1  Local / India / Re: Bithumb to launch in India - A thumb to eye for Anti-Bitcoin gang! on: October 17, 2019, 05:43:53 AM
Regulated crypto exchange??

Pretty confusing news! How come an exchange will be regulated when all existing Indian exchanges are getting their business to a different country? I think BitThumb is just being over optimistic about India eyeing the market potential. But they haven't yet faced Indian red tepism and tax terrorism. I would like them to try!

I think that India goes positive on crypto and start with drafting better regulations in order to get the best out of it, they know the potential revenue they can attract by opening doors to multiple high reputation exchanges with less tax, and even if taxes are higher, those exchanges know the potential of Indian investment so they'd dare not to miss the crisp of the piece they'd be getting once they chime into our country. Watching BitHumb taking this step is actually appreciating and giving others a wake up alarm that while others (Indian origin exchanges) have left the country due to the fears, these guys dare to take it to the next level while even being from a different country.
2  Local / India / Re: Buy bitcoin from binance? on: October 16, 2019, 02:27:44 PM
So recently you can start buying bitcoin from binance using debit card, but since banks are closing accounts which use bitcoin, is it safe? If i use my debit card to buy bitcoin on binance will my bank account close?

There is no issue with buying crypto using Indian cards but keep in mind that you don't have to mentioned any remark related to crypto while doing payment. I better advice you to use CoinDCX or wazirX, one of safest and fastest way for purchasing crypto.

Why won't there be any issue? Even if OP doesn't add any remark related to crypto, won't the Bank be able to see where did they send the money? It will be shown clearly in the statement and they may easily trace you because if you're able to do it once, no wonder you'll try and make your move the second time and go on and on until traced. Make sure that if the Gov's Psychotic crypto ban bill comes into action, OP will get the worst surprise of his entire life by being thrown behind the bars. Using P2P is really good when you know whom you're dealing with and the end party needs to be trustworthy as well, so not to reveal anything crypto related if they file their returns because some are too honest and they don't know that they don't just get stuck alone, but also take the other party scrutinized. Wink
3  Local / India / Re: What's you view on the court case ongoing in Supreme Court-Positive or Negative? on: October 16, 2019, 02:13:20 PM
I strictly believe that the Gov is still not in favor of BTC at least and they want their national digital currency set up. I don't know why they want to come up with the same when we already have PayTM, though it doesn't have blockchain involved but all the remaining features are the same - everything straight from your bank account to the other party's account where we all get our finances tracked by the Gov and Higher authorities as well as Tax Authorities and we may be traced through as well as reached too because we give our number as well as many of us follow the KYC procedures as it is now mandatory. I think there should be a one on one debate between the community and some Gov officials in the court itself and the hearing should go on till a decision is taken because no matter whatever the outcome is, people will continue to use BTC and this might also increase some "in the dark" trades. It's like if we get something positive on our side, this will at least let those businesses (exchanges) get the pleasure to begin serving their customers with those trades which were stopped due to RBI's involvement here.

6  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: October 01, 2019, 07:30:03 AM
fullypak has been an account seller for a longtime, has had neg rep for awhile too and doesn't care. Doesn't care about anything except money. The best way to deal with this dude is try to find out what accounts he is selling and report them.

I don't think he's that stupid to give names to anyone to check those accounts, so it's definitely not going to be an easy task for us to try and find any of his accounts (except he left any clues by using same addresses in some bounties and what not). But based on his knowledge about the forum, I don't think he left any footprints as of yet and you will only know after someone actually buys them and starts spamming with those accounts after joining this campaign. And yeah, a personal hats off for your spam busting services.
7  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: September 30, 2019, 05:17:29 PM
I know they are hungry for money but some of us really deserve to be in this campaign and we put time and effort when we post and then we have this type of users who are abusing the campaign.

For every campaign, there are campaign abusers, trust me. A campaign without a true, dedicated manager is like a horse without a Charioteer, so that horse doesn't know where to move towards and precipitately runs towards any direction he sees fit. To control such horse (signature campaign abuse through spam), I guess we need Charioteers like Yahoo, Darkstar, Lutpin and many other openly dedicated managers to the forum in order to stop that abuse from getting spread. Yahoo is actually doing great work while removing those who don't really deserve to be a part of this campaign and I'll try to be helpful in a way I can - by reporting bad posts and posters to Yahoo.

Sorry, I read one thread and pay attention for such user;u=223772;sa=showPosts randomly. Is it normal for legend to get BTC for such posts?

For that purpose only you're given that "Report to Moderator" link on each our posts! You don't like it? Report it. Great work though. (Thumbs up).

