I don't think this coin can solve the problem described by you very well. if we don't care about time, we have Google and Baidu, and many questions are free, not to mention other similar websites and applications.
Exactly, but let's see if this project will be successful. This is gonna be cool if the question that people ask i mean it's not on google or baidu, something like solving the difficult question etc, I think this project should bring something that makes people interest to contribute in this project, just my though. Yes, this project will open source in this year, and the mainnet will be launched too! |

In my opinion, the reason for double sha256 is about fair, because the pow formula is:
sha265(sha256(data + nonce + pubkey)) -------> 0x0000000000aeff23232323 (example)
but one sha256() function is not equal distribution, for example, the following is possible: (whatever nonce and pubkey is)
sha256("aaaaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxx" + nonce + pubkey)------> 0xnnnnnnnnnfebbdd2af9892 (n means not zero, for example)
there may be some inherent compute process in one sha256 caused that if data be hashed is not equal distributed, the result of one sha256() may be not equal distributed too.
but double sha256() can reduce this.

The distributional consensus algorithm DPOS, which is the fastest in the cryptocurrency industry, is adopted for AskCoin.
