Did you heard something from others? I'm also interested in this topic.

I read a little more in depth on the actual website. Bitcoin became the only currency they could accept for payment after credit card and paypal issues arose.
I feel weary of sending bitcoin away not knowing what will become of it. I am funding this via profits, so I can accept a little loss if that does occur.

I dont think it is much different from page generaed with BTC address you have send the BTC to.

But I have no idea if Black Arrow Prospero X-1 is scam, read through other sections, and use the Search function

I'm just iffy about escrow, or rather, lack of. I will be contacting the email address listed on the website to see what I can work out.
I have used the search function, with varying results. Thank you for your input guys.

Greetings, I am Canowyrms. Been with this handle for plenty of years, in various corners of the internet world. Been lurking here for a while now, as a guest before creating an account...

Now that that is out of the way, I'd like to ask some questions regarding minersource.net.
I see a few threads out there with little to no feedback - no solid answers in either direction.

Now, I'm looking at the Black Arrow Prospero X-1, which will be shipping February 2014. I have looked into the manufacturers website, and buying ten is simply not an option for me. Purchasing one is a much more responsible decision in my case. I've made it so far to have signed up and placed an order on minersource.net (I should mention, I did accidentally click order, but since I want to purchase one, I am not all that concerned about it.) Here is what is irking me a little: I am instructed to arrange manual BTC payment by exchanging email messages with (blocked out to prevent spam) xxxxx@minersource.net. Now, I'm not a complete noob, but I'm not exactly a professional in this industry either. A manual BTC payment sounds to me like I'll be kissing some bitcoin away before they go spiraling down the drain -- no buyer protection.

Am I simply being mislead, or is this website a scam? I have seen at least one other user in particular who was upset and is stating they had been scammed by attempting to do business with minersource.net

I appreciate any and all feedback, and would greatly appreciate answers more in depth than "scam bro"... Have you been scammed? Share your story, suggest other block erupters, etc. Thank you all in advance. I will return to this topic on a regular basis, provided I have active feedback.

Edit:
I saw nothing in the way of Paypal or other buyer protective services. Simply "Email so and so to set up btc payment".
