661  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 05, 2014, 04:43:08 AM

UI says 1293GH - BTCG says 94GH but then stops

Total shares in 90 minutes - 11

on rebooting UI changes IP despite switching off DHCP

updated to latest FW... no diff

UI also states BTCG pool is 'dead' while all other rigs are running on that pool...

E2A - using 2 x Cougar 750w PSUs linked with 'Add2PSU'

I am having the exact same issue and I've tried multiple pools.

Shutting down until there's a solution.   Sad

what PSU are you using?

i sincerely doubt that is causing the lousy performance but would like to know anyway.

Alright, well, I got my SP20 rig today and I've got to admit, it's pretty nice.  I take back MOST of the stuff I said about Spondoolies.   Wink

Now tell me, what's the trick to getting it over 1310 gh/s?

buy 2 rigs Grin

Well, that's disappointing considering the site still says 1.7th/s +/- 10%

Blocknet's Wiki is starting to take shape and with that I am glad to announce that coingateway.net will be holding the ITO's btc in escrow.

Dan

love those serious company's where i can't find an adress. Good choise for escrow, not.

Coingateway did a great job with the alt coin - block distribution.  They've gained a lot of trust by doing that.

I REALLY hope the team has a better reason than that minor accomplishment.    Roll Eyes

Can you give us a status on how many BTC have been raised so far?

Time to make some tough decisions.  My gut tells me to get rid of everything ASAP but I'm trying to find reasons to convince me otherwise.

If you don' feel good about it I would sell. Why even post that comment here other than to troll a response?

If you'll see my edit, I'm trying to find more information.  The OP and website are sorely lacking in my opinion and there's a lot of shit to read through.  Ex. Why isn't there a running total in the OP?

The first part of your question was honest. But, seriously you know you were leading with your last comment. It would be nice to have a gauge of BTC that is for sure and agree 100%. I think there is a lot of time being spent defending their position on blocknet. Politics work that way.

You're right, leading them to post SOMETHING that isn't just dealing with the trolls...  Keep in mind, there are investors willing to stick this out, but, they need information and updates too.

I do request that you spend some more time on the OP and website...they're both missing a good amount of information (I hope).

wow, I have a look at this thread once in a while for an update on recent activities and such, but that proves to be rather challenging with all of this debate and arguing going on... It's hard to find any useful information.

I've been keeping up, and to be honest, there's nothing positive that's been posted in the past few days.  Some announcement about an announcement, but that's about it.

Why is the OP not being updated with any information? Links? Info about the status of the ITO? What about the website?  It's completely bare bones...and you're asking for 2500 btc?  At least put out the perception there is a professional team behind this $817k USD ask...  I could put together a hell of a website for less than .25% of that, take that into consideration.

You're making people have to read through 155 pages of complete crap to find the very little bit of real information.   Maybe Synechist should consider spending time on these sort of tasks rather than trying to defend everyone all day...

674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BRO] Coin Sale LIVE! |Breakout Coin|Virtual Mining Rig|CELEBRITIES|Gaming on: October 31, 2014, 09:43:48 PM
technically all coins have Bergstake.. Bergstake is defined as the coinbase transaction that creates the coin. There is a plan to "burn" the Bergstake from the 7 million promotional coins. 10 million coins will be sold before launch, and 2.5 million will be retained for devs.

Breakout Coins have Bergstake. neither can be created without the other.

So what I'm asking is about what is left from the 10 million coins.

What does it mean for those coins to go to a "private sale"?

1. Will the private buyers get a better deal than the ICO investors?
2. Is Bergstake attached to coins sold in a private deal?

ICO investors are at a disadvantage because we do not yet have a functional prototype of this gaming platform. So we are taking the biggest risk, which comes with it an implicit potential for the biggest gain. Of course you haven't said this is the plan, but if coins are going to be sold at a discount privately, then it would be most fair if ICO investors were given first crack. Also, an incentive for investing in the ICO could be the Bergstake, where private buyers would not have a chance to purchase it. If they want Bergstake, then they should take their chances like the ICO buyers.

+1

Early investors do have increased rewards, but I'd hate for someone to get a better deal in private.

24 hours left...will the SP20 tracking number be received?  I'd bet NO.
We are still working hard to ship out all the SP20s by tomorrow and will continue to update you.
You are one angry miner...
You mean about the fact that 3 days prior to their shipping deadline they had no clue if they could ship or not?  And 24 hours before there is no additional news? I may be angry, but it's better than being a pushover who just accepts these poor business practices.

think it was reference to the fact that spondoolies just promised that they will likely ship out all the SP20 orders by the end of the month - 1 hour before you said you dont beleive them

Time will tell, eh?

When you're right, you're right.  Looks like Spondoolies isn't shipping by the end of the month.  I'm shocked.   Roll Eyes

I love checking this thread (when I get home from work).  lol

Maybe you guys would consider letting those of us getting in on the coin sale in on a little beta action when the time comes?   Wink

Synechist...curious what your BLOCK salary is?   Let's make that public so we don't have another XC fiasco on our hands.

I have not been paid by the Blocknet. I've been paid by XC, in XC only (well, in BTC twice if I remember correctly).

I am asking what you WILL be paid so we know before you're paid and not told when funds have been all spent...

Nothing has been decided.

If I am officially put on the Blocknet payroll, this will be announced.

On the other hand, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with my salary becoming public knowledge, so perhaps that won't be disclosed.

My work for the Blocknet has been purely on a volunteer basis so far.

You guys promised us that bookkeeping of the funds would be open and on the blockchain, so unless you guys plan on breaking that promise, all expenditures that happen from the ITO funds will be public knowledge anyway. Which shouldn't be a bad thing, keeps everything as honnest as it possibly can. Wink

Transparency is necessary if you do such a projekt.

I totally agree  with your points and hope this will be solved here soon.

Yes, you're right, and all spending will be recorded on the blockchain. No question of that.

On the other hand it could make sense in terms of the privacy of devs for, say, coins to be taken from the funds in larger batches allocated to, say, a given release. From there, payments to individuals could be kept private, while the amount used for a given release will still be publicly disclosed.

How does that sound?

Sounds like there's something to hide.  No reason to not be transparent otherwise.  WE are paying your salary by participating, therefore, we deserve to know who is receiving the funds.  Argue that one.
