221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: April 09, 2018, 05:07:37 PM
did someone here say that not all coins are forking?

Confirmed forks
Monero
Sumo
IPBC
Masari
Dero
Graft
Electroneum
AEON

Any other coin other than those will get destroyed by the asics. Minimum exchanges, which means 0 liquidity, no where to dump the coins, so no money being made.

Dont understand when general public will learn the lesson.
You know they mine with it before getting to you
You know they only release to public when the associated networks find out
You know that majority of Devs will fork away

So please explain to me the logic of then going out, spending thousands of dollars on a glorified paperweight within a few weeks?

At least overspending on a GPU i can mine whatever i want except being pigeonholed by some 2nd hand Cryptonazi company like Bitmain etc.

Its a joke, and whoever buys one, guess what the joke is on you.

Other than Monero have the others forked as well or are they due to?

Just 4 or 5 coins didn't fork still. All the others forked. The ones that didn't fork will be DESTROYED by the ASICS and in a few days will have ZERO profit. Ask yourself why Baikal is selling 5 Baikal N at the price of one! LOLOLOL they are worth almost zero now.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: April 09, 2018, 03:37:55 PM
Is anyone going with the buy 1 get 5 deal? Or considering it? Even though XMR forked there still might be some profit available with other coins and it ships in 7 days

I was thinking the same. Then I checked the list of the coins that forked and.......99% forked!!!!!!

That's why they sells 5 at the price of one. Because there are no coins left to mine. Nothing. So no. Buying these machines even for 30 bucks would not be worth.

1. NEW ALGOS for BAIKAL X10 ? BAIKAL BAIKAL ?
2. Normal price HuhHuhHuh?

you are boring man , stop your caps , we dont care of your frustration and cries , if you dont think it s normal do like everyones did, dont buy and shut

If I am, boring select to block my posts and to don't appear to you.
When I came here in the forum and I said about the hidden ETH ASICs from bitmain and the ETH fork there I was not boring....

Do you know how many people got saved and didn't get SCAM from these ASIC companies because of my post ?

I agree. but there is not need to ALWAYS write in red and bold. Really. Your posts are useful yes. But ppl read it also if you don't write in red and bold all the times.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASICMINERMARKET.COM - My buying (live) experience - BAIKAL X10 on: April 07, 2018, 07:02:07 PM
Exact same procedure so far for us - "bank is returning payment". Made an order for 2 units to test the water, and not looking great so far.

How long they took to return your wire?

228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ASICMINERMARKET.COM - My buying (live) experience - BAIKAL X10 - [17/04/2018] on: April 07, 2018, 09:45:05 AM
Hi guys!

First of all I would like to say that if you are here to judge if it was or was not a good idea to buy an ASIC, this is not the right thread.
Second, I am here to write a review of my buying exprience with asicminermarket.com that, as of today (07/April/2018), is actually ongoing.
Third, I have no connection with Asicminermarket. I am a "normal" client.

I will update this post with the news day by day excluding the Sunday(s).

I have bought two Baikal X10 for the price of $2399. One for me and one for a friend of mine.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4th April 2018 - I placed the order online for the 2 Baikal X10 for the price of $2399 including free DHL shipping. After a few minutes I have received their reply which I think is a ready message:

Their reply was:
Quote
Dear friend
Your P.O. has been received. And please kindly read the information below if you have already transferred your payment in USD
(if not, please make your payment as soon as possible, and then read the information below).
Considering the current demands of the international trade and business,
and to guarantee the benefits of both sides, we need the business license of the company which transfers the payment
or the personal passport information of the person who transfers the payment to issue the commercial contract.
At the same time we need your USD transfer voucher
We’ll issue the contract as soon as we receive your information and USD transfer voucher.
and return it which will require your seal or signature in the corresponding place.
Then please send back the sealed or signed contract.
We’ll arrange the delivery for you once the contract is received.

