1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Thinking about a secure USB drive for my wallet on: November 29, 2013, 04:02:58 PM
Hey all. I have some Bitcoins and want to store them in a safe way that is plug-and-pay. Unlike a paper wallet which is only one-time-use, I would like a secure USB drive which I can decrypt with say, my head.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002T45X48/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?ref_=pe_385040_30332210_pe_334560_28252370_3p_dp_1

I saw this USB drive and heard really good things. How can I store my wallet like this? Can anyone offer me suggestions or a solution, or the best hardware to use? Thanks a lot.

Okay, he doesn't have 1x to 16x right now. Can I just buy 3 of these and run them in the 16x lanes? Or...?

I won a half a bitcoin over there yesterday for being one of the first $20 to post "$1000" when BTC hit $1000.

I feel pretty good. I've pulled all of it out, but I have one FEE just in case something does happen. It was a free .5 BTC so I might as well pay respect to the person who issued it.

Bump, looking for help.

I can't find powered risers available for sale almost anywhere. It seems hashratestore has them but they arrive in 4-6 business days to the US and I am going to want them a bit sooner, unless I absolutely don't need them.

Hey all, I just ordered my first official Scrypt build through Newegg:

I want to know about powered risers, and how they are important. I checked Amazon for their powered risers but they're sold out! I really need advice so I don't blow something up. I ordered non-powered risers from Newegg (I ordered 4) so I would like to know what's up.

Thanks.
7  Economy / Economics / I made a BTC checkbook to share with you all :) on: November 25, 2013, 11:56:50 PM
Hey everyone, I made a single-wallet BTC checkbook register for you guys. I am using one for me right now, and I plan to expand it as necessary.

Right now it has basic single-currency functionality which is neatly organized into three types of wallet transactions: Buy/Sell (exchange,) Deposit/Withdraw (single wallet) and Buy/Sell (other cryptos.)

It's simple, but I hope it helps you out. I included a brief demo along with it in the 11/25/2013 page.

To copy this to your Google account, with the spreadsheet open go to the File menu in Google Docs, click "Make a copy..." and name it the wallet you'd like to track. Delete the 11/25/2013 demo page (very bottom of the sheet) and then right click the Daily Template page and click "Duplicate." Rename the page to the date you wish to track, then edit the opening balance and the date. Keep the Daily Template page so you can copy a new page each day and begin work.

Now you're good to go! Enjoy it! Thank you for having a look at my spreadsheet. I hope it serves you well.

I have to admit I'm slightly nervous about the prospect of ASICs for scrypt.

I have a good setup with my GPUs Smiley

Hey there! I was a miner over at Slush's Pool back in April. But now I'm back and interested in BTC Cheesy

I am going to hopefully buy my first BTC soon, just trying to find a way to do so. I'm from the states and I have some plans for this, much like everyone probably. haha Smiley
