881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sales of bitcointalk account must be discouraged on: January 20, 2021, 08:49:58 PM
You're saying that the admin does not want it at all for anyone to sell/buy accounts, but theymos never showed any regrets for the same nor he personally stopped any of us for this. He simply said that it's allowed which means nobody's committing a crime if they do this, it's just that it is going to be discouraged because community doesn't like it at all.
882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fast ways to lose money trading on: January 20, 2021, 06:55:07 PM
One of the fastest ways I know of (and even some stupid person did it by blowing away investors' BTC) is leverage trading. It can go wrong anytime but you must know at what leverage you should enter and exit. I know of some people who love to take risks at 100 and even 125x leverage but the worst of it all, they do it with their capital all-in and then get liquidated.
883  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid lessons learned know when to finish on: January 20, 2021, 06:44:16 PM
Covid was not something expected, so you can't really say that someone who sold it before Covid did the right job. Maybe the ones who bought such businesses have the capability to run it even during the worst times? Maybe they dragged such businesses into profits which old owners couldn't just because of their mindset? Though, this pandemic truly proved who's a friend and who's a foe. Smiley

885  Economy / Speculation / Re: When The Inevitable Happens With The Dump - What Will Bitcoin Be Worth? on: January 19, 2021, 07:24:33 PM
I smell a massive dump to be happening in a few weeks if not days, but for that to happen, I believe BTC needs to get under $29k for a confirmation that the bullish trend is changing and then the trend will be biased until BTC goes either way. I firmly believe it should get down some day when that so-called institution decides to bring out their loaded guns (BTC which were accumulated between $6k to $20k) and suck the hell outta investors when they start tumbling the markets. But it won't be as quick as we saw in 2018, this time it'll be a slow death.

Happy that they are paying some users to check out their site and review it, a helpful guy I must say. I will update and send a new review once I check out the website myself. Smiley

@irinaursskgb
Why didn't you share the names of your websites in public? Which domain (genre) do each of them belong to?
If privacy was your concern, can you PM me the names of those websites? I assure you I won't reveal it to anyone until you permit me to.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum just broke an ATH price on: January 19, 2021, 05:20:54 PM
It's good to see Ethereum climbing like this. It all points to the direction that altseason is soon starting.

It already started way before ETH's rise. I believe this is truly unnecessary and like every other tokens user, I'm not happy at all because to move even $15 worth of tokens to an exchange, I need to pay more than $6 (at the time of writing this) to miners just for the sake of getting my transaction confirmed and as there are chances of failures, I'm scared that I may lose everything if I send less in fee.

Quote
Now "why is Ethereum climbing when it's so expensive to use?" - it's expensive to use thanks to the fact that a lot of people are interested. Just the normal way of things happening.

Literally typical nonsense and highly unwanted. ETH miners must be making fortunes but we people are suffering a lot due to this and unable to make ^cheap^ transactions over ETH Network.

0.0013 BTC per post and max post cap is 400 post per month. 400 posts ~ 0.52 BTC per month, really?  Grin

I was one of very few people who got paid BTC0.405 for one week when I was a participant of a reputed campaign here (don't remember their name though as it was during 2014). My bad I didn't save them  Undecided Cry
890  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech. Analysis vs. Value Investing vs. Growth Investing vs. Narrative Economy on: January 17, 2021, 11:38:13 AM
To me, Bitcoin seems to have included all of these investment types and is a mix of them.

Tech Analysis is used in trading of BTC to understand important buy/sell levels where high liquidity is available and that BTC could go towards in order to liquidate such areas.

Value and growth investing had been a part when people saw the old records of others buying it for very low and then they bought it even at highs because they believed in the technology and waited for the growth of the project as well as its value. So these 2 are correlated here.

And narrative economy? Ah, Bitcoin got its mass adoption through the power of word of mouth advertising and there are so, so many success stories available in the markets about people earning great returns through this investment.
891  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Fake [banned mixer] - NEW on: January 16, 2021, 08:11:51 PM
Very nice catch, yes, it's brand new and probably these criminals are just waiting for someone to fall for it. Another red flag is that the site is not even SSL, which the scammers forgot to add to really look like it is legit.

That's right, nonetheless, noobs will still fall for this if they're not technically sound about mixers as well as even websites. I highly doubt there are, but even if they'll scam 10 people, I guess they'll easily make up their money they used in making that website. Reporting it to complaint based websites will be more useful than reporting at Google alone as it will only remove it from their index but it can still be sent through email blasters. I believe we should create some active complains and even report this website at scam adviser.

893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: January 13, 2021, 05:14:12 PM
I got to know that the dump happened because of a bug that took place at coinbase where only sell orders were taking place, and so coinbase being a highly reputed exchange, others felt the heat of it by seeing the dump taking place everywhere. Need not to panic but I believe this area of $30k-$36k is crucial and should either hold or broken up to continue this parabolic bull run.
894  Other / Meta / Re: [TOP-200] The most generous users giving merits on: January 13, 2021, 05:07:59 PM
Quite amazed that even while not being a merit source, I managed to hold #149th while I never thought I'd even be in 1000 users who send merits at a constant pace. Will keep supporting the best ones here. Grin
I'll try my best to gain and give merits and hope to get in top 10 some day.  Smiley
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was not wrong to bought bitcoin. on: January 13, 2021, 03:03:34 PM
You did a courageous act knowing that you bought it too high and you were still skeptical about it, though you bought. All you need is faith in your investment and you're fine. Hope you already sold it at that point because BTC is currently at $34480 (at the time of writing this), though still in profit. Congratulations for your earnings Wink
896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you store your cold wallet?? on: January 12, 2021, 09:06:39 PM
I have made a settlement with my brother on this by keeping all my recovery phrases as well as cold wallets in his phone which was never used to get connected to internet and not even have a sim card. So even if I die, I'm tension free that he'll manage to withdraw my BTC (whichever I saved but it's not worth too much, maybe some satoshis) and sell them for a great value.
897  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/w on: January 12, 2021, 10:29:40 AM
It's pointless for everyone (including me) who are not in this campaign to give their unnecessary and unwanted opinions in this thread. This is not some lets-speculate-if-CM-reduces-their-pay-or-not thread where we're hopping onto with our opinions. I believe CM has the best and highly capable campaign manager as well as team members who can decide for themselves if it's becoming too expensive for them or they're fine with what they're paying. Nonetheless, as I used to be a part of this campaign, I have experienced the warmth of being a member of it and I can say that Chipmixer-ers are getting what they deserve from the very beginning as they have a completely different class when it comes to making posts here. You people (who are not in this campaign) can simply compare their quality with others and you'll know why CM proudly pays them this much. Wink
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: January 11, 2021, 09:46:39 AM
You can go for masked emails or disposable emails with a timeline of a year or two and use that specific email for bounty purposes alone and you're fine. Though, I agree with your initiative to start hiding email addresses of users because we definitely love our privacy and some users don't have time to even create a masked email and they simply give out their real email address in the form.
