1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paris street art work is asking for donations in bitcoin. on: May 02, 2018, 12:35:14 AM
this is just an indication that bitcoin is making its niche in people's life and its purpose comes in many forms. This is definitely amazing in the first place.
2  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: will all the countries make cryptocurrency legal? on: April 27, 2018, 05:05:45 AM
yes definitely but it will take time and various challenges before that crypto currencies hit that stage. patience is a virtue
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Policy intervention for Bitcoin? on: April 25, 2018, 11:59:54 PM
The call itself likely won't have any effect. The Philippine market is quite small, and is certainly nowhere near big enough to cause worldwide jitters like the G20 summit did.

The outcome probably could though, but you can't expect it to have the same effect as when big news drop from South Korea or pre-exchange ban China. Bitcoin has been fairly steady during the India and Iran bank bans, so I would guess it will take much more than bad press from a small country to move it.

The Philippines might be a small market now and if taken as a single player But would it be different if the position of small markets (small players) are the same? One peso is composed of centavos, just a thought
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Policy intervention for Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2018, 06:21:56 AM
anything that is about bitcoin will have an impact on the future of bitcoin!
the difference is the result of the policies they decide to put in place for bitcoin. it can speed up the adoption of bitcoin and with it increase the price of bitcoin (like Japan last year) and also help the economy of the country.
or it be naïve and restrictive and slow everything down, mainly in the said country.

one inquiry talks about crytocurrencies being compared to "pyramid Scheme" which is a total non-sense. While the intention is noble, given the benefit of the doubt, but the problem is making them understand and that's probably one of the challenge to look into
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Policy intervention for Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2018, 05:45:06 AM
Do you think the call for inquiry relative to bitcoin at the policy making body like the House of Representatives in the Philippines would help in determining the future of bitcoin and its price?
6  Economy / Speculation / bitcoin to soar again? on: April 24, 2018, 04:20:43 AM
The market is showing positive sign for bitcoin again. In an article published by Charlotte Davis at https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/949891/bitcoin-price-usd-news-today-buy-dollar-cryptocurrency-latest-value-cash: BITCOIN price has seen a 27 percent increase since the start of April and one cryptocurrency expert said bitcoin is likely to continue to rally as historical data shows a continuous rise over the past eight years.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quit Facebook on: April 12, 2018, 07:32:31 AM
i am thinking the same but lets accept the fact that once in our life facebook help us reach to our friends and relatives leaving far from us. Just because of controversy's sorrounding Facebook we will quit? then just think about bitcoin.. just because of issues and controversies we will quit? Just limit usage maybe ... just a thought...
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in danger? on: April 11, 2018, 02:11:02 AM
how can bitcoin be in danger when it continue to evolve in the market? If you are talking of danger from the perspective of declining market price, i don't think the principle of danger will apply. Market investment is a high risk form of investment where the price of goods depend on the law of supply and demand. Right now because of the issues surrounding bitcoin and the lack of government appreciation the demand is sliding down and the price is going down. Once the issues become stable market price will surely pick-up again
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: April 11, 2018, 01:53:38 AM
True believer are big words which are normally associated with people's faith not on things. However, believing on something that can and will contribute to people's life positively is a good practice.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you Still believe in Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 01:48:11 AM
i still believe in bitcoin because bitcoin is the future of our currency. With the fast phase of technological advancement, crypto currency is the future of money and investment. it will just takes time and policies.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: what would happen to bitcoin in near future? on: April 10, 2018, 09:53:48 AM
Nothing will happen to bitcoin it will remain the leading crypto currency. Prices may go up and down, buts that's how the market goes lets accept it.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: April 10, 2018, 09:49:50 AM
Yes i am thinking about the future, how finally i can get my merits to start with. I am thinking how crypto currencies can finally emerge or make its niche in the market fully. I am thinking how can bitcoin in the future can help me and my family. I am thinking how can i influence others in joining this campaign.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quality of a leader on: April 10, 2018, 07:41:24 AM
when you speak about the quality of a leader bear in mind that leadership is a huge word and that its definition varies depending on the situation a leader will be subjected to. Having said that, for me, the quality of a leader is having the ability to decide in times of crisis.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you willing to give BTC in charity? on: April 10, 2018, 07:33:56 AM
Why not. if that action would save lives or children i would be more than willing to give BTC in charity. The giving or not giving of bitcoin depends on purpose of life and where your happiness falls. The idea of good samaritan still exists specially in times of need.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news or bad news... on: April 06, 2018, 07:02:10 AM
The government putting rules or policies in digital currencies is a welcome development because it means they are already accepting the potential of digital currencies. It’s more of a good news that a bad news. Limitations exist when there is uncertainty and once this uncertainty or uncertainties are addressed liberalism will surely occur.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Can Not Believe Bitcoin on: April 06, 2018, 06:54:32 AM
I don’t think this question for us, would you agree with me? Simple because we are believers of bitcoin.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin on: April 06, 2018, 06:52:10 AM
The advantage of bitcoin is being pioneer in crypto currencies and changing the perception of the people in real money.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: April 05, 2018, 06:14:50 AM
Yes there is a possibility since our technology continue to evolve. Just take for example communication.. from telegram or letters to SMS or text messaging, from telephone line to mobile and from voices to face communication. Primitive currencies talk about exchanges of goods, then came golf or silver currencies, then the gold become reserve for paper currencies and it will continue to evolve. The time is the only question here.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: April 05, 2018, 05:59:32 AM
no decision stupid. decisions are made because there are reasons behind or things that prompt you to do it. whether by instinct or out of necessity. Selling bitcoin is not a stupid decision. Just stand on the ground why you made such decision.
20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to implement a cryptocurrency with distribution of wealth? on: April 05, 2018, 05:53:24 AM
in my opinion the possibility of doing that thru cryptocurrency is very slim. Distribution of wealth is a complex issue and would require a complex process. Its is something easy to say than done. Years and years of study, debate and legislation are being conducted by many countries to address this issue of distribution of wealth but none that i knew of has succeeded for. The balance of society requires rich and poor, easy and hard or ugly and beautiful, what i mean to say is that there are things that are made that way so that there will be equilibrium where progress can start or how things will evolve.
