Hopefully, he will post when he has made his decision.
42  Economy / Lending / Re: seeking 1000 USD loan, interest 15%! FUNDED on: August 03, 2014, 12:12:01 PM
Pics or it didn't happen.  Seriously, you have a better car than I drive now.  I need to start a thread up  Grin.  This is an example of a real community project, please don't let the people who supported you down and the best of luck to you in your new gig.

Erm... What are you even talking about? The loan is fully funded, and we believe him. We need no more proof. We have verified that its him, and he can sell the account for much more. This isn't a gig.

Relax. I was congratulating him on his new car & job (gig)  and everyone who pulled together to fund the loan. I wanted to see his new car because it sounds like a great car which should help him  repay this loan and keep earning a living.

A little levity is not such a bad thing especially when good things are happening.

I have so many ideas for this machine, but I would be homeless and single after my wife booted me out of the house....hmm would I get a repeat customer discount since I spent $2200 dollars on mining equipment before  Grin the laser could keep me company
46  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Spondoolies SP10's forsale - 25 Units available. on: August 01, 2014, 06:50:01 AM
You have mined your BTC to offset the loss in selling these units if not then hold onto them until you break even or make a meager profit especially if your SP30s are not coming in until Oct.  Individiual mining even if you dropped $50,000-65,000 is never going to compete with industrial mining.  Small time mininers need to enjoy mining and continue it for the sake of the bitcoin ecosystem, fun, and learning.  The perfect storm of the high miner hashrate of the Oct. and to a small degree Nov. Jupiters combined with syrocketing BTC prices is a difficult scenario to recreate.

You have BTC garden selling their wares at $0.85/Gh and others going close to $1-1.2/G so asking a higher premium for used equipment makes no sense.  Point your 35 Ths at a p2pool node and benefit the bitcoin system some more if you haven't already done so.

Hope you still have time for one more.

My coins look great. Thanks for working with me while waiting on my BTC deposit.
49  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2013 Casascius 0.5 "Half" Bitcoin "Right off the Roll" Prices LOWERED! on: July 24, 2014, 12:43:06 AM
I can't wait to get my first coins in and send them off to have them graded.  Yankee was excellent to work with.  Hopefully, he will want to buy one of my new MS-70 2013 Casascius 0.5 when I get it back from ANACS  Grin .

I will buy all your MS-70's for sure!

Maybe ICG MS70 but not ANACS MS70 Tongue

I am a complete noob so don't hate when I ask: what's the difference? ICG has higher requirements?

Actually the opposite.  Coins that I've never seen in MS68s and 69s from ANACS, I've seen in those grades from ICG.

I am new to coins as well so thanks for the information. I am staying away from EBay (for now) and sticking with tusted members here for coins. I have done some research on them so I am not a complete neophyte, but have much more to learn. I think this could be the start of a bad habit.

I know I am not a legit collector until I get a 2011 error which I am working on.

51  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Approximately 13Th for Sale (US only) on: July 22, 2014, 05:11:36 AM
I have sent gateway an offer for the batch and have spoken with sidehack about hosting to finalize the details (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.msg7814500#msg7814500 ) of course you can take ownership of your miner as well.  It all depends how much gateway wants for the batch and how many people actually want miners.  Everything would be handled through escrow to ensure no problems arise.  Since, I am waiting to hear back from gateway I will wait to discuss any further options, but hopefully we can get this deal completed soon and have everyone hashing away.  Please let me know if anyone is interested before I invest any more time in this venture.
52  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KNC Jupiter ~700GH Ships from Canada; Warranty ends November on: July 18, 2014, 10:45:28 AM
Looking for at least 3 btc; it comes with the power cable.

No lie, this was operating at nearly 800GH  Shocked

You can get 1 Th/s machines for 2.4 BTC so why would you expect 3 BTC for a used miner with lower hashing speed?
53  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Technobit HEX4M w/ minion chips installed on: July 15, 2014, 12:52:09 AM
I am also interested in some of these boards pending the final specs as well.
54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: head banging on: July 09, 2014, 03:26:34 AM
If cgminer can't see it, it usually means you're plugging it into an unsupported usb3 slot. See if you have any usb2 slots.

What other forum can you get direct software support from the developer? Awesome.
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Raspberry Pi controlling mining gear on: July 05, 2014, 10:32:36 PM
Not really sure this belongs in mining hardware but here is another ARM based option running full Ubuntu or other options.

Not my find someone else was using them.
56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: IN STOCK * Yiazo YBF Bitfury miner 30 up to 380GH/s * 75 EURO on: June 25, 2014, 03:34:33 AM
I am going to watch the auctin to guage the interest/price level people are willing to committ too.  You have a great looking product developed by well known community members, but with the current spikes in difficulty and BTC price hanging around $600 it is difficult to invest in a product that with a $/Ghs ratio especially when including PSU.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Metadisk - Blockchain Based File Sharing - Powered by Storj on: June 21, 2014, 09:57:44 AM
You have some crossover of your storj forum and BTCtalk forum users, but if there is enough room I would like to participate.  Thanks.

Batch #1 is currently full but you can request to be added to batch #0 on the storjtalk forums here.  We'll be opening up batch #2 for BTCTalk users in the near future.
58  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Open Source Block Erupter Project on: June 20, 2014, 03:21:03 PM
I am not an EE or fabricator but I could obtain ~6,000 chips for a GB maybe a few more if friedcat is feeling generous about this project. Since, I am not a well known member and have not yet been vetted I would accept escrow for this order and would only place it if there was enough interest.

Edit: current price would be ~$5 per chip
59  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Habanero - 650GH/s - Batch 2 Shipping June 9th, $850 ($1.3/GH/s) on: June 16, 2014, 10:39:37 AM
You may already know this but you can chain those PSU together and load balance them. Also sidehack is working on a larger PSU like Mr. Teal's behemoth big ass PSU

Look at the server PSU's from sidehack. Just bought 2 for $120 shipped. They are 91% efficient or more and 750w PSU's.
60  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: A2 Terminators 85,000KHs~90,000KHs Scrypt ASIC In Stock and Ready to go. on: June 09, 2014, 07:27:24 PM
Are we talking about a machine that has been mined on for a month or a new new device? If it is the latter the price should be LOWER not higher, but that is my opinion which worth little even as a potential customer. I would like to buy two of these devices but since there has been no price change for the increase in difficulty or network hashrate I have passed. Oh well my loss.

Dedicated to fair prices and good service. We are legendary on this forum. Please search this forums for our reviews on this forum.

http://zoomhash.com/collections/top-sellers/products/88-000khs-95-000khs-a2-scrypt-asic-stock-in-hand

Not sure about the fair prices with over a >= $2,000 depending on how fast you want a used machine when you can order directly from innosilicon.

1. $12K per 86Mhs machine if only order one samples with early bird delivery
2. $11K per 86Mhs machine on average if order 3 machines within 14 days accumulatively
3. $10K per 86Mhs machine on average if order 10 machines within 14 days accumulatively

Innosilicon

More importantly, the prices are the same as they were a month and a half ago.  But obviously the machines aren't worth as much as they were a month and a half ago.

We work on small margins and the payment options we offer costs money. Regardless, where do you think the price should be?
