Also als erstes mal der obligatorische HInweis: Du weißt wieviel Einkommen du zu erwarten hast? Ja? Gut!

Zu deinem Rig: Frage ob es in ein Case soll oder nicht. Wenn nein, dann plan ruhig 5 bis 7 Grakas pro Rig ein. Das spart dir einmal die komplette Basishardware. Wenns in ein Case soll dann ist die Frage ob 3 oder 4 Grakas pro Case.
Bei drei ist einfach:

Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme 4
AMD Sempron 140 Prozessor Mehr braucht man nicht.
2GB Ram (8 wenn du auch LTC minen willst)
und ein NT. Die Frage ist welche Karten du nehmen willst. Aktuell kann ich die 7950 empfehlen. Da kannste so grob 250W Pro Karte +100W fürs Rig einplanen. Für 4 Karten habe ich mir ein 1200W NT gekauft. Für 3 Karten nimmste ein 1000W NT da biste sicher. Nimm ein Gutes. Corsair oder Seasonic sind gut. Effizienzgrad Gold oder Platin.
GPUs: 7950ger. Am besten von MSI die Twin Frozr (Nicht erhältich), oder von Gigabyte die Windforce (gute Kühlung)

Ne kleine HDD Dazu oder ein USB Stick für Linux reicht. Wobei ich persönlich immer lieber ne kleine HDD nehm.

Bei 4 Karten im Case wirds schwerer. Entweder auf Intel umschwenken (teurer) ASUS P8C WS + kleine Ivy Bridge Celeron CPU oder aber gebraucht nach nem MSI xxx -GD70 suchen. ZUm Bsp. 890FXA-GD70 Ansonsten dann das gleiche Setup wie oben.
Beim Case auf guten Airflow achten: Corsair Carbide 500R sieht gut aus. Ebenso Coolermaster HAF X  oder HAF XM

Wenns nicht in ein Case soll: Ein board mit möglichst vielen PCI-E Anschlüssen und dann Riserkabel kaufen.

Just a short answer for I am at work:

CPU: Take a smaller and cheaper modell! A Sempron or Dual Core Athlon should be sufficient.
MB: ASROCK 970 Extreme 4: Cheap and has 3 Slots.
PSU: Good
Ram: Good (For BTC Mining: 2GB, für LTC: 8GB)
GPU: 7950 is actually a pretty good modell. MSI Twin Frozr are good. Gigabyte Windforce (with 3 fans) also also good. Look for good Coolingssolutions on the Card. (I think if you want to wait for the MSI, you would wait long. They are sold out everywhere.

It doesn't matter if INtel or AMD. Take the cheaper system. You don't need CPU computing power



 

Was ist deiner Meinung nach Inflation? Meiner Meinung nach Ist Inflation Wertverlust des Geldes der dadurch entsteht das man mehr Geld druckt... Wie soll das ein Politiker bei Bitcoins beeinflussen? Gut ich gebe zu das ich ein zu geringes technisches Verständnis habe um zu wissen ob es möglich ist die 21 Millionen Bitcoin Grenze einfach durch umprogrammieren des BTC Algorithmus auszumerzen. Aber ich kanns mir nicht vorstellen.

Ja du hast Recht: Staatskrisen wird es immer geben. Aber aufs Geld hat der Staat dann erstmal keinen direkten Zugriff mehr. Man könnte jedoch auf andere Totalitäre Weise in den Bitcoinhandel eingreifen: Man könnte die Kontrolle über alle anderen "unverschlüsselten dezentralisierten" Ausdehnen. Bei Allen Vorteilen die Bitcoins bieten: Brot gibts eben nur Zentral beim Bäcker oder im Supermarkt. Und da sehe ich durchaus Ansatzpunkte die dem Staat eine Kontrolle quasi durch die Hintertür ermöglichen. Aber das ist schon sehr weit gedacht...

Ja die Rechnung habe ich auch schonmal gesehen. Aber das ist in meinen Augen Quatsch. Genauso könnte man bei Aktien erklären: Ja das Unternehmen ist doch nicht weniger wert weils ein böses Gerücht gibt. Trotzdem fällt der Kurs.

Deine Rechnung geht davon aus das der Bitcoin irgendwann einmal die Fiat Währungen komplett ersetzen wird. Vielleicht wird er das. Aber bei den aktuellen Kursbewegungen geht es sicher nicht darum irgend eine reale Wirtschaft abzubilden. Letzlich ist der Bitcoinmarkt aktuell fest in der Hand von Spekulaten. Und es funktioniert auch so gut, weil im Gegensatz zur Börse hier 99% der Handeln nichtmal geringste Grundkenntnise über den Handel an Spekulativen Märkten haben, weswegen sich das ganze gut Steuern lässt.

