Sometimes something happens that requires the coin client to be updated and its blockchain re-downloaded.
You mean like a filesystem crash ? No, it's something to do with the coin itself. I don't know the details but it happens at the exchanges too and they're hands are tied until they have the latest client aka wallet installed and the blockchain up to date which sometimes means starting over. I'm not saying I know what's wrong, just saying there's several possibilities and many of us have mined right through them. My miners are running just fine on both scrypt and SHA MultiPorts and if cgMiner says my shares are being accepted then I know that I will be paid all I'm owed. Thanks for the clarification Aurum. No worries. One thing leads to another though … for example, just because our miners are reporting accepted shares and receiving new work doesn't mean the multipool.us database server is working right. Really there isn't enough at stake here to stress about things but the cavalier attitude of multipool.us towards its customers surprises me. if 50 grand in coins a day isnt worth worrying about can i have some of your money?  idk the real numbers, but its alot of money ppl lose when pools go down out of the blue |

i was in the first pool also, and yesterday the owner was on here telling us the issues. it was not the owner of the coins pool... i was able to get all of my asr that i mined from the first pool at the very begining out of his pool yesterday. idk about anymore, but i got all of mine. and stop with all the scam bs, shit happened,just like it does with EVERY launch here.. but this is not a scam coin. if you think it is, please move on to the next one and in 3 months when this coin is like every other coin and on the big exchanges youll say "DAMN THOSE TROLLS ON THE FORUMS TOLD ME THIS COIN SUCKS AND I LOST MONEY BECAUSE I BELEIEVE RANDOM PEOPLE ON THE FORUMZ

OFFICIAL UPDATE ON http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO AND EARLY COINSSo due to the concerns expressed in this thread regarding http://astropool.co/ and termination of operations, I have contacted the creator of Astropool.co and he has informed me that when Astrocoin mining started at 12 A.M. UTC Jan. 22nd after a public announce on our IRC channel and here on Bitcointalk forum, the difficulty was very low, and several people jumped on board. The pool was unable to handle the traffic and there were several bugs. As of right now, the pool has shut down, everyone has been paid out in full and the site is still alive for anyone to go and withdraw their balances. Another concern many expressed was that there was an instamine right after launch of the mining pools. Up till the launch we mined 3100 blocks, however within a few minutes of the pool launch, the total blocks jumped to over 4500. The developer has notified me that there has been some unfair manipulation and that the pool did not reward those 1015 block coins to anyone. Taking this into consideration, we have successfully requested ASTROPOOL.CO to return the Astrocoins that were not tied/linked to any account during the massive mine at 0.07 difficulty. We have confiscated those coins and have stored them away in a cold wallet that is encrypted and offline. As of right now they are offline in a secure cold wallet. In the future we may do a mass giveaway of all those coins or something of that sort that will benefit the entire community. Wow this is gonna be worth more than MOONcoin for sure. if you take RPC's current price, and divide it equally by the difference in supply, you'll get a price of about 0.17 BTC each. If you compare it to Bitcoin, it should be 100, but even if its 1000 times less, it's still 0.1 BTC. Not surprised if we see anything higher post exchange. Exciting coin! Probably more to the moon than moon coin love the distant galaxy take haha i laugh at people selling for .04 or less |

6000 coins is more than 1,5% premine > 2.85% to be exactly
considering i was miningbefore block 4000 and their premine is suppose to be near this number, it seemed completely fair to me. everybody who missed out on the early start is mad...but they had to. someone got their source code and compiled and started to mine early so they went ahead and released it..it was the rite thing to do. |
