Hi, any way to chunk log files into more manageable sizes, like 4/8MB? maybe even an external script?
Use Notepad++ app It can read 100-150MB *.txt files with no problem Thank you, but opening the file is not the issue, searching is.

MINERTRON™ Comprehensive Miner Monitoring & Alerting System App for iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/minertron/id1541270467Minertron™ is monitoring and alerting system app for iOS. Presently is works with SGMiner and compatible miners like TeamRedMiner. Support for other miners like Claymore, SRBMiner, Phoenix, LOL, and more coming soon! Minertorn™ is FREE for one miner with local and remote access. FEATURES:SUPPORTED MINER APPS Minertron™ presently works with the following mining apps: SGMiner, TeamRedMiner, and SGMiner Compatible. Coming soon: Claymore, Phoenix, EthMan, EthMan compatible, and LOL. Email us if Minertron™ doesn't work with your mining app and we'll add it! OPERATION After adding your miner(s) and setting them up (in Edit View from View Miners) you can start and stop the monitoring service and alerting from the home page using the Stop/Start button. Selecting the summary view (View Miners) will automatically start the monitoring service if it's not already running. COUNTDOWN TIMER Time until the next set of miner connections occurs (refresh rate); a negative number indicates it's processing and for how long. ADD MINER To add a miner choose 'Add Miner' from the main view and enter the values for the fields - there are some checks of the values you enter to prevent bad/invalid values from being input. After entering the values for your miner, press the 'SAVE' button. SELECT MINER APP - Set this for the miner app you are using this way the app will know which API to use. If you don't see your miner listed, just try different ones as many miners use the same API and also contact us and we'll add the missing miner to the app. MINER DETAILS To see the miner details click on the miner name in the summary view (View Miners). GPU DETAILS To see the GPU details click on the miner table cell in the summary view (View Miners). EDIT MINER To edit the values you entered for the miner, select 'View Miners' from the main view then select the miner, this will bring you to the miner details view, then press the 'EDIT' button. SETTINGS This is where you update the app's global settings, press the 'SAVE' button at the bottom of the view to update them after any changes. IDLE TIMER DISABLED - If enabled the app will keep the miner summary view (View Miners) open and not close out after a short period of idle time. RUN IN BACKGROUND - If enabled the app will continue to run in the background and monitor your miners and send notifications as needed. ENABLE AUTO REFRESH - If enabled the app will auto-refresh the miner summary view (View Miners) at the rate specified in 'REFRESH RATE' field. REFRESH RATE - Is the rate at which the miner summary view (View Miners) refreshes in seconds, the minimum value is 30 seconds. CONNECTION TIMEOUT - The time in seconds for which attempts to connect to your miner will persist. USE HASHRATE ALERTS - The global setting for using miner low hashrate alerts. USE CONNECTION ALERTS - The global setting for using miner connection timeout alerts. USE TEMPERATURE ALERTS - The global setting for using miner low/high temperature alerts. USE GPUS ALERTS - The global setting for using miner dropped GPU alerts. USE ALERT SOUND - The global setting for using miner alert sound when an alert is shown. ENABLE NOTIFICATIONS - The global setting for using miner notifications. AUTO START Turn on to auto start the service in the background with Menu View (default view). AUTO REMOTE Turn on to auto switch from local to remote when leaving/arriving from/to an area. ALERTS In app alerts only occur when the app is being used and visible, they can be enabled/disabled per miner in the details view and/or globally in the settings view. NOTIFICATIONS Remote notifications will not occur if the app has been terminated as compared to just closed. Also, Apple does not guarantee that notifications will occur in a timely manner nor at all - this is an Apple/iOS design and not an app design matter. REMOTE MONITORING Remote monitoring rquires setting up access to your miners through your router/firewall. HASHRATE VALUES The hashrate values shown in the summary view (View Miners) are average on the left and current on the right. Hi Kerney, when you get a chance can you post your open source SGMiner API extensions to github?
I'm almost done with a FREE miner monitoring app (for ios) and would like to include your extensions. When it's released on the app store I will start a new forum thread for it.
Thank you!
Hi jimmy, sent you a DM in our discord chat. Thank you! FYI: Since switching to MPH (from NH) miner has been VERY stable (no more just stops mining, probably switching coins was an issue), 4 miners up for days with NO issues :-)

