661  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What would you do if you were in charge of your country? on: April 04, 2017, 07:51:30 AM
I would dismantle the government and quit.

And then watch oligarchs and robber barons turn the country into basket case and cumdumpster for the rest of the continent.

Ukraine was there, done that.

On a side note, I would give option (life is all around options, right?) to tax payers to actually opt out of healthcare, schooling and similar public schemes, that are in most of the world mandatory. While paid for by tax payers, they are increasingly influenced by marxist ideology that seeks equal results, not equal opportunities.

Reinstating death penalty for repeated offenders in cases of murder and rape is also interesting idea. NGOs somehow managed to push "rights" of criminals and agressors before those of their victims.

Reinstate freedom of speech in full and make it untouchable in constitution. It is not just right, but basic mechanism of human society. Without it, no progress is possible at all.
662  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of BTC - up about 150% in the past 12 months. Reasons? on: April 04, 2017, 07:38:42 AM
The bitcoin price rose enormously in the last year. We had about 150% increase in the past 12 months.

What do you think caused that?

1. The Halving.
2. Nothing in particular. It is standard for BTC to gain value as a result of general adoption growing.
3. Future Bitcoin projects potential - mainly: Coin ETF, but at that time SegWit and LN were hyped as well.
4. Something else or combination of all factors presented above?

Do you think rising trend will continue in 2017?

Or we will hit the ceiling soon due to current bitcoin problems: unresolved scaling debate, fee war etc.

Id vote for combination of the above. It is also worth noting, that we finally bottomed out about year ago from bear market that lasted three years (!), recovery was only overdue in that regard.

I believe rising trend will continue this and the next year with large bumps alond the road. We will see 3000 eventually atleast before bear market resumes in its full strength.
663  Economy / Economics / Re: Gibraltar War on: April 04, 2017, 07:04:37 AM
Theresa May would be prepared to go to war to protect Gibraltar as Margaret Thatcher once did for the Falklands.War between Great Britain and EU countries for some rock on the sea,if that will happen than all kind of friendly relation between GB and EU will be destroyed, financial tornado becouse of London Citi, all financial institution will have leave Citi to make business in EU,normally btc price will sky rocket.even that kind of official comments from top GB politician is pure madness.Lets see markets in monday

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/apr/02/britain-and-eu-worse-off-without-brexit-deal-says-michael-fallon

Geopolitics doesnt work the same way, it worked back in 18th century. Especially since thanks to globalization, Hernandez in Spain, you, your mother and your cat are all owned by bankers and politicians who know each other very well. Fuck the same pool of whores and snort coke from the same table.

Also EU is not Spains project, it is effectively governed by Germany and unelected power elite in Brussels.

If there will be another war for the precious rock, it will be because of Arab colonizers, not because some deal is being replaced by another. Stop being autistic.
664  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Time To Get Painfully Honest: Banks Are Evil on: April 04, 2017, 06:49:30 AM
Well banks is getting evil if you weren't able to comply you obligations on your debts to pay. Honestly we have no control on their penalties sanctioned for those creditors who commited dues to be charged as failure of completion, that's why we are not ready to feel the pain if these banks were really imposing rules that's not fair anyway.

State authorities regulate penalties to debtors, not banks themselves. State authorities are ultimately responsible to voters (both debtors and creditors), thats the rulebook. It shouldnt be too suprising that banks go out of their way to bleed dry people, who tried to rob its shareholders of profit after signing voluntary deal with them.

From what I have seen among private bitcoin lenders operating on p2p lending websites, they are no better. Some going as far as hiring thugs to get their precious coins back.
665  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Time To Get Painfully Honest: Banks Are Evil on: April 04, 2017, 06:43:59 AM
Hydrogen,

thats rather immature post on your part. What is not alive, cannot be "evil"  Wink when it comes down for it, banks are in the bussiness for the same reason you and me are. To make a profit. They have inherent advantage in capital and pool of well paid talent those institutions can fall back on, but its all to make a profit. For shareholders, you see.
666  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: April 04, 2017, 06:41:41 AM
you can simply get a job and get payed in bitcoin with service like bitwage if you are not good at trading or don't want to invest in mining

otherwise you need to sell goods, for example i made something by selling custom open frame rig for mining to other miners

This should be set in stone. Easiest way of making money is to have a job - reguler and dependant salary in the first place.

