Your problem is the plots directory.. Change this with your plots directory..
I need to have all in the root, is that it? My example: { "poolUrl" : "127.0.0.1:8125", "submissionMaxDelay" : 30, "submissionMaxRetry" : 3, "socketTimeout" : 60, "maxBufferSizeMB" : 4196, "plots" : [ "G:\\plots", "E:\\plots", "I:\\plots", "H:\\plots", "D:\\plots", "F:\\plots", "J:\\plots" ] } Have you enough RAM? This miner doesn't accept solo mining..

Your problem is the plots directory.. Change this with your plots directory..
I need to have all in the root, is that it? no, you need to set the plot directory to /path/to/plotfolder(called plots i guess) Oh man, this is way too difficulty for me Is there any newbish-type tutorial that I can use? Open a cmd window in your miner folder and then then in the folder containing the miner as well If not, go in your plots folder and copy your address like in the web..

Can someone help me setting up my .conf file in uray's miner?
I have this settings:
{ "poolUrl" : "burst-pool.cryptoport.io", "submissionMaxDelay" : 30, "submissionMaxRetry" : 3, "socketTimeout" : 60, "maxBufferSizeMB" : 64, "plots" : [ "c:\\pocminer_v1\\plots", "c:\\plots" ] }
But when I start the miner it closes instantly. I'm trying to mine burst, but getting hard time setting things up. Could really use some help. Thanks
Try to create a .bat file and insert in this: burst-miner.exe PAUSE I downloaded uray's miner. It have only two files inside (3 with tha .bat file). They are burst-miner and mining.conf. I've tried pocminer as well, but couldn't get it to work. Your problem is the plots directory.. Change this with your plots directory..

ty uray for the release R4.... i'm using windows.. can you explain how to tune "maxBufferSizeMB" param? now i have this behaviour: java miner: HIGH ram usage, but low CPU usage Uray's miner: HIGH cpu usage, but low RAM usage.. it is correct for you??? or i set up some wrong param? using higher maxBufferSizeMB should make miner read plot faster but use more memory usage, using lower maxBufferSizeMB make miner use less memory, in exchange to slower read you can tune this value to make the miner finish reading plot within 2-3 minutes But 2-3 to complete reading is too long. Java took less than 1 min. I use higher maxbuffer but it doesn't make much difference. It uses more memory but reading plot is still very slow. ok, i will make optimization, but after we dont have any critical issue first, i want to make this miner can read any weird and funky plot first Thank you uray your miner is really good!

Io torno in solo..

Ecco: https://mega.co.nz/#!DgsWFIJA!H_D0Tg-Laxwp1yvccUwZG8uRx2jgz0IBTTZ91r0IfQA Con VirusTotal risulta pulito!

I've created an advanced windows port of the dcct's-linux plotter: Download: https://mega.co.nz/#!DgsWFIJA!H_D0Tg-Laxwp1yvccUwZG8uRx2jgz0IBTTZ91r0IfQASource: https://github.com/BurstTools/BurstSoftwareImprovements against the Java miner: - At least a 5 times better performance. With a Haswell CPUs up to 14 times.
- Break and continue a plot a latter time. Please break only between writes.
- Optional asynchronous mode for writing the plots in the background. Use twice as much RAM.
- I have only access to Intel CPUs, so I don't know if it is working for AMD CPUs.
- Setting lower priority class at start up to ease the impact for foreground applications (e.g. miner)
Usage: wplotgenerator <account id> <start nonce> <number of nonces> <stagger size> <threads> [/async] <account id> = your numeric acount id <start nonce> = where you want to start plotting, if this is your first HDD then set it to 0, other wise set it to your last hdd's <start nonce> + <number of nonces> <number of nonces> = how many nonces you want to plot - 200gb is about 800000 nonces <stagger size> = set it to 2x the amount of MB RAM your system has (with async 1x the RAM your system has) <threads> = How many CPU threads you want to utilise options: /async ... writing plots from a background-thread for best throughput (needs twice as much RAM) Plotter | Codepath | CPU | Codename | Logical processors | Total average nonces per minute | Average nonces per thread per minute | pocminer_v1 | Java | Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1660 0 @ 3.30GHz | Sandy Bridge-EP/EX | 12 | 2'048 | 170,67 | wplotgenerator | SSE4 | Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5405 @ 2.00GHz | Harpertown | 4 | 2'411 | 602,75 | wplotgenerator | SSE4 | Dual Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5650 @ 2.67GHz | Westmere-EP | 24 | 15'200 | 633,33 | wplotgenerator | AVX | Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1660 0 @ 3.30GHz | Sandy Bridge-EP/EX | 12 | 15'144 | 1'262,00 | wplotgenerator | AVX2 | Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4200M CPU @ 2.50GHz | Haswell | 4 | 7'830 | 1'957.50 | wplotgenerator | AVX2 | Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz | Haswell | 8 | 20'233 | 2'529.13 |
