nicehash is ripping you all guys .
Nobody hacked them, they simply decided to steal all bitcoins from their miners and hashing power buyers.
They steal hash power from miners, and they steal profit from hash power buyers.
They are classic scam company.
You believe them that they gave you this miner for free?
Only free cheese is in the mousetrap.
You don't have to mine to nicehash. The miner is not only for free but also faster than what is otherwise available in the market; closed or open source... I lost some money on nicehash, wasted my hashrate too. But this miner is good

Just tested neoscrypt: very happy with excavator! Faster than hsrminer and various ccminer forks. Solid 1700MHs per card (1080ti) with 70%tdp M=5 B=1650. Sure there is room for improvement. This conf seems stable for me: [ {"time":0,"commands":[ {"id":1,"method":"algorithm.add","params":["neoscrypt","eu1.altminer.net:10001","VZiVzVQrVVp7ympKQG3jxgTgcYWe8uW6Ti","c=VIVO d=20000"]} ]},

He just did less than 2 weeks ago. So it will probably take some time. That was the version I used too.

Just another Bitcoin fork with applied changes made by someone else. The Zero knowledge whitepaper it's based upon was made by the ZEC (Zcash) team (university professors) which didn't even use it for their own coin (ZEC) and went on instead of using ZkSnarks. So this Thai kid just forks BTC, uses their research and creates Zcoin. It's nothing special, won't ever see a wider adoption. ATM bunch of the coins are locked up in Znodes (masternodes which require 1000 coins) and the parasites are waiting on the miners to mine blocks so they can get the divident of 15 coins. It used to reward like 40 coins per mine block (50 coins in a block) but after the masternodes went live in december 2017, it now awards 28 coins per block to the miners. The breakdown in the past was: - 40 miners + 10 devs Now it's: - 28 miners + 15 znodes parasites + 7 devs per block. Profitability of this coin is worse than anything else. 99% of the hashing power is at only one pool (mining pool hub) where botnets account for like 85% of the hashing power. So with 8 x 1080ti and some change (multicore cpus, some 1050tis etc) I make barely 0.5 Zcoin per day ($26). I would seriously recommend anyone to steer clear of this failed project. The Lyra2Z algo is good, light on the cards (~40-60C), but this coin and it's circus management team have drove it to the bottom, and I'm pretty sure apart from botnets, soon, nobody will mine it. On their official chat (Telegram) - the users say: "We don't need miners, they are not loyal etc" - because the chat is filled with Znode (masternode) parasites who don't care if botnets provide the hashing power as long as they get their 15-30 coins per month without any effort (these people bought the coins when the value was like $1 or less per coin and now live off the dividents.).. Why is zcoin a dead end? Is it a bad project?
Thanks, this post is enough to get my hands off zcoin.

I'm afraid that Excavator with M=1 is about 5-7% lower than DSTM on Equihash with 1070 (420/450 sol/s), M=2 is even worse (400/450 sol/s).
I observe the same ratio on DSTM vs. Excavator. This is why I'm looking forward to a new release with equihash improvements @dropky

What to mine with 8x1080ti. I'm a fan of lyra2z, but seeing how MPH got swamped with bot-farms, the coin is no longer profitable to mine. The algo is cool though, very easy (or so it seems) on the cards so I'd like to switch to something else, Zcoin is a dead-end anyways.
Why do you think zcoin is a dead-end? I was planning to mine?!

Cool calculator. Im using whattomine and coinwarz.
GoByte on altminer pool should be good for test too. That vivo result is unreal
Yeah I think GoByte is a good candidate too. I have the wallet but never synched... Let's see, I'll give it a try

You should try some neoscrypt coins. Neoscrypt is very high at whattomine last days. I mined neoscrypt at ahashpool and hashrefinery before i moved to equihash and it wasnt so bad. Thinking about comeback, but my calculations still says there is not good pool for neoscrypt Btw ccminer-klaust was the best for my nvidia cards on neoscrypt Yeah, hard to find an established coin too. I mined Feathercoin and the results like this: Miner Pool Coin GPU Temp. Power output (watt) ccminer cuda9.1 ftc-tx.hashing.space:19327 Feathercoin ~71 1340 ccminer sp-mod ftc-tx.hashing.space:19327 Feathercoin ~62 990 ccminer cuda9.1 ftc-tx.hashing.space:19327 Feathercoin ~71 1328 Vivo-coin could be an idea as https://crypt0.zone/calculator/s/piirago0 suggests