Some other prudent principles are:

1) Money makes more money. The bigger the capital, the easier it is to capitalize on it.
2) Never spend more than 5% of net worth on any particular product, you dont want all your eggs in the basket at the same time.
3) If you can buy consumble XY today, leave it for tommorrow. Let your capital grow.
667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can break above $1,100 again? on: April 03, 2017, 06:15:41 AM
Probably a lot of weak hands who sold during the FUD dip who are now thinking, "Oh shit! I better buy back in quick before it's too late!" Silly weak hands.

Exactly.

Setting themselves up for yet another shaking up by whales. It would be hilarious, if most of these people werent putting up their savings into mouth of waiting sharks.

Bubbles are only started after proper market capitulation, that is way ahead of us.
668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: April 03, 2017, 05:56:03 AM
Im starting to suspect that the majority of the bitcoin buying keeping the price up is traders getting into ALTs.

Lol. Get out of here with your uninspired bitcoin FUD. The opposite is happening.

Now, or do all the forum members have memory of puppy dog? We are growing at decreasing volume and there is currently resistance at around 1200.

We have seen multiple, dozens even, examples of prices losing up to 30% of value before rebouncing. Back in summer of 2013 even rapid rise to 140 and then months long descent towards 70.

I would expect more rational perspective from seasoned member like you, Ted.

Unless we break 1250, 800 is in the play.
669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Almost 1,100 on: April 03, 2017, 05:24:34 AM
It's better to keep holding. The altcoin bubble is over, we saw people going into altcoins due the JihanCoin hard fork fear, since nothing is happening people are going back to bitcoin by taking profits from the altcoin bubble.

I actually agree with you. If you are investor, it makes no sense to pull out before we reach 2000 USD/Bitcoin. Even, if it took another year, it would be great investion by any standart.

Yet, about 90% of forum users have either gambling streak or do profit from gamblers... and so it goes.
670  Economy / Speculation / Re: YORK's price prediction topic. on: April 03, 2017, 05:19:45 AM
Yes the bounce is already expected for weeks by me. This is the recovery of the second down move. We are still in the pattern of the chart like i said many times before.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/ST356mvt-03062334-BITCOIN-BE-PREPARED/

Just push the play button to see how the movement is correct with the graph.
Sadly we can expect a HUGE crash at the end of march.
Perhaps because of more BU or fork confirmed.
I admit that i dont know yet what will cause this upcoming dump but hold on tight!
This chart is 100% correct for this whole month so far.
I still want bitcoin to stay in this 'uptrend' what just looks at a strong bounce before heading south again if you ask me.

 Shocked ??

 Roll Eyes

Probadly typo. Meant end of april. Quite possible actually as we are growing on fairly low (and decreasing volume). There is also line of resistance currently standing  at about 1200.

Fair warning is fair.
671  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chicago police arrest 14-year-old boy over sex assault streamed live on Facebook on: April 03, 2017, 05:16:51 AM
Is there anyway that the ones who watched but didn't report be identified, They should be all arrested and charge for being accessory to rape.

That should be the case. Since the perpetrator is just 14 years old, most probably he will be let off with a warning. Else, the human rights activists such as Rev. Pussy Jackson will accuse the cops of being racist and take out protest rallies and marches.

I am afraid you are right. Authorities do not seem so concerned about "privacy rights" of criminals, who come from within native, majority population.

I wouldnt be suprised either if perpetrator got away with psychological care at clinic. Liberals are more concerned about feelings of criminals, than justice for victims and victim families.
672  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chicago police arrest 14-year-old boy over sex assault streamed live on Facebook on: April 03, 2017, 03:02:55 AM
It's terrible of course that the world is so degraded. They behave worse than animals and consider it normal. The modern generation has fewer moral values and morals.

Coming from somebody named "JofryTheKing" on this forum in particular, I wouldnt be suprised, if you didnt know anything about topic, that you are writing about.

This is not "the world", it is facebook stream. And I dont even know, what is supposedly the "modern" generation. Anybody younger than you Jofrey? Minorities? People who use stream?

Internet has nasty habit of lending its users mistaken feelings of anonymity and with it invincibility. Of course, it is not so. The young criminal in the article have already found out.
673  Economy / Speculation / Re: price went up, opportunity to buy cheap is now lost on: April 03, 2017, 02:53:37 AM
as i am writing this price is $984 according to bitfinex and it seems like the opportunity to buy cheap coins with a big discount is now officially over.

finally the sell pressure is not to be seen and it seems to me like FOMO[1] is kicking in. specially since many weak hands sold their coins in the depressing days recently. lets see where this ends up. i hope everyone learns some lessons from this.

[1] Fear of Missing Out

Gambling opportunity? You will see sub-900 coins again this year. Dont you worry.

