1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crpto investment in 2021 on: January 15, 2021, 09:41:09 PM
I've seen this question too many times in the last couple of weeks. Without a crystal globe, I don't think someone can give you an exact answer to this, but what you can do is research solid projects with real life applications or projects that already have a live product and a hard-working team behind them and if you like what you see, go ahead and invest. Always keep in mind the risks involved and make sure the rewards outweigh the risk.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain games on: January 15, 2021, 09:01:21 PM
Definitely there is huge potential and scope for growth in the blockchain gaming industry. There are already a few popular games around and a lot more scheduled to come out later this year or in the next years. Just a few days ago I read the news about a piece of land from the upcoming RPG game Mirandus being sold for $800k https://steemit.com/hive-148441/@whatageek/virtual-land-in-mirandus-sells-for-around-usd800-000-in-eth. That's amazing considering the game is yet to be released. Another highly anticipated blockchain game possibly coming out this year is EmberSword, one I'm really looking forward.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 15, 2021, 07:03:36 PM
Great thread and lots to learn from here! One my biggest mistakes in the crypto world was trusting a so called "crypto expert" and following his tips blindly, without taking the time to do any research on the coins he was shilling me. It all went well for a while till all the progress was wiped out in days. Learned a lot in the past years from my mistakes but it's good from time to time to recall them
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do You Take Profit From Your Altcoin Bags? on: January 14, 2021, 11:07:35 AM
Mostly depends on each individual strategy. I used to trade mostly altcoins for a few years now, but I must admit it's quite time consuming and stressful, but it can also be very rewarding. Due to a lot of circumstances that changed in my life, I switched from trading crypto to investing in blockchain projects with strong fundamentals and try to get in as early as possible. Minimum hold time is 6-9 months, I'm aiming for 5x 10x 20x profits. The advantages of this is I barely have to spend time monitoring the market, it's way less stressful than active trading plus the returns can be a way bigger.

Thank you for the warning, got too excited because these news came really fast one after the other. It is indeed legit, all the information can be verified online independently, after all transparency is one of the blockchain's main advantages. Appreciate the kind words, totally agree with what you said and in my opinion sports and crypto are a combination we'll see more often in the future.

As many anticipated, the new team announced yesterday are the football giants Real Madrid, giving the platform huge exposure all over the world. As if this wasn't enough, today they made another huge announcement: Gerard Pique - the legendary Barcelona defender - joins the Sorare team as a Strategic Advisor, leaving everyone speechless.

Sorare is truly becoming a global fantasy football game as big clubs are joining at a fast pace: Internationale Milano and Fenerbahce are the latest to get their licensed player cards on the platform. Another club is joining tomorrow - my guess is that it will be a big one. And than an announcement on Friday, exciting times ahead.

If you want to find out more about Sorare, read this article: https://sorarethegame.com/sorare-introduction/ and check out the tutorials to get you started https://sorarethegame.com/tutorials/

Definitely agree with you! And one of the great aspects of this is that a lot of non-crypto users are joining the ecosystem because of Sorare and their passion for football (soccer). The improvements made by the team and the fact that they managed to get on-board such big names like Bayern, Juventus, PSG plus entire leagues like MLS, J-League, K-1 mades me think they are legit and dedicated to their goals.

They also had a successful seed round earlier this year: "We are excited to share that Sorare has raised a $4M seed round. This represents a major milestone for our mission to make crypto assets fun and accessible through a global fantasy football game. The round was led by e.ventures and followed by Partech, Fabric Ventures, Semantic Ventures, Cygni Capital, World-Cup champion André Schürrle and existing investors" - full article here: https://medium.com/sorare/our-next-chapter-sorare-raises-a-4m-seed-round-led-by-e-ventures-b8e615bce191

Bringing in leagues like MLS and J-League gives them a lot of exposure all over the world and it's truly building the way for them to become the global fantasy football platform.

On top of all this, playing on Sorare adds a lot of extra excitement to match days plus it's better and more fun than any other football related game I ever played.

They are selling licensed cards from soccer teams, not NFL teams and part of their sale revenues are going to the respective clubs - the terms of these contracts are confidential between the two parties and not made public.

One of the biggest clubs in European football - Bayern Munich - was recently added to the platform. You can verify the news on Bayern's official website https://fcbayern.com/en/fans/fc-bayern-munich-joins-sorare%E2%80%99s-global-fantasy-football-game

PSG was added just a few weeks back: https://www.coindesk.com/sorare-paris-saint-germain-soccer-nfts-us-launch

They also have deals in place with MLS, J1 League, K-League 1 and Belgium Pro League.

Being involved in the non-fungible tokens (NFT) world for about one year, I couldn't notice the increase in popularity this platforms are registering in the last months. One of this platforms is Sorare - a Global Fantasy Football game developed on the Ethereum blockchain, supported by the gaming giant Ubisoft, where you can trade officially licensed player cards or use them in tournaments with over 20 ETH in rewards each week. Each card is a digital collectible that represents a football player and is tied to a specific football season. Thanks to blockchain technology fans can collect their favourite players with the benefits of provable scarcity (fixed supply). On top of that, Sorare Cards are freely tradeable and usable in an open world of different applications and games. Each collectible enjoys many of the attributes of other blockchain-assets: it cannot be copied or taken away from you. Users also enjoy access to the complete digital history of the card. This concept seems to be attracting more and more people weekly, even non-crypto users. I've put together some tutorials and guides for those who are interested, you can find them on my website:

www.sorarethegame.com

Over 100 football clubs around the world are licensed on Sorare including big european clubs like Juventus, Atletico Madrid, PSG and recently added Bayern Munich. A very dedicated and hard-working team behind this project who's plan is to attract million of football fans around the world on their platform. They sold over $3M worth of NFTs since their launch with the last months registering record amounts.

One of my favourite investments since the crisis started are NFTs (non-fungible tokens) projects which seem to register amazing growth in the last months. Spent my time in researching and monitoring a few platforms and I'm quite impressed by their evolution and the communities that are built around these. Most profitable ones seem to be the ones were the NFTs actually have utility and can be used to gain rewards.

Maybe you didn't notice the whole market is down, CHP just follows the lead. Doesn't mean anything at the moment.
If the market crashes, all the crypto will go with it. If it will get back on track, you will wish you owned some CHP

Today I noticed 1600 players online at some point, I think that's great for a wednesday night at this stage of the project. Not to mention players can't use helping software and can't even put notes on the players which lowers regulars edge against the rest of the players. A lot of things pointing out for a potential huge success.  Roll Eyes

Coinpoker and CHP could be a game changer with huge potential. I read a lot of news and comments about it, most were supporting, some were sceptic.
I joined the ICO this morning and I have a good feeling my trust will be rewarded sooner or later. Good luck at the tables
