21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Megaminer 5.0b - Multi pool / Multi Algo launcher on: December 19, 2017, 05:18:35 PM
thanks for the 5.0 release, will try that later tonight.

is there a way to use 24 hour profitability instead of current prof. from the pool? i'd like to reduce algo switching, but long interval times work better with profit calculated over a longer time (like the last 24 hours).

What do people use to set power limits and clocks for NVidia cards on Windows system startup (to set it all automatically before mining starts)? I'm using Afterburner to fiddle with the settings -- though I would much prefer a program with a "normal" user interface instead of the gaming skins. Also would be nice to be able to enter the numbers directly instead of using the finicky Afterburner sliders where I never seem to be able to hit the exact number I want to Wink

Anyway, maybe there is something simple to set it all once I got all my parameters, run it from a batch file or similar?

Also, how can one ensure that the power limits for the cards never get reset during operations (as the total power draw would be too much then)?

thanks!

it has various skins.

it has a reset  spot that puts the same  numbers up  when you restart  .  works most of the time not all of the time.
various skins designed for gamers Wink

anyway, so you just start afterburner automatically with window and keep it running all the time?

does anyone else experience high cpu load in powershell in megaminer 4.8?

I looked at two rigs (both somewhat older CPU/mainboard) and powershell/consolehost ist using around 10-15% CPU all the time. system is win10x64.

I don't really care about the 15% cpu usage, but that keeps the CPU from sleeping and increases power usage by about 30W compared to the scripts not running.

Is there anything that can be done to reduce the load of the scripts? refresh, update intervals, removing/disabling non-essential stuff? Anyone messed with that yet?

thanks!

I have a problem with ccminer on ahashpool:

specifically right now running ccminerAlexisHSR, and after a couple of minutes it always quits after that message:

"Pool asked your stats"

that's the last output in the miner window, then it just quits.

anything to keep that from happening? I'm on version 4.8, btw.

does anyone know of any other coinorama clone still online? I'm really missing the relative prices chart...
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinorama.net - BTC markets & network charts + blocks list on: January 20, 2016, 12:54:31 PM
thanks for coinorama for the last couple years!

now that it's gone (and no clones built on the source are up yet), is there any other charting site that can display relative prices of multiple (USD/CNY) exchanges like coinorama did?
28  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: dead HYIP, Refund progress: BTC-arbs still doing refunds on: October 04, 2014, 03:23:17 PM
just received my first payment. it's a very small part of the total, but I'm really thankful to btc-arbs to providing some return for all the lost BTC!
29  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: dead HYIP, Refund progress 03/07/2014 on: July 09, 2014, 06:41:33 PM
I lost track of this thread, just now read the update and sent my claim. Posted here before in April, lost 10 BTC on btc-arbs, and hoping to get something back, too! will update on any refunds, of course.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coinbase CONFIRMS MTGOX INSOLVENCY (edit coinbase removed "insolvency" from titl on: July 01, 2014, 06:48:12 PM
yeah, received that here today, too, in Europe.

kinda cool postcard/letter combination, looked strange at first, until you open it Wink

I like what I'm seeing.

I should add little logo or something to be embedded in screenshots Wink
Do you like the new colors of the 'multi' mode ?

I like the new colors, more distinct, though it took some time to remember which was which now Wink

What I would really love: an option to swap bid ratio and relative rate with each other.. so that relative rate is underneath the usd rate.
32  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problems on: April 26, 2014, 07:07:57 PM
to me it sounds exactly like a scam, by paying out with BTC from new deposits -- especially as I'm not the only one who had his account with a 2 figure BTC amount simply deleted.
33  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problems on: April 26, 2014, 03:34:30 PM
good to hear that some people are able to withdraw part of their funds at least. doesn't help me (and the others) who simply had their accounts removed, though.

hope my 10 btc that are gone there will help pay back some funds instead of just being stolen by the admin... not any better for me in either case, but for some.
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btc-arbs.com scam?? on: April 25, 2014, 09:09:15 AM
same story here unfortunately. my account simply vanished, can't login, gone with all my BTC there.
35  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Daily ROI (0.01-10%) Update: withdrawal problem on: April 25, 2014, 08:35:16 AM
just to add another warning here:

my account seems to have simply vanished with all the BTC in it, no reply from support either, so right now I would definitely warn against sending any BTC there.

36  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: April 25, 2014, 07:43:22 AM
whats the new about btc-arbs? they still releasing funds from the legacy fund? read somewhere some guy cant log in to their account

that's me, my account seems to have simply vanished with all the BTC in it, no reply from support either, so right now I would definitely warn against sending any BTC there.

Will update when/if the situation changes.
37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage, quite profitable BTC investment, make 1-3% ROI per day on: April 24, 2014, 08:33:20 AM
anybody else having troubles logging into btc-arbs today?

I keep getting "Incorrect login credentials"...
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 03, 2014, 07:03:01 PM
hopefully this trend will continue and we'll finally decouple from huobi etc.:

39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will customers who have FIAT at Mt. Gox be able to withdraw their FIAT currency? on: March 01, 2014, 10:34:10 AM
Actually, this brings up a good question.  We know that Gox is short of BTC, but are they missing fiat as well, and if so how do they explain it?

That's a really  good question. Actually they haven't explained it and I think they won't as bankruptcy process is going.

I guess they used fiat to buy BTC (which they then lost)...
40  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 15, 2014, 08:56:18 PM
since I previously said that I would post once my Jan 2nd SEPA withdrawal was processed, here's my update:

my withdrawal still wasn't processed this week, so I cancelled it, bought coins and cashed out through bitstamp. unfortunately not at the time where gox price was at 50% of the bitstamp price, but still with a good 30% markup.

if course, I still have to be able to get my btc out of gox but I still have faith in that happening, and the price differential was just too good to pass up on (and would have even much better had I waited another half day, but that's moot Wink)