Market moves in fractals and back in 2013, price averaged between 80 and 130 for most of the year.

I understand desire to pump the price a little bit more, perhaps as high as 1200, but you should be well advised, that whales do not abide by bitcointalk "to da moon" threads. Otherwise, they wouldnt stay whales for long.
674  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation Rule: buy when others are irrationally pessimistic or too cautious on: April 03, 2017, 02:47:00 AM
that is the time when price is at the lowest (with the exception of weird unexpected stuff like bitfinex hack and the drop).

The Bitfinex hack overreaction was another buying opportunity.

You only registered in 2016. It is quite easy to make money while bull trend lasts.

If you abided by your own advice during bear market, that is in 2013-15, you would go bankrupt. I should know, I did go bankrupt at that time.
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Google says 1 BTC is worth 1 386 969$ on: April 03, 2017, 02:38:15 AM
Hyena, as others have already said. It is simple mistake at using coma.

In you picture it says: 5487 Bitcoins.

For you conspiracy theorists out there, who walk about with aluminium caps on their heads - I am sure Google of all companies would make its "scheme" public with simple search button.
676  Economy / Services / Re: 23 yo college couple - webcam show for bitcoins on: April 03, 2017, 02:20:36 AM
How many haters there is in this thread, and for what? For couple cents from the campaign? Let the couple do what they wish to do, and if someone doesn't like that move fucking away! But no, you need to say how its wrong to fuck on internet, its wrong to sell your bodu , what a idiots you are.
Now...We are living in the crazy world, people will do a sex thing for a bit, mhmmm..

U better finish your collage and find a job..U will not live forever then don't live like an animal..
Welcome to the reality, which some people will do anything for living.

And after this comment you two turned on sone porn and started to jerk? People are hungry, and they do many things for food and drugs, and clothes, not everyone have rich parents and nice house with great work.

DON'T JUDGE! Its the ugliest thing that someone can do, and this thread is full with judge's. Don't comment if you don't like content, move always, do what ever you wish just let the people live how they know.

I doubt you ever experienced anything close to starvation. Starving people dont have fast internet connection, pay college fees and yet still have time to offer strangers look at their hairy butts.

If someone freely decides to whore themselves out for 30 dollars, than whoever else should feel free to judge them for it. Now, go. Beg for *free* vouchers.
677  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's Job Approval Rating on: April 02, 2017, 08:32:45 PM
The Liberals are almost willing to let the country burn just to show that Trump is incompetent. The real blame should go to the DNC, They are the reason Trump won in the first place. But since most Americans are shallow minded they choose to disregard that and continue with their annoying demonstrations, They should face the facts they lost and they need some restructuring in their party.

Almost? They already did burn down Baltimore and started riots at university campus.

It is hilarious, that so many of them are into bitcoin too. Af if bitcoin was some communist social justice product in the first place.

And I am not even into the fact, that some of them proposed to cut off their genitals, if their elected president builds wall on borders with Mexico.

If anything, elections proved, that college educated, rich white kids suffer all kinds of mental illnesses and are anything but future of the country, that used to be superpower.
678  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I was hoping Trump would come out and admit on: April 02, 2017, 08:23:33 PM
I'm hoping Bernie survives til 2020

Cute.

What are doing on evil capitalist bitcointalk again? That does not go for just you either, as this thread is full communists, who fell in love with life-long GOVERNMENT employee, who preaches equivality from one his tax-paid villas.

Atleast, Trump didnt get rich pretending, that he is marxist Jesus. And you Americans laugh at Cubans for adoring another hypocritical ultra-left dictator...
679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 02, 2017, 08:15:26 PM
Looked at Bitcoin and Litecoin prices a few minutes ago....

Even bearstamp's hit $1099, and there's only 225 coins to go before it hits $1100. This is an unexpected pump as the banks aren't even open yet.

Since we didnt see any retrace over the weekend, I wouldnt be suprised at all, if bull trap awaited us during tommorrow or day after that. It wouldnt be the first time we decide to take a plunge on monday... and we still havent really retested bottom, did we?

Ill stay on sidelines untill we either revisit bottom or reach 1250.
680  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: April 02, 2017, 09:31:28 AM

My last post

Bye guys

Don't leave Afrikoin, this is one of the threads I look forward to whether the price goes up or down no matter if you're right or wrong  Cry

He might be just overworked. Betting large sums of money and being completely honest and public about it is no doubt quite taxing on ones nerves.

For all his service, I wish Afrikakoin nice vacation in his favourite destination. He deserves it and more.
