While you don't get +EV with martingale, you get + profits 'easily' (at risk of ruin). Because martingale is +profits that's why people think it's +EV.
Exactly. That's why we can see so many posts in this thread talking about martingale works in the short run. They simply neglect the small chance that they can get a bad streak in the short run.

Economy / Gambling / Re: Urgent! Any site allows me to bet on Sunday's Greek vote?

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power already paid out on ' Yes ' votes for the Greek Referendum. It is very likely the ' Yes ' side will win.
If that's indeed true then there's HUGE value to be had on this bet, DirectBet currently has the odds for "Yes" @ 1.47 And the odds is now going up to 1.49. Why would they do so? I don't see any benefits of paying out early, but on the other hand, the house would be in loss when the result is not the same as they predicted. Occasionally, the gambit goes wrong. In 2003, Paddy Power paid out early on Arsenal winning the title, which was eventually won by Manchester United.

Bump in profit and big increase in turnover and house bank from BTC3188 to BTC3878. I saw there was a whale betting huge I guess he lost pretty big, as long as theymos is having fun with the forum funds I guess Actually who do we think the whale was? Are you talking about Peerbet or PRC here?

Economy / Gambling / Re: [HELP] what's the best wining method of Roulette ?

Firstly, roulette is about luck and there is a house edge to make sure the house will win more likely than to lose. The more you play, the larger the effect of house edge will be. Secondly, even if there is a winning method, you should use it on dice sites which have lower house edge.
So, there is any wining method for dice I have no idea about dice game actually. I've played several times Roulette, Blackjack, Poker & Slots in the non btc gambling sites. No. Both roulette and dice are about luck only, and they work pretty much the same way. In roulette there are 37 (single zero) or 38 (double zero) possible outcome and you can choose to bet on any one of them, while in dice the possible outcome are from 0.00 to 99.99 and you can choose to bet on "<1.00" or ">95.51" or anything like that.

if you have 1000btc and start very low it could work out but nobody play with these big amounts
By starting low do you mean that as 1 satoshi? Not worth it as each loss double up your wager amount and if it lose then you loss keep on pilling up and if you win , you will only gain 1 satoshi in return. In fact why dont you read above of your post as I have explicitly stated that even if you have alot of BTC and start as low as possible, the strategy will not be working at some point. Also if someone has 1000 BTC to play with then that person will not be willing to collect dust of 1 satoshi . Quoted them because you missed them you cant have an infinite bankroll and all sites have their maximum win amount . At one point if you keep on losing then you will hit the max win amount limitation on the site and you cant continue to double up your wager amount
Well, the max bet or max profit limit is not what make martingale doesn't work. For your reference, you can bet on JD as little as 0.00000001 CLAM and the current max profit is 135893 CLAM. Will martingale work on JD? I am afraid not.

Theoretically, if you have an infinitely large bankroll, you will consistently win money in the long run. Of course noone has a bankroll that big,
Infinite bankroll is not a guarantee that you will consistently win in the long run especially if you use martingale. And this has been discussed several times, so you need to check some previous posts about this. do you mean that if you have for example 1,000,000 BTC (i mil) and started from 0.00000001 BTC (1 satoshi) you could lose at some point ? p.s. i know the numbers are unreal but we are theory crafting about an infinite bankroll here. Why not? Bets are independent of each other, that means the chance for you to lose the next bet is always the same no matter what your previous rolls are. If you agree it is possible to get 20 losses in a row, you have to agree that it is possible to get 21 losses in a row and the chance is just halved, so on and so forth.

I really think the folks arguing here would get more out of it if they would just stop and read the wikipedia article on martingale betting strategy.
Wikipedia will only tell you the opinion of an expert and here we are talking about the opinions by experienced gamster's.And they don't know a shit about changing seeds! changing seeds won't help also.. According to my experience at PrimeDice, changing seeds does help.I used to change it after every 20~30 bets.It minimized the lose! Changing seeds doesn't change your chance to win. You could be getting better or worse after changing your seed, and it is just luck.

The game works pretty much like Luckybit, but looks a lot more fun. Nice work OP. Just visited the site. I'm prefer dark background so I can see all thing clearly. And about "doink" sound effect, it's kindda annoying. Maybe you can set mute option for user to choose. Well this is another type of 'luckybit' , it's fun . Good luck for the site ,sir
There is a mute option on the right side, just below the "Options" text.
