If I were you I would keep ETH instead of buying EOS. Even though the EOS is a potential coin, it cannot be equal to ETH. You should keep the ETH waiting for Bitcoin to recover the ETH that will increase and the profit from it is great because it is king of ICOS projects.

I do not think Altcoins price is entirely dependent on Bitcoin price. There are Altcoins that can decrease are lower than BTC when the market is down but opposites is right. When the market increase, Altcoins will high profit much better than BTC.

I think worth coins are BTC, ETH, XRP, XLM, XMR. These coin with fixed on top ten coinmarketcap. So you can be assured of investing without fear of capital losses.
