think the issue is with certificates because miner connects on https.

This "internet connect" issue is very likely because of interference from IE ESC. You need to disable this as an admin as the miner seems to get blocked by some restrictions IE ESC imposes.

Open Server Manager as an admin, click on Local Server, open up the IE ESC option and set both admin and user options to "Off". You'll then need to log off or reboot for the change to take effect. This solved the identical issue I was having on Server 2016 installs.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.9.1 — NVIDIA GPU Miner on: September 27, 2018, 12:02:10 AM
# Release 0.9.2 - (September 26, 2018)

 * New CryptoNightSaber (BitTube) algorithm
 * Improve Allium and Phi2 for 1070, 1070 Ti, 1080, 1080 Ti
 * Allow to set intensity per GPU
 * Fix failover mechanism
 * Disable miner to auto-start after system restart
 * Add crash reporting mechanism. Check Readme for more information

Not sure if others are seeing similar behavior, but the phi2 algo on 0.9.2 (all Windows CUDA builds, using 411.63 drivers) seems to bias performance on GPU0 vs. all the other GPUs on two different rigs.

On CD 9.1, I calculated a 5% delta in performance between GPU0 and GPU1 (both identical 1080ti) for phi2. On CD 9.2, this jumps to over 12%. No OC, stock PL.

After benchmarking all 6 x 1080ti in a rig, GPU0 always ends up over 1 MH/s better than all the others but only on phi2. Tests on allium, neoscrypt and lyra2z all show expected deltas in performance between GPUs.

It almost feels like an optimization was applied in code for phi2 specifically, but they forgot to apply it to any GPU past the first.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: August 21, 2018, 08:48:17 PM
This has probably been asked before, but I was unable to find anything.

V 3.3 is there a way to NOT use a particular miner?  Cryptodredge and my system do not like each other.

Just delete the miner file (i.e. CryptoDredge.ps1) from the Miners subdirectory.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: July 17, 2018, 05:31:15 PM
Suggestion: Enable option to re-benchmark enabled algorithms for a particular miner if it is updated.

This would eliminate the need to manually find the specific "stats" file for a miner and delete it every time you update it. Obviously small increases in hashrate performance from updated miners would gradually show up in stats display over time, but with larger improvements it may make the difference in profit-switching decisions.

Any roadmap for lyra2z kernel support for TITAN V (Volta) card?

i ve got so many rejects on claymore dual miner on keccak zpool port 5133

why can it be ?
on other pools keccak works fine.

plz can you check ?

just made some changes, please try now.

I'm having similar problems on keccak algo. Lots of rejects, even after vardiff settles down. Similar experience on multiple rigs with multiple miners, even when setting fixed diff.

FYI, comparing tpruvot 2.2.6 to coolMiner 1.3 on TITAN-V card, no OC, Win 10 latest build with 398.11 drivers on multi-hour, static diff mining session, -i 19:

tpruvot 2.26 = 7.27 MH/s
coolMiner 1.3 = 7.41 MH/s

+1.9% difference, so still worth it with dev fee included.

The profit calc for POLY seems waaaaaaay off. Either that, or I've stumbled onto a gold mine that everyone is avoiding for some reason. =)

0.00282608 BTC/MH = $10,000 USD/day for mining it. Now, I'd love that to be true but I'm guessing there is some exchange/wallet mismatch or a "divide by 1000" that isn't happening.

Can you review this?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: May 28, 2018, 05:28:43 PM
After several hours 3.1 borks  - all miners "fail" to start. after reboot it all works again

Any cure?
8 nvidia cards on H110btc+, all running at 75% power target. no overclock :/

I have the same issue but not with "all" miners. It's just some miners failing. I don't know if it's always the same miner but DSTM (for zcash) was surely one that failed to start after hours of mining.
By the way I have made my "HashRate" files inside the "Stats" folder read-only. Sometimes I run two instances of the miner for two different groups of cards, but if I don't have the files in read-only weird things happen when for example there are two instances of CCminers running.

I would highly advise you to use two copies of NemosMiner in two different base directories if you're trying to run them simultaneously (i.e. C:\NemosMiner and C:\NemosMiner2). You'll run into all sorts of weirdness otherwise, with conflicting config files, pool stats, miner stats. Given you likely want to tune the miners to the distinct groups of cards (assuming they are different hardware), this would allow you more flexibility.

3 orphan blocks (and no good ones) for BZLCoin (tribus) in the last 2 hours. You may want to review wallet for this and/or disable it.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HSRMINER Neoscrypt Fork by Justaminer - High Hashrate, API, all GPUs supported! on: April 13, 2018, 05:44:42 AM
How does this HSR Miner compare to CCMiner when used on the Lyra2Rev2 algo? Looking for the best miner for that algo..

HSRMiner fork is for Neoscrypt only, not Lyra2Rev2.

