Just broke 10k  Dump time. Buying back later. This is what I was saying earlier. My buys are inanely low because I know how these markets swing. What is insanely low? 1k? My buy order is at 5601 Trying to go in front of that fake 9btc buy wall? I wouldn't, I would go below it because that rug will be pulled out from under your feet. 6 million coins were mined recently, have they all been dumped already? I doubt it but I could be wrong. Any pool holding that hasn't paid out will do so in one big sell off. More than one pool, more than one sell off. And you have noob traders that panic buy and panic sell.  Maybe you're right indeed. So, I will lower my buy order. Where's yours? How low should I go. I know it's just a guess/gamble. If I told you a number and you lost money, or potential profit, I would feel responsible. I place ranges of orders across prices that seem too low, because if I don't then I end up buying too high. Breaking your orders up across price points, 3 orders at this level, 3 small orders at this level, 2 small orders at this level, etc, helps prevent choosing the wrong price , it's hard to bet on one point and the volatility is so great you really don't have to. Just watch the market closely, most traders know this is a good one, but are sitting patiently waiting for the true bottom to form, remember people were buying at 900 satoshis just a few days ago before Trex. They'll take profits when they see a confirmed downtrend and realize it ain't gettin no better. People still have coins sitting on pools they need to get and sell. I would just watch carefully over the next 24-48 hours. Pro was at 180 or so then 24 hours later 500. So don't feel like if you don't act now you'll miss it. Patience is profit. 9 btc wall is mine. its not going anywhere. I have orders above and below it as well. but I have my biggest order at where i think it will sell off too as miners sell off the last of the pow blocks. |

Does anyone know whats next in the pipeline for this coin now when we have encrypted messaging?
I'v heard some speculation, possibly anon. pow ended with 6.430.586 coins Funny to see how FUD is coming to this topic, just when SDC is added to bittrex Guys : stop FUD it's useless, buy instead, it's still cheap yes exactly... tired of people trying to fud good coins just to get a coin a few sat cheaper... makes no difference when this thing goes 20x+ Eventually, but don't be naive and lose money or cause others to lose money. These idiots would dump BTC if they could, you know the dev abandoned BTC right? Every good coin, including this one, will be dumped to hell by the retarded "traders" before it gets a chance to just go up in price. Expect it, don't be caught bagholding and act surprised that what happens to every other coin out there, also happens to this one. Set low buys, get back in after the FUD dumps, the idiot dumps, the dumb ass dumps and of course the miner dumps. Yes, his is why i think the floor at 10k is nice. It will catch all those miners dumping from pow phase. At 31k block pow was done. At block 31510 all of pow blocks will have been confirmed. Im going with 32k as a conservative estimate of all the miners being done dumpin and the multipools etc. |

Bittrex admins have been really busy lately, so at the request of some SDC investors, I decided to check Shadowcoin's code. I'm not related to Bittrex at all, just giving my personal opinion here.
First of all the dev seems very competent, I can't find any issues or missed edits that he hasn't already fixed.
The code itself looks good, there are no hidden blocks or other tricks, it's clean and straightforward.
The biggest problem I've seen in POW --> POS coins is not having a POS checkpointing server set up properly (I've fixed 5 or 6 other coins with this issue.) Shadowcoin has a proper functioning POS checkpointing server and the POW end code is correct also.
Everything looks good to me.

All little things but you can tell this is no PnD scam coin. First real deal coin out in a long time.

Go on. code is being reviewed by bittrex. When its clean, and more features roll out then whats your excuse? Over 83 GH/s and rising... ASICS and multipools are raping this coin now... If this continues, one or a few parties may end up making a hugely unfair distribution. Devs should consider reducing pow or something. It would not be wise or fair to let this continue, imo.
i completely agree. Pow needs to be cut, to protect the investors. PoW cut would be awesome. Some big asic farms must be involved now and that might result quite unfair distribution. We are considering our options in light of ASICS and multipools. Will keep you guys posted. thanks for the updates. |

This is probably a dumb question, but what should the price be for this coin?
Like, currently I'm mining it and have roughly 15 coins after 15 minutes or so (unconfirmed as yet), which are worth roughly 1 penny each I believe. So, why should I mine this coin when I can mine other more profitable coins currently, and then sell them to buy more of this coin?
Am I missing something? Why are so many people mining this coin right now?

you can do either. Mining this coin gets the pow phase over faster, or you can mine others and buy. The trick is just to make sure you have some shadowcoin. Cloak just peaked with almost 7 million market cap tonight. Shadowcoin is rolling out twice as many features as cloak coin, so a 7 million cap is quite obtainable. Though 2 million in the short term is the first goal. The next 2 weeks will be very exciting. Lul are you sure!? Lol, i guess the blocks cant go any faster than they are made to. Mining it raises the diff, There thats a better answer. Was getting excited. |
