Can u provide some authentic link to substantiate your claim?
Here you go, https://www.hdfcbank.com/assets/popuppages/forex_rbi_guidelines.htm

Swift transaction is illegal on at least three individual points.
2. IV) altered your assets which is not allowed
2 VI) transferred amount to account which doesn't belong to your close relative. Beneficiaries accounts last name should be same with sender's account last name. This has only one exception if you are going outside for education then you can transfer to your own account name.
2 VIII) bought Bitcoin or such virtual currency.

Government has a really simple option to get a list of all illegal international transactions done till now all they have to do is cross check sender's last name with beneficiaries last name. if they are not same most of these transactions become illegal then and there. Government hasn't done it till now that does not mean they will never do it in future.
2  Local / India / Re: Coinome holding INR withdrawals? on: February 17, 2018, 05:40:46 AM
anyone else facing issue with coinome ?
i heard that they provide instant deposits and withdrawal service .

nowadays, koinex, bitbns, coindelta are also providing instant everything. I'll suggest buy through those who offer some real support. You can search coinome on telegram where you can find a few people have faced the problem. I think the problem is with UPI/IMPS technology and those exchanges who are using it. But with real support you can solve your problem. coinome doesn't have any support anywhere.

Have tried zebpay and bitbns. Had decent experience with zebpay, amount got credited in 10-12 hours. Worst experience with bitbns. 6 days and I am still trying to track my money with their support team. Be Careful if you guys try bitbns to withdraw funds to your bank

I still think anyone using UPI IMPS technology on their platforms have this very problem. UPI IMPS isn't mature enough. I think transactions above 2 lac will be more reliable. Lol.

BTW you should join telegram communities of these exchanges. They provide good help on them except coinome.

It's not new, and not related to bitcoin. In FEMA rule you can't use your card directly to any exchange outside India for trading. You are lucky, they are just closing account, otherwise you did broke rules and Police can come to your home.
Do u mean sending money to fully compliant Japanese exchanges from India and receiving from them using SWIFT code is illegal?

Yes. Totally. Many banks have written it in fine print.

wow this is bad ... First Kotak now ICICI

This is old news, they keep saying this but never act on it. Part of the reason being the whole shabang is untraceable.
Tip : get a B2 account if its available in your city and stick to it. Back when I was trading actively I used my B2 account extensively. Will not go into the details of the entire turnover but it was a lot. And this was after RBI made their rules more stringent in (and after) 2008.

B2 is useless piece of crap. You can only transfer 25k INR through it.
Edit: it's not available anymore for new customers.

on cryptocurrency , neither FEMA mentioned anything nor IT act , govt should clear its stand .

It's not on FEMA original paper but on banks website showing FEMA rules, banks mention you can't buy crypto. Banks may have invented their own FEMA rules.

https://rbidocs.rbi.org.in/rdocs/notification/PDFs/N20RB29574DA17294D5C93E4951B2FC86666.PDF  FEMA ACT revised again in Nov 2017 all sections about the act is available

Does it mention anything about crypto? I couldn't find any.

If you invest in any unknown site than you are bound to go through all such issues. Did you read about this site before on this forum that you created a account their? Why don't you create a account on Unocoin, Zebpay which are recognized and old.
Hope so you will get your money back quickly.

Coinome is run by billdesk which is a very trustworthy and old company in India. However I'll now limit my usage on coinome now. I don't know what is the use of unocoin considering their unbelievable rates. And Zebpay is very buggy app created by a 5th grader student.  Shocked

8  Local / India / Re: Anyone here who accepts bitcoins at his online store? on: February 14, 2018, 09:14:24 AM
It's not about crypto legal tender or not. Mr. Jetly clearly said it's illegal to accept / provide payment in crypto for any kind of service/product.
9  Local / India / Re: Coinome holding INR withdrawals? on: February 14, 2018, 09:06:48 AM
Coinome released money back into trading account after a week. Their service is non existent. This was merely my third withdrawal and coinome coughed blood. Trade with caution on this platform.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp Verification Time on: February 10, 2018, 11:36:42 AM
I had applied on 31st dec and yesterday my verification was rejected because the address proof was more than 3 months old. Now I have resubmitted the documents. I dunno how long they will take now.

13  Local / India / Coinome holding INR withdrawals? on: February 06, 2018, 09:20:18 AM
Hi,
I tried to withdrew 60k+ from coinome yesterday night. They promise instant deposit and withdrawals and in the past that had worked for me but now they are saying it can take 48-72 hours. Has anyone had such experience with coinome?
14  Local / India / Re: India may ban Bitcoin on: February 01, 2018, 09:50:10 AM
This exactly what Arun Jetlag said word to word about crypto

Quote
Distributed ledger system or the block chain technology allows organization of any chain of records or transactions without the need of intermediaries. The Government does not consider crypto-currencies legal tender or coin and will take all measures to eliminate use of these crypto-assets in financing illegitimate activities or as part of the payment system. The Government will explore use of block chain technology proactively for ushering in digital economy.

Does anyone know,
Is gold a legal tender in India?
Can we hold govt responsible if gold gets stolen or prices fall?
Does anyone from govt puts his signature on gold promising it some value?
16  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: EXMO.com Cryptocurrency Exchange [Official Thread] on: January 25, 2018, 01:30:49 PM
I have a question. Why rates are higher on EXMO? And what makes everyone register themselves on EXMO?
I think I missed something.
17  Local / India / Re: how to fetch zebpay price into google spreadsheets on: January 18, 2018, 07:45:28 AM

Can i use it in my website.. is it legal.. ?? New to api s.. please help me..??  Or do I have to take permission ??

Zeppay ticker doesn't show real values. It's highly inaccurate. It shows random rates. Don't use it. Exactly right now, it's off by almost 10%. Unfortunately there's no way to know real and actual rates outside zebpay app.
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / bitocrypt.com - too good to be true. on: January 12, 2018, 04:18:00 PM
This simple but good designed website sells you bitcoin at exchange rate, sometimes even lower for Paypal.

They claimed to have sold more than 12,000 bitcoins in 8,000 orders. And they have max order amount 1000$. So it's total magical how they sold that many bitcoins. Lol

Fees are just 1% for paypal or skrill. Too good to be true. Beware.
