Yes, edited my TL;DR
Good find, concerning the website
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dundle.com by Korsit B.V. is scam. on: February 04, 2021, 05:25:48 AM
Recently tried to use dundle.com to buy a voucher (around 50$) and paid using cryptocurrency.
Only after receiving the money they ask you verify your payment by sending them a copy of your ID within 30 minutes otherwise "you'll be refunded automatically" (within an hour up to 5 days). WTF! As there is no abort possibility you have to click "verify now" and afterwards there is "Cancel" button. But guess what, if you click it, you end up in an endless loop. No refund, no voucher, money gone.

Thoughts:
If you have to do KYC stuff, tell people before the payment.
If you want to collect personal data and use KYC/AML regulation as the reason, do it when transaction has a reasonable size, not low value transactions.
If someone can't or doesn't want to send ID refund the money and don't steal it.

TL;DR
Personal conclusion: Korsit b.v./Dundle.com is a likely a scam

Oh, my, Lauda, are you still hanging around here?
As long as I am present on the forum or as long as this scam is priced higher than $0, I will remain here. Do not worry.
It was kind of a rhetorical question. Cute.

If you've been following CfB you quickly realize, that he is very smart and usually very polite/kind.
I have never seen him not answer an honest question or abandon a real discussion.

IMO he has grown tired of some well known trolls, which is reflected by a certain anger or lets call it impatience.
They behave like academic scum and use twitter mainly for trolling and nothing else.
I can understand his reaction and given the history he still behaves civil. He is not a PR person and he owes you nothing.
9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Swiss Alps Mining] SCAM!!! on: August 15, 2018, 01:02:18 PM
@Arrighi999 it is Giracoin (not Girocoin)

Giracoin is 100% a scam, Swiss Alps Mining is very, very fishy.
Shiny whitepaper, wrong numbers, a lot of marketing, shady team members.
I would second OPs opinion.

I think your trolling is halfhearted.
You should focus on your ASCII art postings.

The first SAM Cubes have been equipped with mining rigs for the mining of ETH and Bitcoin. The SAM Cubes can be equipped with Asic or GPU miners, whereby a mixed model was chosen for SAM Unit 1. In the already functioning Unit 1 (4x2x2), 50 Asic miners are operated with a total capacity of 700 TH/s and several GPU rigs with a total capacity of 4000 MH/s. At this performance, currently about 115 ETH and 19 bitcoin are minted per year.

700 TH/s don't mine 19 BTC, less than 15 BTC would be more accurate.

Probably old data, but still decent numbers i think.

Whats the TH/s you plan to have till end of the year?

It's not profitable at current prices - and if you want to bet on price increases there are better ways. Zero.

The whitepaper is a joke (with a nice layout, I have to admit).
The team (Giracoin people) is shady.
Numbers are not honest.
The ICO structure tries to create FOMO effects and lure noobs.
And last but not least the thread is filled with sock puppets (team members?).

Don't invest.

Your teams looks very impressive. How many people you actually have on the team?

They have very serious and good team, with good track under their belt. You can check it out here:

https://swissalpsmining.io/en/team

IIRC some of those guys have ties with Giracoin.
That's a big red flag.

What is Giracoin?First time hearing about it...

A good review: https://www.dalerodgers.co.uk/giracoin-review-cryptocurrency-scam/

I do not know exactly, the person who wrote the article is advertised as someone who has earned $ 10k a month and will gladly share how it with us .... sounds like fraud to me Shocked

Well, I do not see any link between some one from the team with the Giracoin... Huh

The recent performance of IOTA in the market is not very good, many altcoins prices have risen a lot, but the price of IOTA still stays in place, and now it is droping.  Embarrassed

What do you suggest?