I'm here for training my english skills (in Politics and Society people answer not so often) so will be appreciated for any mistake fixes ^_^

Your English is good.
You should rather look for Vadi2323 who can teach you Russian language in a very charismatic way - spanking your head off by barking unlimited number of usage of words like "whore, slut, faggot, obscene" without trying to present you the major explanation of what you expect from him - TRUTH.
10  Economy / Reputation / Re: Legendster : Hunting the Lepers on: September 27, 2019, 10:29:24 AM
A brief report on communication in PM with signature whores in the English section brothel
LoyceV did not write for free
1miau did not write for free
Stedsm mastered 2 free messages, in which he showed himself not just as a signature whore, but as a dirty stinky signature whore from a garbage can. In compensation for the pleasure I decided to show his messages here so that he could earn a little more:

Thanks for ^repeating^ the already shown messages here in my thread:

You didn't earn anything but more disrespect here while trying to test my nerves on whether I continue with your bullshit or not. You didn't respect, you truly understand that if I were at your place and PMed you, calling you out a whore, that doesn't really sound respectful. Do you? Now just fuck off as you don't really have anything to justify what you've committed and directing the discussion towards what I said has nothing to do with the accusations you're currently facing for your karma.
11  Other / Meta / Re: Appealing admins to ban this guy Vadi2323! on: September 27, 2019, 09:37:02 AM
most mentally-challenged people
Are you game-protects alt? Lol sorry couldn't resist

Heck, I'm sorry I was following his thread and even criticizing him for all his efforts of spamming shit by asking users to prove him a scammer and he'd pay 5 BTC. I was so stressed I didn't know I used his patented words here. /jk
So, many credits to game-protect whose alt I'm not by the way Cheesy
I hate that guy from the very depth of my heart.  Cool
12  Other / Meta / Re: Appealing admins to ban this guy Vadi2323! on: September 27, 2019, 08:55:54 AM
He's a funny guy:
Tell your scam team that sent you to write this topic that Vadi2323 crushed them, crushes and will crush, and no sophisticated trick, no complaints to hypocrites will frighten Vadi2323.
Reminds me of Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf.

Just ignore his PM, that's what I did Tongue I don't think he'll be banned for this, there are far worse trolls still roaming the forum.

I believe there's a rule on the forum that anyone who sends you unnecessary, unsolicited PMs without your consent and/or expectation and if reported to admins, can get banned for doing so?  Undecided

I really don't want to have a headache while watching my incoming messages being filled by unwanted messages out there that has nothing but highly non-sensical stuff in it.
13  Other / Meta / Re: And the campaign is back on: September 27, 2019, 08:49:30 AM
The participants that make up the campaign are the representatives that the forum sees, you'll need a manager that'll select the very good posters, that way everywhere the signature is seen, it'll be complemented with a sensible and quality post above it.
Yahoo, Hamphuz, Dark star and some other top managers do and can do that effectively, you'll need to contact them if you wish, to know if they'll be interested, considering the furore this campaign has caused.

Thanks, we'll ask these managers and wait for their answers

This shows that since the old campaign ban, you still didn't learn quite a lot while showing up with the same type of campaign once again. I've got a few things to ask:

- You've been on this forum for so long (considering that your campaign had been running here for years), weren't you aware of the spam your campaign did spread?

- Why didn't you learn about so many highly reputed campaign managers here even before your campaign began for the first time? And even if not, why not this time? The forum needs not to be blamed but you for being lazy by not doing research you needed to make your campaign a successful experience for both you and the participants.

- Due to you not being active, do you even know that Yobit's campaign has got enough negative responses and not just limited to that, but even red tags for those who decide to participate in your campaign?
14  Other / Meta / Appealing admins to ban this guy Vadi2323! on: September 27, 2019, 08:20:36 AM
Profile of Vadi2323

Lately, I've been getting attacked again by one of the most mentally-challenged people who don't give a fuck to their deeds and start pushing and provoking us in a debate we don't even want to have with them. This guy accused me pf signature spamming which I didn't do, but what he did should really be considered as unethical in terms of sending merits and especially sending PMs to me with all his bullshit arguments I'm not even worried to know about.

One by one all his PMs, out of which I replied over 2 just so to make this Russian pig believe that I don't just post for money. But then, he just started insulting from the first message he sent me and believes he'd get respect from me? A middle finger in his ass in the name of respect.

Tы жe нe шлюxa пoдпиcнaя, вepнo? И ecли пepeживaeшь тaк зa py-лoкaл, знaчит ты нe пpoтив пoлyчить oтвeты нa cвoи вoпpocы в ПM. A чтoбы я yбeдилcя, чтo ты нe пoдпиcнaя шлюxa, oтвeть мнe нa этo cooбщeниe coглacиeм c мoим пpeдлoжeниeм и мы пpoдoлжим c тoбoй. Yeah, I'm not a whore but you're a true slut, I can say that.
I never expected you to bark behind the wall but roar like a lion publicly but you couldn't even defend yourself because you know from your inner self that what you did is unjustifiable. If you believe I sig-spammed, go fuck with your "Report to Moderator" button in that thread. As well, please don't take the pain of sending me PMs in any other language except English. And yeah, that phrase suits you a lot, "When a thirsty fox became unable to reach the heights of the tree to gain some grapes, he started barking 'Grapes are sour, grapes are sour' and that's you".