Ty for sharing mate, I have a similar rig (4x strix + 2x OC ver) and getting 4K Sols at 70%, +100 core 0 mem. Std ones get 640 S/s and oc's 680/700. Will test eth after 28 th Feb and come again to post results
Thanks Pablo! Looking forward to your results. Also would be good to know your miner settings and the pool ;-)

That’s true 0.28€ cents per kWh from Greenpeace Energy... I’m planning a wind turbine investment though. It’s quite windy up here in Hamburg... I do pay 0.24€ "green electricity". Im gonna leave this country soon. Preise zum kotzen

Any other sites similar to this? https://crypt0.zone/calculatorAlso, if you can recommend any sites like jkcrypto, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Wow, looks nice. I use https://whattomine.com but the one you posted looks cleaner and has preliminary values calculated. Thanks!

The best thing to look for in beginner friendly coins is whether they have a huge market capitalization, a big circulating supply and what is the total number of coins printed for that particular cryptocurrency. Taking into account all these factors the best coins to invest in would be Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Siacoin and Cardano
I'm a friend of Siacoin too. Hard to buy though.

Readers, if you have new altcoin suggestions that works profitable with 1080ti cards, post it here and I can run the test on my rig and publish the results...
I'm planning to test Allium, X11, and Lyra2z soon.

Hi both,
I'm just taking a look at Lyra2rev2 for my 1080ti rig as it seems to be mined well with the pascal family.
I wonder what coin you mine and whether you observe more profitability over Zcash -which I'm currently mining?

I'm thinking of buying extra gpu cards for mining. Doesn't anyway one know the approximate time to make 1 ethereum with These cards
On 03.02.2018 I was making 0.05ETH in 69hours with 5 x 1080ti with ethminer at 38h/s per card. why you decided to mine ETH on 1080ti? It`s looks same as to choke nails with a microscope. you can do it, but why??? That was a short test run Nowadays, I'm mining ZEC. What about you? Do you have 2 cards? I made 38mh/s at around 63 Celcius... Here you can see my conf vs. results: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-nt-qrBJWz9gXytLmJqtNVG75hjuIXHzbw1eAqvXHEo/edit?usp=sharing

I want to say that I got around 710 with DSTM. I pretty much try them all as they release new versions. I end up sticking with Excavator due to better hash and no fees. I also get better hash with lyra2rev2. I run 3 workers with it.
Nice. That's what I also expect/hope from excavator. I just switched to DSTM from EWBF. I will let it run for few days and then give another try to Excavator. I always test the inflow to the wallet ;-)

@Kaan3000,
Give it a try using M=1 and 2 workers. I am using Titan X (pascal) from 2016 and get steady 755-760 h/s. I find pascal cards do better with 2 workers and maxwell with 1 worker.
Thanks Yenbus! I started with 2 workers. It wasn't much different than 1 worker -> both gave ~600 to 650. Then I applied 4 workers, it increased. Then I applied 6 workers and it crashed. This way I lowered to 5 workers per card and that seemed to be the highest in my configuration. Did you use DSTM? What do you get with your sweet Titan X? (I get solid 700h/s per card with DSTM)

Have played around with excavator today: Added 5 workers per card (1080ti) with M=1 equihash algo: - It goes max 1000h/s per card (I think this value is just an illusion)
- Hangs a little at around 800h/s per card (I wish this value could be sustainable)
- Lowers down to 660h/s and stays stable
M=2 -> crashes M=0 -> achieves max 650h/s M=1 and 6 workers per card -> crashes Here is my json: [ {"time":0,"commands":[ {"id":1,"method":"algorithm.add","params":["equihash","zec-eu2.nanopool.org:16666","t1giG5dAbFzdSjTAkNa7d8otMZQTqbk7nwX","z"]} ]},

Any plans to investigate your equihash algorythm? I think there is room for improvement and I know you can make it
