Its interesting to see the "WHY BUY?" question...
Im buying to start a node because nodes means more UPX for meee and i see a future where there are Uplexa Dapps maybe mobile games, not some tron casino shit but deeper integration into IoT software, I imagine a project like Uplexa can farm computing power and deliver it to IoT devices (imagine crunching numbers on the cloud via your note 8 phone and you pay for the computational power using UPX, maybe even cloud rendering or google stadia type shit)
Im buying in case there is a community and dapps being built I can support the projects I like within the Uplexa eco system, but that wont happen till community steps up or the price hikes so the big boys notice uplexa...

What's going? Investor left from UPX? Or team dump on exchanges?
Not sure but its buying season if you believe in the project i guess lol

I think we have to build commumity and make it is easy to get into uplexa, utility nodes and infrastructure, price is something to worry about unless you are trading.

Man living in new zealand i always miss all the fun lol

MN will be tiers?
No just one utility node structilure but when dapps arrive you can use issued funds to invest etc and utility node holders usually get more governance sway

Hopefully as many people that have 2M upx will run a node lol
Haha would be a nice talking point if you had it on a key ring or something like that

I think there are some crypto projects out there that are stake pools exclusively? or masternode hosts? maybe there could be some sort of collaboration... masternodes get a bad rep as it is.... O.0
what do you mean? uplexa soon will join the new mining system and we have for sure all that in necessary to do good... For sure I like uplexa i already have 2M so ill be starting a node but masternodes carry a lot of bad connotations from other projects using them in scammy ways or not being profitable as intended which sees people abandon them. We are separate in the sense that Uplexa nodes are called utility node instead of masternodes which is more direct and to the point plus if we can make a node easy to set up with a preinstalled Pi that would be gamechanger. Another idea could be a downloadable file with a linux OS and node for Uplexa, that could be put into any harddrive and installed on any elcheapo low core pc, just connect to the internet and update a few settings, now that AMD and intel are churning out rediculous core pcs there will be lots of cheap low performance pcs on the market...

i can do an instructional video on how to set up vps with open host but itll be more steps etc im sure quantum leaper can give up his thoughts on vps setups to use. Vmware may have a free tier too but again more setup process. I'll look into the vps thing, but I (and I guess many others) will be greatful for a quality instructional regarding node and vps set-up in regards to UPX. Where can we find yours when they come available? I will probably start making videos in the next month and i dont know i gues i could just start a new Uplexa content only chanel even if it has a few videos if its called uplexa something itll be found easier on youtube

Where can we find yours when they come available? Hi ! I'm sure QL will post something when announcing the launch of the Utility Nodes He or some kind community member. I'm just hoping the Team will find a way to avoid the usual hassle about setting up masternodes - or eventually launch some one-click hosting service simultaneously with the UN launch! that might be a smart move, and definitely a giant step towards non-tech-savvy people. Let's not forget that those people are the future of crypto... In the meantime, no need to stress out about this, if the "IoT principle" is applied, one should be able to host a node on a raspi or some small-cheap vps as well. This would be amazing the only issue is trust nide hosting gets scary because one host can potentially access plenty of coins. If uplexa themselves did it that would be amazing but then the cost would be huge to host a seperate node for each person who may wish to host one plus offer some sort of security guarantee. But it would be a welcome departure from everyother crypto project that makes it soo soo hard lol it would scare noobs away for sure even if there are instructionals

Hey guys dont knock the Google ive been running a few vps for nodes with no issues if you are into beam coins have a look at their instructionals. also keep your private keys you dont have to worry about being booted from any vps server. You wont be charged until the blockchain gets bigger ive been in gree tier for ages. But i do understsnd your concerns, If you would rather stay away from google i can do an instructional video on how to set up vps with open host but itll be more steps etc im sure quantum leaper can give up his thoughts on vps setups to use. Vmware may have a free tier too but again more setup process.

It is resiliant that's right! Is it possible for a noob to implement a utilitynode into a raspberry pie 4? What kind of equipment is needed to run a node yourself? I'd like to get one myself, but 24h power-on is pretty expensive with my standard homepc.
There are a few ways to get it done. Id personally set up a virtual pc host using googles free service or as you say get a raspberry pi. Both options will work veey well but one day as the node gets bigger google will want a few dollars a year to make the storage bigger for the virtual machine. I will make a full instructional video for anyone wanting to set uk a utiliry node.

Guys, a huge uPLexa-fan from the beginning, I am wondering: Uplexa has all the right stuff, great ideas, great devs and it delivers everytime! Do you think uPlexa will ever get out of being held hostage to the sideways movements of BTC? What will it really need to get unleashed from this position? I know, we're all about the tech and not about price... But some of us really care about the price since it's what makes the project viable for the public (together with a proper usecase) and attracts more money, and thus possibilities for more development.
Sideways movement with btc is better than straight up dying as a project i like how resiliant uplexa is haha

Hey fellas and fellettes? Im planning to do a whole bunch of videos for uPlexa when the utility nodes drop as i have a couple million stashed and i want to make videos for how to set up a node on a virtual host plus the upcoming free vpn plus intro to uplexa and mining etc. What format would work better for you guys? short instructional videos or very thoroughly guided step by step type videos?
Hey thesudio! Awesome! Multiple 10 minute videos would be better than a video with 30-40 minutes of content IMO. Ok i think that will make it easier for me to script too. Im thinking: 1. Uplexa Cryptocurrency: IoT Empowered! 2. How to mine UPX (Uplexa) on GPU 3. How to mine UPX (Uplexa) on IoT devices 4. Utility Nodes: Earn passive income with Uplexa 5. How to set up a Uplexa Utility Node That should keep me busy.

Its a shame about UPX ticker being highjacked and binance allowing it after they have been alerted to it in the official chanells. UPX = UPLEXA
Please consider renaming your ticker, Uplexa has the ticker, it does neither project good to have this back and forth which takes focus off community building and working on progress. Cheers

Who is buying up all this vot man What do you know that we dont lol I know its chumpchange compared to other projects but maybe its just bitcoin doing well is all
Just a note on ASIC algo change, Tom has said previously its in VOTs interest to have all the vots issued, for a coin like votecoin to realise its potential its better to have as much issued into the market as possible, this will find the real value of the coin and marketing will do a lot more because he doesnt want to do the eventual marketing push as a mineable coin, that should be an afterthought, he wants the final stage to be marketing and exchanges based on what the coin can do, he does share the frustrations of having limited exchanges but he is really anti hype, he wont announce things till its done.
Does it mean that we have to wait at least years or even decades till VOT will be valued? Haha i shouldve said the bulk, were getting there lol