My advice would be to use the Excavator 1.4.4a release to get max hash rate out of most NVidia cards for Lyra2Rev2 (and other algorithms, like Nist5 and Blake2s). the JSON config files for it are a little odd to build, but the hash rate boost is worth it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) EXCHANGE AVAILABLE! on: April 03, 2018, 10:41:05 PM
GOOD NEWS! Crex24 exchange is now available in USA / Canada too!
No more IP restrictions!!!

https://crex24.com/exchange/ELI-BTC

Anyone else having issues generating an ELI wallet address on CREX24 to transfer ELI to them? I click on the "Deposit" icon for ELI and it sits there forever with a "Use the following data to credit your account" but never fills it in. If I try the same with BTC or a different currency, the deposit address pops up almost instantly.

Thank you papacheal!  We also implemented the immature counter feature you suggested on Discord.  As BM.Dev stated, much more to come!

Nice! This certainly helps with understanding exchange timing with those coins with huge confirmation times (e.g. BitSend). Looking forward to seeing what's coming up...keep up the great work!

Innova (Neoscrypt) is on the wrong chain and has been for 8+ hours. It needs to be disabled/resynced, but Neoscrypt hash rate is being wasted currently.

We at BlockMunch have decided to give the pool a new logo!  In making a new logo and thinking about the future of the pool, we have decided on a new name for the pool as well.  We wanted to keep the BM theme, and have decided to rebrand the pool to Block Masters!  So effective immediatly we will be operating under Block Masters Mining!  We will have a new URL that will point to the site, but will also keep our old URL as well.  The new website is http://blockmasters.co/ and the new logo is listed below!  Let us know what you think!

Nice facelift for the logo! I still like the mental image of "munching" through blocks though (Om nom nom)...

I think there may be something amiss with the graphing engine, though, as all of my wallet displays (on both site names) just bottomed out.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: BlockMunch.Club - BTC & LTC Payments! LiteCoinCash mininig now! on: March 02, 2018, 12:10:57 AM
I mined xevan algo. yesterday. because, Northern(NORT) coins are now profitable. but, my all miners were mining Solaris coins. Nevertheless the pool always shows NORT coins are more profitable than Solaris coins.  Cry

I think mining coin selecting option is needed. How about make a option additionally? Some other pools already have it.
"-p c=BTC,mc=NORT"

I agree...I love the mc=XXX option at Zergpool. Some of the math gets tricky when you're dealing with auto-exchange coins vs. non-auto-exchange. If you're focusing all your power on mining a single coin, should you get shares from other coins mined via the normal auto-profit prioritization? Or vice-versa?
Hey all,

Thank you for the suggestion!  Is Zergpool the only one who offers this coin?  I will have my dev partner look into adding this as a feature!

Really if we implemented the single coin, you should only get shares and profit from the coin you are mining since you would not be contributing to the auto exchange power.

I believe the way Zerg does it (and I'm sure others do) is by tracking hash rate per coin within the algorithm. i.e. the pool tracks a separate share % for each of the coins within the algorithm. For those that are switching around via the normal auto-exchange method, they'll have small share %'s of all the coins that make it to the top of the profitable list. For those mining a single coin via the "mc=" method, they generally have a much bigger share of that one coin (and only that coin) since they are constantly mining it.

Guncoin has jumped chain on Neoscrypt, making mining Neoscrypt a blackhole of future orphans. Coin needs to be disabled or resynced.

Any chance of getting the min/starting diff for YesCryptR16 reduced to 1 from the current 2?

It's hard enough to find shares for R16 and having a diff of 2 can generate 10+ minutes with no shares, which causes grief for miners and their stratum connections.

Anyone else having good/bad luck at Zergpool?

I was stoked when I got the update for Awesome Miner today that included it in the profit switching.  It stayed on Phi pretty much all afternoon\evening so far (aside from a bit on Skunkhash and Neoscrypt) and I finally ended up with just 0.00034556 BTC.  This is on a rig with nine 1080 Ti's and three 1080's.  Based on performance at other pools, I would have expected at least 0.001-0.0015 or more for the same amount of time.

I understand there's luck involved and that the stats are usually inflated from what you'll actually earn, but today was nowhere near what the stats were saying.  My results were actually 5% of the stats.

I really want to support and use Zergpool, but unless there's something I can change, the I just can't afford to. Are you guys just doing other specific algo's there or is anyone successful with Phi there?

9 x 1080Ti + 3 x 1080 will get you easily 20 MH/s on Neoscrypt using Excavator miner (use 1.4.4a release at least). Do the math on the 24hr estimated/actuals and you'll see you can easily clear 0.003 BTC/day and likely close to 0.004. Zerg has enough hashrate on Neoscrypt that it is a reliable source of coin turnover. I'd recommend mining 24 hours directly with Excavator on Neoscrypt (no switching, or set algorithm list to only include neoscrypt) and see what you pull. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I easily clear over 0.002 BTC/day with 6 x 1080Ti (~12 MH/s Neoscrypt).