Cyдя пo твoeмy oткpoвeннoмy cooбщeнию этoмy, в кoтopoм ты yжe дeмoнcтpиpyeшь пoлнoe oтcyтcтвиe интepeca к мepитaм в py-лoкaлe, тaки ты пpocтюшeнция пoдпиcнaя. Я жe тaкиx кaк ты cpaзy вижy. Кaкoe жe ты ничтoжecтвo.

Fuck your brain with your mentality, sucker.
If you believe I'm a sig-spammer, think it that way and satisfy your ego. Cheesy
And yeah, I didn't give a damn to ru-locale (based on your thinking) because you're underemployed to do so, huh? I saw the type of posts you've merited, and by calling me a whore and prostitute, you believe that I'm open to discussing things with ya, take my long dick in your fluffy stuffed ass and then, GTFO. Stop ranting because you've not done anything that's worth it.

A кaк ты мoжeшь пoнять, oбocнoвaннo я зaмepитил или нeт, ecли ты нe читaeшь и нe пoнимaeшь пo-pyccки? Oтвeт: никaк. тeм нe мeнee ты пишeшь yкзaния, чтo и кaк мнe дeлaть. Heck, he doesn't even know about his own responsibilities and now trying to provoke me to get into an unnecessary discussion by continuous bullshit over PM. Can this attack be stopped or do I need to take steps from my end? I guess the guy's gone mad over me as I'm the victim for all his bullshit today and he wanted to eat up my brain.  Huh

Quote from: Admin
Dear Forum Users!

We start to pay for every post on this forum - 0.00001 btc (1000 sats).

Max daily msgs: 30 / day

Payments will be available from 2-3 September but all messages are counted from now.

- we need only constructive posts

- each post must contain 100+ characters, no low value

Moderators will check all posts and ban/block spammers.

Good luck!

I believe Yobit is addicted to spam and are also trying to drive people crazy for money with their new campaign on their own forum where they'll be paying pennies for just 30 posts (max) per day and they expect their users not to spam, else they'll get banned. Well-watchable circus going over there.

Source of the quote above =

One strange thing is that, I've seen many people hopping from Bitcointalk over there making accounts with the same username they've got here. Maybe they don't love their privacy nor their accounts, because if they've used the same password they used at Bitcointalk, I guess their BCT account is at stake now as I'd never trust a forum (cryptotalk) from those who appreciate spam. I'm not sure if the accounts made with Bitcointalk names over cryptotalk are of those using Bitcointalk with those usernames here, however!  Roll Eyes
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are about to hit 8K and below...soon (see charts) on: September 26, 2019, 11:28:02 PM
I believe we are heading back to 6.8k range. Not sure when yet. But I think we go lower from here.

I've got something to share here:

BTCUSD Monthly

Watching both the charts very carefully, I can conclude that this beast is probably following the older pattern and may form a triangle very soon that could be a deciding factor for the long run of BTC in a single direction (could be up, could be down). But all I can say here is that, OP's prediction of $6800 is valid and possess some weight in it because if it is actually following the older pattern, then I see an extra possible downturn as well as sideways incoming. However, it can't go much down because the previous high (~$20k) was much more higher compared to the lower high we saw this year (~$14k) which lowers down the possibilities of a free fall.
17  Economy / Reputation / Re: Legendster : Hunting the Lepers on: September 26, 2019, 11:04:48 PM
...Wait wait, is it your account only? Or is it that you did that for some kinda financial gains (maybe a deal cracked between both of you, eh!)?
Is anybody there who may write without signatures???

There were too many signatures of ChipMixer for me in this thread. My eyes hurt! Tell me please when will all that signatures be stoped with your signature spamming? Where can I leave a complaint about your signature spam here?

Why not simply go to Profile -> Look and Layout Preferences -> Check the box that says "Don't show users' signatures." -> Change Profile ?
It's the best way and that your eyes won't feel butthurt (fuck I couldn't stop laughing my ass off while writing this) and you'll feel much more better. Get well soon, Vadi2323. Cheesy

Now, let's get straight to the point.
On a serious note, just think what the fuck are you doing.
Ok, about the signatures, no I don't ever post to make a buck and you know what? Check my post history and yours and you'll see (and even feel) the difference. Pointing fingers immediately over people who've got signatures just because you've got nothing else to blame upon has become a common practice here nowadays and I don't really give a fuck to that anymore. Go watch your face in front of a mirror, ask yourself was it all unintended what you did or it was done intentionally? Merit source doesn't mean you need to find some person, go behind him through his posts, stalk him for just a day or two and send all your sMerits to them, you know nothing about the given authority to you. Wait wait, what about your actions on defending Livecoin?

