Bitcoin Hackers is a group is dedicated to faciliating the exchange of information and ideas between software and hardware developers in Vancouver interested in Bitcoin. Our goal is bring people together who have a keen interest in shaping the future of this nascent digital currency.
Our meetings will be fairly informal. For the most part, meetings will consist of conversations between members over some beers or light dinner. Members are encouraged to bring their laptops to show off projects and hacks. Where there is interest, we may bring in experts for short talks on specific topics.
Please note, this group is specifically designed for people with a technical background, and we aim to keep the level of discussion high. To this end, we ask that you submit a few words or links about your experience, with Bitcoin or otherwise, that would help us ensure a good fit.
Our first meeting will be at the end of November at a Gastown office, date and time TBD pending a poll of members. Fill out this short form and we'll add you to the list. This group is free to join and meetings are free to attend.