Skype:yangrongdai
(Attention! my SKYPE account is yangrongdai, without other suffixes)

 Sincerely yours
 Asicminermarket team

After a few minutes I replied again making sure that they wanted my passport copy, recepit of the bank wire and that then they woul dhave ssent some kind of contract to be signed. They confirmed.

6th April 2018 - I have sent the bank wire in the morning (afternoon in China) and forwarded them the 1) passport copy 2) bank recepit. No reply from them.

7th April 2018 - Sent again to their email: sales@asicminermarket.com a request asking if they have received my email with the documents and that I am waiting for the "contract" to be signed.

7th April 2018  - They sent me a message on skype writing that they can't accept bank wires anymore and my money will be returned to me. And the only way to pay is digital currency. I am a little bit pissed off. They sent me the bank info and I have already sent the payment. Also right in this moment, if you place an order on their website, you can still select BANK WIRE as payment option. Why they don't remove it if it's not accepted?
Well, I asked them to give me further discount because of this. We'll see how this thing will go on. You can check my skype conversation with him here: ---> http://prntscr.com/j2478g

12th April 2018 Still not received the money back from the asicminermarket bank. I have contacted Yangrongday on Skype asking to speed up the thing but he didn't replied

13th April 2018 Money came back to my bank. Some fees have been taken but this is not Asicminermarket fault, but bank fees.

16th April 2018 I have sent again the money. This time by Western Union. Yangrongdai was agree to give me the original price of $2400 per each Baikal X10

17th April 2018 I am in contact with Yongongdai on Skype. So far the replies have been fast. He is now checking the status of the Western Union withdrawals. I had to send 5 different WU transactions so a bit of mess. I like the fact that the comunication is fast.

So far, other than the bank problem, the comunication have been good. Nothing to complain. I am now waiting for them to cash the money at Western Union and ship me the 2 Baikal X10 Cheesy

will keep you updated

Hi. Can you explain to me. Will this project be available worldwide, or just in some countries? Thanks.

sorry in your country is not available
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: April 05, 2018, 10:47:46 PM
Monero community could be vibrant, but good question is why the monero devs didnt increased the scratchpad size from the current size (2Mb), fpga miners are not affected by this fork Wink

I talked to another cryptonight coin developer about fpga, he said that it's cost prohibitive due to memory restrictions.  So there goes fpga out the door, cause I was thinking fpga too.

I'm developing many algorithms for the Virtex Ultrascale+ VU9P on the VCU1525 board and this FPGA has 47MB of internal SRAM, enough for 22 instances of Cryptonight V7.  Your developer friend is gravely mistaken.
Having said that, Cryptonight V7 is not the most profitable algorithm for FPGA's at the moment, but high end FPGA's always beat GPU's, and ROI for the high end FPGA's are around 50-110 days vs. years for GPU's.
I will be releasing my bitstreams (to the public) soon, my current plan is to release them for free with a 4% mining fee.  And you would need to buy your own FPGA boards from Avnet/Digikey/Xilinx/Digilent/Hitechglobal/Bittware, etc...

Amazing. Can't wait for that. Do you have an estimated date?

So are we waiting for someone to try it out on an X10, or is it still being looked into? I can try it out on mine if we need a guinea pig.

Ive tried as hell on my own X10 :-D

I don't see OP author confirming overclocking and sending reward.

Probably because [SLA5][ANAQC]man-FIRE is still mixing Giant B which can be overclocked with X10..?

No one with X10 have confirmed overclock, while Giant B is overclocked with the sgminer i have on Github, it does about ~46 GH on LBRY, and potential much more with some smaller changes.

Is there a thread on how to overclock the B?

There is a pretty straight forward guide on my github that will allow you to OC. Change SET_ENABLE to 1 and you will be able to OC more by setting set_baikal command.

Been searching for your github but not sure where ti find it?