Is this really Merit source material?
Isn't this really signature spam? Do you really think it is useful material for signature campaign?

этoт нe лyчшe) тaкoй жe дoлбoeб cтpoящий из ceбя бoгa
Google Translate translates this to: "this is not better) is the same hollow building from God".
The right translation is: "He isn't better) he is the same douchebag too who imaging he is God". It was written about LoyceV, one of "the most known users". We were discussing this topic and some members of English DT.

I truly believe he knows his job and he does it way better than you - distribution of merits to the right people and posts. You didn't respond to my query - do you always do it like that? If yes, I don't think you deserve to be a merit source any further. I don't know about reporting our posts for signature spam or whatever but I'll surely report you to admins and ask them why the hell should people like you be given such authority when you don't even understand how to follow it?

Lolz, as to my expectations, this ass-licking pageant clown PMed me with all the bullshit he could spit out off his mouth. Please use Google translate to understand if you don't get the meaning behind his words. He thinks I'm a signature whore! Now you tell me, what do you think Vadi2323?

Without increasing my post count, I've edited this post to show ya people how he's trying to provoke us behind the scenes. He's got nothing to prove but to fuck our minds with all his non-sensical comments.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How Bitcoin transactions work and what are their types? on: September 26, 2019, 10:49:28 PM you believe that's actually a form that can scale it in the long run considering the hyper hefty blockchain size that's technically too high for an average sized hard disk of a PC if people decide to run a node through downloading the whole blockchain?

To be honest, debate about the size of the Bitcoin block does not bring anything and even if, then it is only a temporary solution. With the time passing, we see new problems emerging and we still haven't solved old once. We have the Lightning Network running, which is a good thing of course and we have to help, to get it fully adopted, but still, this does not solve any of the problems with: transactions, speeds onchain, blocks and blockchain size, etc. Everybody was so focused on the LN start that we have forgotten about other important aspects or just naively believed, that Lightning will magically solve all these problems.

I believe LN is a solution for those believing in the offchain transactions with lesser fee involved, but even after doing it through LN can't resolve the size and scaling just because we are bound to take those transactions online in the future and add that size to our current blockchain, I believe that compression of Blockchain could be the only possible scenario that could help but don't really know how it'd be put in action by the devs if they ever decide to do so because the biggest risk of doing that will be - losing some old (and even new) transactional data possibly if it poses a glitch that could remove a piece of the transaction to reduce the size through compressing it, nothing else comes to my mind as of now.

Bitcointalk was the place for the biggest discussions about BTC development and future plans, so if there are any discussions actually ongoing, please point me to them because
I would really like to know what the future plans for Bitcoin development are and what is the (so-called) roadmap if there is any?

Well, to what I've seen, these guys always try to dig a well whenever fire takes place so I haven't clearly seen any such development related debates especially through developers (maybe they are doing it behind the curtains) or it is possible that they believe in actions rather than just words. Smiley

While I'm trying to give you any benefit of doubt, you are making that very difficult...

[_img][/img] [_img][/img]

Looks like you're the only one who's detecting his genuine and meritable posts

[_img height=500][/img]

If you want to stay a Merit source please watch out for posts deserving it.

You bark to the wrong tree. If you have a lot of free time and have nowhere to put energy, take a look at the topic starter. Why did his theme coincide with the recent similar theme of the blackmailer scammer izooomrud?

Also noteworthy is Lovesmayfamilis. Why is his investigations for which he received very many merits can be easily simulated? Why did he start to lie in this thread? Why does he oppose the fight against trading accounts in Russian locale? I have repeatedly shown that he is lying, why not pay attention to this?

Why not pay attention to your own self first before pointing fingers over others, Vadi2323?
What was so special to reward Viktor SPB around 50 merits in a period of just 2 days? You've had those merits to be sent to the most deserving candidates but all you did was sent these merits as a special treatment to Viktor SPB while most merits were sent over a single topic? Heck. We guys try to filter out the best ones among the average guys out there, do you always do that Mr. Merit Source? Then I believe that you don't even deserve to be one. Wait wait, is it your account only? Or is it that you did that for some kinda financial gains (maybe a deal cracked between both of you, eh!)?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Upgrade to 018.1 on: September 26, 2019, 07:41:23 AM
Please try as mentioned here:

Unless you're using ancient Bitcoin Qt (0.7.x or lower), the upgrade process will be done automatically and all you have to do is wait.
If you encounter any problem on automatic upgrade, please share debug.log

It is also said in the link provided that "Upgrading directly from 0.7.x and earlier without redownloading the blockchain is not supported." So yeah, that's one kind of an extra step OP needs to take before continuing with the upgrade.
