Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone. We trust everyone should have their orders now including backups, which were sent at a later date.

We've had a bit of backlog to catch up on. If anyone is still waiting for any orders, do contact concierge@coldcoinbitcoin.com and we'll help you out asap.

Just addressing some issues below:

Placement of hologram:
Unfortunately, these are placed manually and are very delicate, so that with the added trouble of shipping, honeycomb blockchain pattern and thin material makes it easy to damage. Once they're on they can't be moved. We managed to improve the placement method in which we use from now on, so we hope we don't see more of it.

Declaration at Customs:
Our dispatch team when filling out postage didn't know the exact pricing of our items or the implications of putting a higher or incorrect price (they thought it was only for insurance purposes apparently). We've contacted the person that was affected and obviously, we'll be sure that doesn't happen again.

Site Password:
Everything does work online though there are 2 user journey issues that need to be fixed and are very confusing to any user.
i.e 1. When you log in, you need to click 'My Account' button, where it should automatically be taking you there. It looks like the home page is just refreshed otherwise.

2. When you select to reset the password, it doesn't take you to a confirmation page, but rather looks like you've logged in and there's no user data. This is not the case and an email would be sent to you to create a new password. Though that also takes you to a login page with no reset options. We will fix this asap.

If you need to reset your password please contact concierge@coldcoinbitcoin.com and we fix this asap.

Thanks for your patience with all this guys, as we find our way through the new processes. Last thing we want is for any of you to have a crap experience so please don't hesitate to email and we'll contact you asap

Hey y'all. Yep they're numbered 1-250. Because of the wallet creation and paraphrase security, it can only be purchased online coldcoinbitcoin.com

Thanks hope you like Smiley please leave a review on the site if you can! <3

Hi all! Thought I’d share our coin to the list as well. Some on this forum have already purchased and waiting their dleivery now. It’s a buyer funded coin, gold plated (not solid gold) and it’s the only coin on the market with 2FA security password. So if it’s lost or stolen, it can’t be used without your password.

More info can be found at coldcoinbitcoin.com

Finally! We will start shipping this week! We are proud to be the only coin on the market with 2FA Security code on our coins, and they look pretty sweet if I do say so myself. I hope you guys love them and you have nice things to say about them, obviously we're up for any feedback you may have.

Thanks again

We did notice 1 user didn’t fill out their paraphrase so we will need to email you a link so you can do so. We think there’s an express checkout user journey that bypassed that page, but not to worry.

We will also send all customers an update newsletter on process of the coins and shipping expectations. To keep you all in the loop here, we’re waiting on a heat transfer material to arrive before we can start printing next week and there’s been a delay on our packaging. So we appreciate your patience and we’ll at least send pics and updates on where everything is at

Hi Guys!

Great to finally be apart of the community and for the support already received.

I’m part of Cold Coin Bitcoin, an Australian company and a small team at that. We’re still in development but over this weekend there will be an update to our site that will go in depth on everything. I’d be happy to answer any questions I can though, but more importantly I genuinely look forward to hearing all your suggestions and input. You guys are the main early adopters of this product and service so we take your opinions very seriously.

We want to try be as transparent as possible, it’s just early days + small team at the moment so we’re building information as we go, and I’m sure your input will help shape what we do.

The Cold Coin GOLD v1
250 made + 250 backup coins.
When you purchase a coin or coins, you will create and save your 2FA paraphrase (we do not store the paraphrase so it’s VERY important you save and make a backup copy). The paraphrase generates the public and private key on our end so we can manufacture your coin/s. We save your public key, but the private key is saved as a backup offline. The coins cannot be used without the private key on your coin/s + the paraphrase you created. So if you loose a coin it would be useless to someone else.

We are working on account dashboard that could potentially show your public key/s when logged in, and a link to view the balance loaded on your coin. All coins are buyer funded.

Hope we can deliver what you guys want and expect : )