It seems like these new E3 can be upgraded once ETH will fork and still mine it. I heard this from "insiders"..
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: April 03, 2018, 07:27:34 PM
From my point of view these are not so bad. The price is "honest". The power is ok. The GPUs have the advantage to be able to mine a lot of other profitable algos. I made most of my profits out f Neoscrypt and other algos. I almost never mine ETH. There are other algos way more profitable than ETH.

BUT if I had a machine dedicated ONLY to ETH with a good price to power to cost ratio then I would probably use it. And I would keep my GPU to mine Neo, Xevan, X17, X16r, X16s and the others with VERY good profit.

From my point of view those are 2 different machines. GPUs and this ETH miner. Also, even if ETH will fork there will be MANY other ETH coins that will not.

Also, this machine will bring the price of the GPUs slightly down which is a GOOD thing. So all in all I see this new miner as a good thing.

The only usually shitty problem is that they will ship it only in July. This means that they will use it FOR GOOD and then ship it to the poor miners. But hey... wouldn't YOU do the same???

237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: April 03, 2018, 12:58:54 PM
yeah seems like this cryptonight machine have been profitable only to the ppl who made it.

Well the point is, why, if I produce a machine that bring me $200 per day should I sell it for $2000? I will make way more profit keeping it for myself.

The problem is that only few sellers produces/sells ASICs. So there is a strong market manipulation.

The exit way from my point of view will come when people will start to release software to use FPGA to mine. FPGA are available to the public and the software will include a share for the developer. This will fight the ASICs.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: April 02, 2018, 04:46:39 AM
Did anyone order N+? Wink Wink Wink

Hmmm the Baikal N+ cost now 2499usd and have an hasing power of 80 KH/s and using 120W . The Halongen X2 costs 3000usd and and 248 KH/s and using 490W.

The Baikal N+ to be price competitive should cost not more than 970usd (just comparing the power hash rate and doing some easy calculations) without even considering the much better power efficency of the Halongen. Also some people are already receiving some Halongen miners and shipping with halongen seems to be VERY fast. I am not promoting this or the other company. I am just reporting some experiences and my experience. Dealing with Baikal directly is a pain in the butt. Dealing with Richard at Halongen is super easy and smooth.

Also even if you order the Baikal N that is "in stock" it will take anyway not less than 15 days to arrive. AT LEAST. They are slow as hell at shipping.

Also, Asicminermarket is the only company having the new Baikal N+ as far as I can see. So OR they are very "tight" with Baikal or they know how to mod the firmware. I would opt for the 1st option.

Baikal started the right way with "right" prices but then they went in the wrong direction increasing the prices like crazy. A ROI of 4/5 months nowdays is too dagenrous to be kept in consideration.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: April 01, 2018, 11:09:43 AM
At the end did you receive your miner from asicminermarket?

If so, how long they took to ship it?

thanks!
I think 10 days.

A lot of people call for scam when talking about asicminermarket, but at the end I think that the real problem is just that they delay with the shipping. I can't find anyone that have been scammed for real. please correct me if I am wrong because I am considering Asicminermarket to buy my next batch of X10 and N
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 31, 2018, 06:17:21 PM
Did you follow up about the 3 units for $3,800?
Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow and I am interested in the 3x deal to offset paying $3800 for this one
They offer me only to pay second and get third for free. I wanted 2 for the price of one, but nope.

I've got papers from DHL, btw the claimed value is 180 USD not 150 USD like Asicminermarket told me  Roll Eyes
Miner is still in Germany :/ Hope they will delivery it tomorrow.

So is ascicminermarket scam or not?

How can it be scam when he can trace the product via DHL?

they are not the best seller but they are not a scam
Well they gave me wrong tracking number Cheesy But once the package got to the customs clearance I've got message with the right number and all the other stuff needed.

Sounds good. I am likely to be on Tuesday due to the convenience of the shipping company.
It seems that re-ordered (3Pics) also arrive together. Asicminermarket.com seems to reflect too much. Grin Grin Grin
I'm expecting at least this fast delivery

At the end did you receive your miner from asicminermarket?

If so, how long they took to ship it?

thanks!