Love your miner, it’s performing very well most of the time. Still have that weird issue (as others do from what I can see), miner just stops mining without any notice or clues other than no hashing, but miner window is open and shows hashing, but no updates. I can hit the ‘s’ key for stats and that works once, then cmd window freezes, any ideas?
Widows 10, 18.6.1, 6-Vega 64, v0.7.17
EDIT: I’ve update to driver 20.4.2, I’ll see if issue is resolved.
Issue is still happening always at the same point, just after GPU stats and before Pool stats - see pic. https://ibb.co/hyvcWfFHmm. That _really_ looks like we're hanging on trying to acquire a lock for the pool to read the current stats but get stuck. We did address a pool bug when using multiple pools for failover in v0.7.17, don't know of any other bugs. I see that you have a full log file for the run, would it be possible to DM a link to it it here on bitcointalk or dump it in a DM to me on Discord? I'd like to see if there are any pool related issues noted, and also sort out any underlying issue. EDIT: also, do you run with a single pool, or in a multi-pool mode with e.g. failover? Just an update, things are running smooth, may have been a riser power issue on the rig. If it happens again I’ll get you the logs.

Well I didn’t know you added failover pools, so I don’t have any yet. But to give you more info, this is happening with Nicehash, not sure about other pools. I’ll get the log next time it happens, right now things are running smooth so I turned logging off.

I JUST REPORTED ANOTHER POST--
I hope it will be gone when I check again later. Usually, it is gone. I check BCT threads a few times a day about the miners that I use . Actually, reporting the posts is like picking up aluminum cans for recycling, a hobby for the bored.
If I had a penny per report, I could buy a beer. --scryptr
EDIT: So, I checked back a few hours later and the malicious link post above this post is thankfully gone. I'm still thinking about the beer, though!
--scryptr
How about the one below your post? There must be a way to filter these via a handful of keywords, no?

i would suggest to stay away from this, i run it for a couple of hours to see what was the all the fuzzabout, then deleted the files cuz not feeling confy not paying the fee and reboot the pc, surprise surprise the OS was asking me for some dlls (opencl) to run something at the background, looks shady AF.
Gonna make a fresh install.
Stay away
You still paying fee, but to Falcon's wallet - 0x783231dEBa1FaFd90b4F146fDB21a374C29737fF . Nodevfee15 from Falcon requires you to run it as administrator to install and run kernel-mode driver that will intercept network packets to replace wallet address. This alone should scary you, even if the driver is known to be used for intercepting network packets, "nodevfee" app started with admin rights can potentially do some harm. I personally doubt it gonna do some bad things, what the point? Guy just wanna profit from clueless users, who believes that "nodevfee" exist. But all they get is slower mining speed because of Claymore's protection and fee that is still there. In my opinion 0.5% devfee version from Rwteam is best solution - no need to run as administrator, no external drivers/apps. According to their readme, 63% of devfee is still going to developer and other 37% to rwteam, but miners pay only half of devfee which is the main point of all such "devfee removers/reducers". Lately i switched to their Phoenixminer 0.5% version because people say that phoenix is faster than claymore, wanna test it. Results of Phoenix miner to Claymore comparison?

Hi, does anyone know what this error is all about - Vega64 rig, trm 0.7.13. 'Err, cmd 000000000000000000' last update? Yes, v0.7.13 Ha, seems that is an error printout from the API that wasn't really expected to be hit (ever). Someone/something is sending a bad command over our API. What is connecting to port 4028 on your rig? Otherwise, did you ever join our discord? Plenty of people there including myself who can have a go at your getting your Vegas going. Our support here is very limited these days, and I also don't think it's the best place to switch to a DM session, drop you a test build directly in our chat if necessary, etc. Also, for the record, don't believe all the bs some users are posting. The only money exchange between us and Discord is me having to pay for a Nitro membership to even be able to post our (large) release files in the discord, and that's that. Ah, I’m using Rig Cards for info reporting, might be that, thank you! Any idea why miner (v0.7.13) sometimes shuts down on Vega64 rig (see details a page or 2 back)?
