So someone was able to remote into my pc and transfer out 2.6 million doge. Is there anyway for me to recover this?
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 24, 2014, 07:02:54 PM
Yeah, multi pool actually isn't bad if you mine a specific coin. I am getting pretty low reject rates and they have a server on the West Coast which is nice.

IMO its better to be on a larger pool especially with coins that have variable payouts that way payouts are more constant and you have more of a chance to find blocks at lower difficulties before they go back up.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 24, 2014, 06:15:17 PM
Is there an issue with multipool? My unconfirmed coins have not changed in several hours. It also shows that none of their top 5 profitability pools have found a block in over 3 hours.

Stop mining in a multipool.

You'll make stable gains sure. You'll miss the exponential ones when we'll land on the moon and you wont be there.

Most honest advice i can give you.

I speak the truth.

I've been mining Moon at Multipool in manual mode at lowest diff ever. Look at Moon now....

Indeed, use your brain instead of autosell.

I only use their Doge and Mooncoin pools not their multipool...

For all these people saying bter is so great...its super slow for me right now. Also I made a deposit and after 10 minutes no trace of it on bter...not a good start so far I might go back to cryptsy as its always been fast for me.

Edit: Funds showed up....I also noticed the fees are barley less even with the 10% discount...as long as their is minimal trading lag ill be happy.

770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me access my friends corrupt litecoin wallet.dat on: January 17, 2014, 03:54:40 PM

I found that topic earlier and I'm having him try it as we speak.

He tried this and it failed looks like its lost forever. At least he learned to backup his wallet from now on.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me access my friends corrupt litecoin wallet.dat on: January 16, 2014, 11:20:56 PM
Just use private keys

Code:
dumpprivkey <address here>

^ Copy that key

Open on new machine

Code:
importprivkey <priv key you copied> <label>

Remove all the < and > obviously

I don't know what the private key is and I can't determine it from the wallet.dat because it is corrupted.

will this prgram work for a litecoin wallet instead of a bitcoin wallet?
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me access my friends corrupt litecoin wallet.dat on: January 16, 2014, 10:45:44 PM
think the problem is not how to get old wallet to new client
problem is corrupted wallet file

you are correct...it says its corrupted and the wallet just closes
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me access my friends corrupt litecoin wallet.dat on: January 16, 2014, 10:22:09 PM
Tried it with no luck.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me access my friends corrupt litecoin wallet.dat on: January 16, 2014, 10:09:10 PM
Thanks for the reply but I do not understand what you just said.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Help me access my friends corrupt litecoin wallet.dat on: January 16, 2014, 10:02:08 PM
Long story short my friend reinstalled windows and did not realize that the wallet.dat file was on his c drive. He used recuva to read the old wallet.dat file but when used in litecoin it says it is corrupted. I tried using pywallet with no success. He had around 30 ltc in it and anyone that can help access it will get a 20% bounty. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - Anti Scarcity Stabilized Digital Cash - 400M Coins Milestone on: January 16, 2014, 02:16:20 PM

There are 0 buy orders so its actually worth less then that.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinyeeeee Buy/Sell Thread on: January 11, 2014, 03:42:54 AM
Looking to sell 1.65 million coye for .5 BTC or 20 LTC or 1.25 mil doge.

I won't go first unless you have a lot of reputation, also I will do escrow if you do not.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - Most Promising Investment - $US1.3 Trillion Marketcap Target on: January 10, 2014, 02:57:07 PM
Please note that this coin has a 50k transfer limit! If you go over that limit and don't auto or manual transfer your coins out, you won't to be able to transfer them!! Set auto transfers up immediately please!

Can anyone explain this? It was on nut.dedicatedpool.com

The developer put a stupid limit on the coin transfers.  It's extremely frustrating.  If you go over the limit it won't transfer it out to you and has to be done manually.

Can't you just add an option to your pool to allow people to manually specify how much they transfer out of their account instead of just having to cash out their entire balance? Would make it a lot easier on you.
