DAV is a Utility Token! We're pleased to announce to our community that the DAV Tokens will be classified as utility tokens by the Swiss regulator! With a landscape filled with regulatory uncertainty, we believe DAV is one of the first projects with this improved level of regulatory certainty, which we feel is a monumental accomplishment.
We are very happy to let our dedicated community, including our community developers, know that the DAV Network, which we’ve been working so hard together to build, is indeed supported by the DAV utility token. This is terrific for our community and we look forward to keeping up the good work. We recognize the importance of this classification and the added confidence it brings us that we’re innovating in the right direction.

Hey, all. You require to append token details to permit participants to join the project!
Hello, Miwaren, I'm not sure I understand your point, would you please rephrase/elaborate? Advanced thanks.

I found this project has some ideas quite similar to a project also introduced by AmaziX Smart Containers. Both projects have two types of coin and are used for logistics. Is there a copy of the idea here?
Hello, nmthu2209. Smart Containers is focused on airfreight logistics, while Blockshipping is focused on maritime shipping.

Good to see that the smart contract updateis transparant and shared with the community. The communication of Cardstack with the community is very good and clear, what in my opinion will have a good impact on the whole proces of Cardstack.

Check out this new interview with Chris by CryptoPotato: https://cryptopotato.com/cardstack-founder-chris-tse-talks-about-his-vision/He talked a little bit about you all here: “Token projects aren’t companies—they’re networks. They’re loose federations of people working together towards a common economic destiny for a common goal. And that’s why people are excited about it. They’re not trying to make another Google—they’re trying to make something better.”

It is important to note that Bancor is not an exchange. It is a liquidity network. When you are buying or selling, it's not a trade. It's a computationally intense conversion of one token into another. Also Bancor does not take any fees.
But still it looks like more as centralized exchange than p2p network as conversion rates are defined by proprietary algorithm a of Bancor and users are not able to do it by themselves, isn't it? yes it is a centralize exchange even if you call it a liquidation network, and yes the conversion of each token are taken from the market value and your reference would be coinmarketcap. Hello, Chichidori. Bancor is not an exchange in any way simply because there are no parties exchanging. There are no buyers/sellers and no order book, which is essential for an exchange. The Bancor Protocol effectively disconnects liquidity from trade volume.

Check out this new interview with Chris on Analysis in Chains! https://www.podbean.com/media/share/pb-rtpju-920af1Chris talked a little bit about his motivation behind Cardstack: “The Cardstack project actually started as an idea of reaction against the centralization of Facebook and the app silos. You need 45 apps on your phone to do anything. And you have to switch between different ecosystems and different logins and different regimes with the digital superpowers controlling those apps. And I felt that was something that was going wrong even as early as 2014. So I went around the New York City meetup community. To the design community, the tech community, the programming community, and the cultural community, and said, ‘We need to stack the deck against this increased centralization of Silicon Valley.’"

I like this project because it is one of the easiest to understand. Reading the whitepaper is so concise and relatable unlike a good number of projects I have come across, well done, team

It is also a project to solve logistics tracking problems with block chain. There are already many such projects. I would like to know what your advantages are,Where does your faith come from
Within the container shipping industry today only a few other companies besides Blockshipping are developing blockchain-based solutions. One is the Hong Kong based company 300Cubits, another is the Maersk Line and IBM Blockchain joint venture. None of these have the same focus as Blockshipping and they are not considered competitors to Blockshipping and the GSCP platform. However, both demonstrate and validate the huge potential for blockchain technology in the shipping and transportation industry. Besides, a number of other companies are offering solutions which have some functional overlap with the Blockshipping solution, but none of these are based on blockchain and smart contracts and none of them is offering a solution as complete as Blockshipping’s platform, they are only able to match smaller parts of Blockshipping’s proposition. You can also refer to a very neat table in section 4.3 of the White Paper.