Trau mich gar nicht ins bett zu gehen... Was erwartet mich morgen?... Hmm nun ja... bestenfalls billige Bitcoins.. Ich würde mir nochmal nen einstelligen Kurs wünschen.... Weiß nur nich genau wann.

Rule of thumb: All cables just fit in there where they belong. Yo you can't really make mistakes if don't use excessive force.
The cables for the grapic cards are also labeled as PCIE, if i remember right.

It is absoluteley possible to add the other cards later. Just switch of the PC and disconnect it from the power

until now i make everything manually. I will give these drivers and the conf file a try.

Last thing to ask: What is if Bitcoin crashes during the next few weeks? Then I won't have the Coins to pay 30.000 USD worth.

I live near the Border to Switzerland in Germany, so I would definitly pick it up personally. But you would only accept Cash? No Bitcoins? That could be a problem as all my funds are in Bitcoins, it would take a while to transfer all that money to my bank account, so I think, if you don't accept Bitcoinpayment (at whatever conditions you like), The ASIC will only remain a dream for me.

OKay you posted in your ebay auction: I would prefer to receive the payment via bank transfer or bitcoin. To encourage you to do so I will give you a 2% discount.

So if I understand you right, I can bid on the auction, win it,  then wait until the device has arrived at you in Zürich. Then travel to you to Zürich, bring along my bitcoinwallet, convince me that this thing exists and works, then transmitt you the appropriate amount of BTCs, wait for confirmation and take the ASIC home with me? Is that right?

What is if Avalon chooses to deliver  instead of 15.April maybe in August: Can i retreat from my bid in that case? And how long is it binding?

Partially solved:

I managed to use my monitor together with the IGP Port while mining with the AMD GPU. That works fine. Only think which is unsolved so far: In this configuration, I am unable to overclock the GPU or even read their temperature an fan speeds with CG miner.
When i plug in my monitor in the AMD Card, and remove the dummyplug, everything works fine. I can start the miner and overclock the GPU to whatever I want. After switching back the monitor to the IGP, cgminer crashes. I can restart it, but GPU is then again neither by cgminer nor by Cataclyst Driver Software tuneable anymore.

what i don't find good about the fractal Design is the only 120mm Fan on the side panel. 200mm or bigger would be good there.

Ah I started it locally. Monitor was connected to IGP. Dummyplug in 7950. PC Restart. Then minerstart from commandline with given attributes:

 --scrypt --gpu-platform 1 -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3334 -u *** -p ***  --thread-concurrency 21712 -I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --gpu-engine 1000

the --gpu-engine 1000 command at the end does nearly nothing. I am also not able to overclock my Card via the Cataclyst Control Center and AMD Overdrive. It seems as if it would not be there. When i start just with the monitor connected to the 7950 (I cannot use dummyplug for IGP) than all works fine.

Any Idea?

you need to connect 4 plugs to your cards. It doesn't matter which ones, as long as they are supposed to be connected to a PCIE GPU

Hmm... *grübel*.. Wie kann man für 3k€ 8-9MHash scrypt Leistung bekommen? Ich meine eine 7950 bringt ca 550kHash. Man bräuchte 14 7950 Karten für 8MHash.. Die alleine kosten schon 3500€

Gut mit gebrauchten vielleicht: 5850ger: Kosten ca 80€ und bringen max 350kHash. Wären 23 Karten. Sind 1900€ für Karten. Braucht man aber mindestens 4 Rigs mit je 6 KArten. Sagen wir mal 150€ pro Rig OHNE Netzteil. Sind nochmal 600€ Und nun brauchen wir noch Netzteile die jeweils 6 5850ger verkraften. Meine 4 haben 800W gezogen. also brauchen 6 Stück 1200 W. Ein gutes Gold- oder Platinnetzteil kommt auf mindestens 200€ Also nochmal 800€... Sind 3240... Okay hast mich...

Aber das ist ne Aufgabe: 24 58x0 Karten zu beschaffen!

Nur mal ein Schuss ins blaue: Hast du nen Crossfire Connector installiert? Wenn ja Weg damit! Ansonsten versuch doch mal die GPUs einzeln zu starten: Einfach --gpu-platform 0 bzw 1 in den Start von CGminer reinschreiben..
