Hate it or love it, Bitcoin is Crypto. No matter how you want to treat it, it is a cryptocurrency just like we have many others. What I get from people most times is how they think that crypto is a scam and this is always caused by some altcoin, etc. So any thing said about crypto in general or accusations about it still ends up hitting all innocent cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin. But it is what it is.
Exactly, that's my thought. Yeah, there are a lot of scams in the crypto space, but scam schemes always existed with fiat too, people still use it, and they don't have the word "money" or "currency". Not calling BTC crypto because there are other coins that are used to do shady stuff is like not calling yourself an American, when you're an American, just because you don't like what some other Americans do. That doesn't define you, just like it doesn't define BTC. |

Every low-cap memecoin might seem like a hidden gem if you want to see it that way. It's all about luck and hype, I wouldn't bet on it.

I'm not keeping my funds in fiat or stablecoins. I'm using fiat to buy stuff, and sometimes I use stablecoins, but I'm not keeping them for too long. Of course USD stablecoins are good for holding if you live in countries where fiat currency is way weaker than USD, but there are still a lot of other better options for that.

I don't really want to click on the link. But I do know what I would do if BTC hits $1,000,000. I would buy a house, and then I would buy back BTC when it dumps.

Sometimes I just think about the fact that meme coins can be very dangerous but can make someone exceptionally rich over night. It takes a strong mind to invest in meme coins and keep them for a long time. Especially those investors who have a lot of money to invest in cryptocurrency, I believe they are the ones who take serious risks in investing in meme coins. Personally, I do not like meme coin because I am a long term investor, but I could try it sometimes. I have had some thoughts about it, like I said. However, I will use money i know I do not care if I lose it or profit from it.
Well, memecoins are very speculative assets, and their price is based only on hype, so long-term investment doesn't really work in that space I think. It can only work as you throw the money you don't need and don't expect profit from it, it just might come. |

Bitboy, oh Bitboy. He really is a mess isn’t he. Super early Bitcoin adopter but has sanity issues & is partial to a shitcoin scam & rug pull. It’s sad really, he had an opportunity to really use his online platform to educate people & push for crypto adoption. Some people can’t deal with the responsibilities that come with being very rich & he’s one of them. He has a massive list of fuck ups, drug addiction, arrests, rug pulls & he left his wife for an employee. I don’t wish him any serious harm but if he’s fighting I hope he loses.
He's definitely a mess. I thought I would never hear about him again. I don't really like him either, not gonna watch it or the news about it, I just hope he will lose but will be fine. |

DCA is great. You don't need to worry too much, I'm trying to find the best moment to buy BTC every month, but even if it dips after that - I know that it will recover. The only time when I was investing like madman was when BTC was below $20,000 last year. That was a good time.

Well, that's not a problem if you see BTC as an asset, you don't need it to move too often. If you need it for transactions - you can use lightning, but I prefer simply using altcoins for stuff like this.

Stop following crypto influencers, those of you who like using YouTube videos to pick coins and tokens to invest in you need to hear this, those crypto influencers on YouTube are getting paid to promote those projects they are chilling, why would they promise you 2x or 5x when they aren't part of the team themselves? They did this because that's how they make their own money. He who have hears let him hear.
Many influencers are paid to promote project which the project can be good or bad project, listening to influencers doesn't mean all what they have said should be taking, first thing that needs to be done after listening to them is to weigh their content if it is worth it. Many people have made so many mistakes about investment just listening to influencers who are promoting poor project for people to invest in, it is not every influencers in the social media that needs to be taking serious. Exactly, also they always make themselves look rich with rented cars and houses. Young and not-too-smart people tend to believe it. |

Secondly, Tether has been accused of being too centralized as they can restrict any address at will from transferring or moving USDT tokens on any chains whenever they want. For a project that is heavily integrated into the deep roots of defi, it leaves bitter taste in the mouth of anyone that gets on their blacklist. Well, that's how all stablecoins work actually. IMO it's over, but it doesn't mean it can't come back soon. I suppose that if ETF won't be approved BTC will slide back at least a little bit. And it won't make any big moves before that.

I don't really understand how people can trust random people on forums to contact them on WhatsApp or Telegram. But sadly it's still happening. I suppose internet security should be taught at schools at least. I don't really know how to teach older people about that.

Well, you're not totally wrong, but there are actually a lot of people who talk and promote BTC. It just doesn't need it that much and actually can meet the expectations and offer something besides hype.
